G’day ..I have been watching your videos and they really make me homesick..I was born in Antrim and was moved with my family to Australia when I was just 11 years old...I have spent my working life outdoors in Australia in agriculture and construction...I relate to your self sufficiency and independence as many of your viewers would...tnx for the sounds and feel of Ireland and it’s weather...best wishes to you and your family
mic Potato that’s a lovely comment to read, I’m only down the road from Antrim, great county. I get loads of message just like yours from Irish people living abroad. Hopefully one day you’ll get to return home for a visit and a wee cuppa tay as they say. Stay safe out there mate and thanks for tuning in 👍
I'm a very recent subscriber but I'd like to say that I am enjoying each and every vlog. Fortunately for me, I can go back to all of the previous vlogs, I'm looking forward to that! Thanks for sharing your life and your farm
@@IFarmWeFarm I'm in Scotland but my parents were from Raphoe Co Donegal, . To all of my holidays where around farms and tractors, I learned to drive on a 135 Massey 😜
Well done Adrian. A good few years ago I done my 3 month work placement with a great farmer with similar work ethic as yourself. I learned more from him in a few weeks than 1 year of ag college. Your a great inspiration keep up the good work.
Great video and it's well deserved that your channel is doing so well. Always interesting and informative content with some added humour too! Area around the cattle shed and yard is looking proper tidy.
Absolutely love the videos I love seeing the new videos u show case real life farming in Ireland and coming from a farmer u are top quality and I can only aspire to get my own place as good as yours keep up the good work
Never seen that type of "cordless drill", would be a great job as we tend to use old ESB telephone poles for hanging gates now as they last for years and years, we have the same post driver aswell they're a great job. When you put the quality work in you are bound to succeed at youtube, farm tour would be great and great video 👍
Great work Adrian can pick up so many tips from watching the videos it's just mighty, my near 3 year old boy Charlie demands "I Farm We Farm" every morning at breakfast to watch the videos he loves them particularly the one of you putting in silage with the shear grab, keep up the good work and well done. 👍🏻
Another great video👍👍👍 Those drills used to be used alot by ESB for drilling holes for insulators on poles.Keep sheep wire up 4 to six inches off ground allows to strim or cut weeds and briars underneath
My father use to have a cement mixer like that too, served my time on it. Im raging he sold it on and replaced it with a 3 point linkage shaft driven version. Its nowhere near as handy!! Great Video horse
Another excellent video, great tidy job. Suggestion for a 10k video would be a Q&A, subscribers post questions in advance as I think everyone asking would value your response and opinion based on how you run your operation. Keep up the good work👍🏻
Always great to have your own stuff. Post driver is something I’m in the market for. And you know. Any of these things might seem expensive the day you buy them but they pay themselves back quite quick.
Here I am looking for a post driver idea so I go make one. I can't seem to find any in Sweden where my home is and found your video. Good video. You have a subscriber now Im nearly sure Im not far away from you where I grew up 👌😂
I have never seen Grey sand in England it is usually red or , specialty yellow . BTW the borer are called auger drills I believe and originated from wooden ship building
That's a Scotch eye auger, I once bought ten of them at a car boot sale for £10! I felt a bit of guilt because the seller had no idea what they cost new! That's business though!
Your post pounder is much better than mine. Mine as nothing that rests on the posts. Mine has a huge I beam running up and down on rollers and a pair of springs to increase down speed. But with nothing to hang onto post except a little hand tool it is far scarier , more dangerous and a lot harder to try to keep a post straight.
A fellow Lakeland Dairys farmer. Good stuff! 👍

Another video that I didn't want to end brilliant content.
My father told me "if you have to borrow something twice, buy your own". Wise words.
Love the channel, gives a different way of looking at things in the farming world.

Well done keep the vids going
If you fully wind out the extension lead the mixer motor, or any other motor for that matter, might last a little bit longer.
It never really heats the lead, but a good tip, I’ll do that from now on
Good tidy job
Keep her lit pal,Ronan
when we fence we use a big gravel mix instead of sand
Nice work
A live vid would be a good idea. With me luck it’ll be at 4 o’clock when am still workin😂😂 grand vid again Adrian
Would you ever think about putting up a handy machinery shed for all your equipment and tractors ?
It’s top of my list, need one badly
Handy having your own mixer isn't it.
Definitely
Great job wish i was as good as you at youtube
You already are, keep it up

Is that sand from kerrigans quarry
Yes but it’s supplied by our local co.opp where it gets delivered from
I have never seen Grey sand in England it is usually red or , specialty yellow . BTW the borer are called auger drills I believe and originated from wooden ship building
i bloody hate when someone doesn't clean a mixer. Thats really nice post driver you got.

Today job as usual Sur !

Nice tidy job, where did you get those steel posts for hanging the gates, look like a great job.
All good Agri merchants would have them posts, there a good job as long as you don’t clip them 😉

Bull calves are sold on to local farmers

Old hydraulic oul is great for stopping the cement sticking to anything

Any hardware merchants should have both there
Q and a or talk about machinery your farm has down through the years
Very good infromed video, I bet you could give roger from skill builders a run for he's money...
What Is clogher markets where you got the level?
Jonsborough market
No I actually bought that at the ploughing one year
Your post pounder is much better than mine. Mine as nothing that rests on the posts. Mine has a huge I beam running up and down on rollers and a pair of springs to increase down speed. I think I know the one you have, there all dangerous in the wrong hand
Could you do a QA
Do a farm tour or day in life
can you do wiring by yourself?
Definitely so, it’s not very difficult when you get the hang of it.
Do you not find the timber poles rot over time and become loose in the concrete?
No I have esb poles in over 15 years and there all still perfect, just make sure to cover the tops
@@IFarmWeFarm What do you cover the tops with?
Sean Clarke lead or even plastic bucket lids do the trick
