- I stealth camped in an old tree, foraged for wild food and cooked a meal over the fire. The use of a survival blanket, sleeping bag and a deer hide kept us warm all night. Something big and fast ran through the camp in the middle of the night!

A vagabond on a kayak, I really survive on uninhabited and tropical islands Greetings from Indonesia from the channel Dima traveler 👋🙂🏝.....
Very cool!
@@BUSHCRAFTTOOLS 🙂👍
All of these old trees are absolutely beautiful. Truly majestic. I don't normally go around hugging trees, but something about them makes me want to! Lol
I don’t want to boast 😂 but we have trees that are the same diameter as your oaks but 150 ft/45m tall in Washington State. I loved seeing how comfy Amber was in your cozy shelter! ❤️🌲🐿️🍄🟫
Another really cool and awesome video! Also, looking forward to seeing how your "cheap" house is coming along as well!
Thanks mate. I'll be doing an update on the cheap house soon
Another great video Dustin and Amber!

Night out in the hollow tree sounds good. And some delicious food to cook!
Quite the adventure in this one! You seemed happy throughout.
Great overnight adventure Dustin & Amber 👍👍. Omg Amber is adorable & loving 😍 ❤️. When I was living in B.C 🇨🇦, I always took my dog with me. Camping, fishing ,hiking, as they had my back. Per waning me of danger, blk BEARS, cougars, wolf's, Coyotes. A true companion ❤
more of this type please
loved it.
I live in the southeast corner of Kansas. I absolutely love your videos
Glad to see you out again
Those oak trees is atleast 500 years old.. Most likely 1000 y.o. The 500 years ones we got here in Denmark is smaller than that 😂😮💪🇩🇰 Skåååål
In the tree please from Canada LOL !!
beautiful big old trees with natural built in shelters too, watch out for wasps, ticks, rodents, spiders etc even spiders in the uk such as false widow can give a nasty bite if they fee; threatened and feel the need to protect themselves. many insects , rodents etc carry n spread disease, such as lymes disease, weils disease etc new subscriber here thanks v much for sharing you knowledge n experience x.
Thanks for the tips 😀 👍
Next year (or whenever), I'm going to put old emergency heat blankets around pot plants in the basement- gonna make weed tea. They'll keep warmth and light in while not lighting up my basement like a gin palace. Wherever I am it's legal now- I'll start my tomatoes like that as well.
Big tree camp out for sure great video. Say hi to amber for me
The raccoons fighting in the night😅😅
cool video👌.
I would love to see you spend the night in the old oak tree.
By the way, the oak tree has cancer, you can see it from all the tumors you see on the bark.
A tree like this one is probably a few hundred years old.
I know a thousand year old oak tree that is similar in size.
Greetings from Switzerland
Thanks mate. Its got to be like 500 years old or something??
@@BUSHCRAFTTOOLS even more...👍
Chef's advice here; mushrooms are one of the only things you can't over cook
Hi Dustin. Brilliant video!! Amber is a real treasure. Just saw where your video dropped. I always get excited when I see them. They are always really educational. Love all the information about the outdoors!! Cheers mate!! Looking forward to the next one!!😊😊😊
Keep the survival blanket and reuse in one of your builds to make water proof or to cover any cracks
I appreciate the variation of content in your videos.
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
The egg shell was indeed that of a wood pigeon
That's what I thought. Thanks mate 👍
great vlog on channel keep up the great vlogs thanks lee
Thanks 👍
12:00 Amber understood the assignment!
@@yuriy_kondor 😆😆😆😆
Regarding the wasps nest, I believe only queens survive the winter, they leave the nest and find somewhere to hibernate before starting a new nest the following year. Have you ever read the book Brendon Chase (also made into a TV series)? They lived in a hollow oak.
18:07 looks like a bear doesn't it
UGH! I hate spiders as much as you do! That’s why I only camp in a tent. Hahaha
Those plants inside your house look like poison ivy.
Will do you do another video with Mike of TA OUTDOORS it was fun watching you build those buildings and would be fun to watch again
