Do rewinders for Robert Horry's game winning 3 in game 5 of the 2005 NBA Finals and David Freese's walk off home run in game 6 of the 2011 World Series
i think horrys game 4 vs the kings in 02 is a better one since it saved a series from ending early rather than going up 3-2 as his shot did in 2005 and no one cares about his spurs days...like 2002 saved a three peat and was so unlikely..2005 was just Rasheed messed up and horry was hot and angry that game...clade tipping to horry makes no sense as kobe and shaq just missed game typing layups lol
After all the build up to one play, I kinda wish you would show the final play a few more times than just one time. Show it from a few different angles or something. After watching this for 17 minutes just to finally see a quick 2 second clip leaves me disappointed. Give the final play all the props it deserves. Reward your viewers with all the clips possible of the final play from every angle imaginable. However, love the channel and love all the research.
I used to be a huge Allen Iverson fan His 00-01 Season and playoffs Was probably the best I ever seem to get that Team to an NBA finals was nothing short of pure magic by Iverson
Yeah without Iversen The only thing that Sixers team would have won is the Draft lottery Mutombo is a above league average player but no real scoring help Aaron McKee is Average at best and was playing good that year but still league average player nevertheless and Larry Brown won the coach of the year thanks to Iversen
Its obviously way too new now, but that Virginia buzzer beater to send the game to OT and the eventual win over Purdue will deserve a rewind in a few years if this series still exists. A game between possibly two of the best current coaches to never make a final four, a revenge story for Virginia after losing to a 16 seed the previous year, and Bennett becoming one of the only father son pairs to make a final four. That's not to mention Carsen Edwards insane tournament and 40+ points hung on a top 3 defense and the shooting slump broken by Virginia's best trey shooter in the second half. Plus there's the incredible 4 steps that had to go right, the right bounce on the miss, the perfect tip, the pass that nobody saw coming, and it was from a freshman!! and of course the shot itself. Those last two parts might deserve 3-4 minutes of a video themselves. This was hands down the best game of the 2018-2019 tournament (so far), between the backstory, Carsen Edwards, and one of the best buzzer beaters in recent memory.
I'm a Knicks fan, but boy did I love watching Iverson play. He was the perfect player for the perfect time, just as the era of big men was dying but the era of perimeter shooting hadn't started. This channel is the best one I've run across in a long time. I do t even like the NBA and not a huge fan of any sport other than baseball. But all these sbnation vids are gold.
Do rewinders for Robert Horry's game winning 3 in game 5 of the 2005 NBA Finals and David Freese's walk off home run in game 6 of the 2011 World Series
They don’t like big shot bob at SB nation
i think horrys game 4 vs the kings in 02 is a better one since it saved a series from ending early rather than going up 3-2 as his shot did in 2005 and no one cares about his spurs days...like 2002 saved a three peat and was so unlikely..2005 was just Rasheed messed up and horry was hot and angry that game...clade tipping to horry makes no sense as kobe and shaq just missed game typing layups lol
This the best break down of a single play ever made.. keep up the good work.
I thought you were going to say Iverson scored 110 points the next game.
That's about what he had to do to carry that team
Same
Watched that moment live with my broski back in the days . We was 13 and 14 years later old never forget that step over though. Get BIG
Odell Beckham Jr's Catch needs some rewinding.
I think it's time to rewind that shot and the block from the 2016 finals. One of the most exciting moments in gm 7
*That* team? The one with the Defensive Player of the Year, 6th Man of the Year, and Coach of the Year? Yea, what a miracle
Yeah without Iversen The only thing that Sixers team would have won is the Draft lottery Mutombo is a above league average player but no real scoring help Aaron McKee is Average at best and was playing good that year but still league average player nevertheless and Larry Brown won the coach of the year thanks to Iversen
Playing 2K... Gotta pause it to watch a new episode of rewinder
Oh I know that feeling lol
that raptors series was one of the most exciting things I remember watching in my youth. it felt like I was watching history unfold before me.
Rewind: Crosby's Golden Goal or Paul Henderson in the Summit Series
Or Mike Eruzione
Ryan McManners Alex Burrows in Game 7 or Nikolai Borchevsky in Game 7
These are the greatest, most informative videos I've ever seen.
Beef History: Milwaukee Bucks vs the NBA in the 2001 Eastern Conference Finals
Thanks SB nation for this video I Love This one Sixers A.I. is The Answer! Thanks for the Rewind!
This one dislike is maybe tyronn lue
The answer. Lakers fan, but you will put some respect on AI's name.
Carry your team and beat a prime shaq/kobe lakers in a finals game?
Love the channel fellas. Like others have mentioned, please put more time into the final moment. We earned it
You should do a series or a rewind about high scoring games like Rangers 30 Orioles 3.
The 2006 AFC Title game between Colts and Pats has needed one of these since the series began.
Ty Calvert yes
The 1980 Olympics "miracle on ice" needs a rewind
By far, the best episode of rewinder
Do the Stephane Matteu 1994 OT goal in game 7 vs the Devils already!
I'm a Knicks fan, but boy did I love watching Iverson play. He was the perfect player for the perfect time, just as the era of big men was dying but the era of perimeter shooting hadn't started. Swing men and guards slashing to the basket through a thicket of arms was so much fun to watch. The most iconic moment for me with AI was him crossing up MJ.
20 years and we are still talking about practice. Practice!
Story telling is really under appreciated.
This was really great!
Anyone else notice that the article at 10:55 was written by the one and only Stephen A. Smith?
Karl Liebknecht He was a longtime newspaper writer in Philadelphia, before getting a job at ESPN. Many of ESPN’s famous commentators, such as Micheal Wilbon, Jemele Hill, Stephen A, and even Skip Bayless got their start in newspapers.
The rewind thing you have going on here is nice. Keep them coming.
Any chance of a video about Sir Donald Bradman please?
michael hall 6th
@@GaTech379 6th what?
Either that or the 2005 Ashes would make for great content.
@@Liam-bu4dt nope, but maybe 2013.
michael hall you were the 6th comment
THIS is the way to fully appreciate that moment.
15:11 I think he did a perfect job impersonating him.
Finally, the one we've all been waiting for.
