I've only tried this with boneless breasts and while it was ok, it really did seem overcooked. So I'm definitely going to try it with bone in chicken next time. Those are harder to find in my area for some reason, but next time I see them, I'll grab a pack and give your method a try. Great video, you guys.
I can see how it got overcooked, and I definitely think the bone-in chicken helps with that! I also think all crock pots tend to vary in how hot they get- so maybe take an hour off of the cook time? So weird that bone-in is harder to find near you! Thanks for watching Krista!!!
@@mybizzykitchen You are so right about how different crockpots heat! I have 4 and they are all different for sure. I know....I used to see bone in chicken breasts all the time, but now they are like finding a unicorn in the wild.
The butter is mainly in the "juice" after cooking. I pick off all the bones and skin so I am only left with the chicken breast. If you feel like it, you can add 1-2 points for the residual butter. 🥰
Can't wait to try this one when we are back from vacation.
Also I love this style of video with Hannah doing narration!
Thank you so much Lynn!! This one is a keeper for sure - and I will let Hannah know! Glad you enjoy them!

How do you count the chicken as 0 points when you put butter on it
