the same happened to me but multiple days I saw it as top reccommended and up next and I ignored it but after about 3 or 4 days or ignoring it then it would show back up again randomly and i finally gave in and watched it and it was exactly what i needed to hear praise jesus

Don't think it is the same type of fight. It is like God doesn't care about my heart. It's not about perfecting us to do things like overcome porn. God's power is limited when it comes to free will. He won't make another person fall in love with us. He has hung us out to dry when it comes to meeting a good choice for marriage.

I was watching porn 5 times a day or more for several years. I'm now 28 and I haven't watched porn for over 6 years. Myself and my partner made the decision to wait until marriage in 2015. I'm married with a 3 year old son and free from porn. Thank God! God's word will cut addictions out of your life (Hebrews 4:12)

The way I overcame this sexual repetitive sin was to make a strict plan. This plan consisted of strict rules for myself such as; no t having any electronics on me while in bed except the T.V., no watching shows or movies with sensual dressed women, not talking about my past sexual experiences and praying/repenting of my sin. These rules helped me a lot. Just come up with your own rules and follow them to a T. Don't forgot to pray about it and you should see results as long as you try.
For me, it was when God showed me that angels are all around us, so we have an audience in everything we do. And last but not least, the Holy Spirit

Computers and the internet had a huge effect, to be sure!
Mastur-bation almost destroyed my life, It made me look bad physically but Jesus Christ saved me and He His helping me to recover from the effects of mas-turbation. I've discovered with my walk with Christ that righteousness is better than iniquity and there are always grievous consequences to sin because of my experience with mastur-bation. I now know that when God tells you to do something, it is because He wants your life to be better not worse, His commandments to us are always commandments of love, not pride or boasting. I want you to know that everytime man do things their way, It always ends up in destruction and sorrow, but when man do things God's way, it ends up in Joy, Peace, and more life.
I've started watching since I was less than 10 years old, and when I was almost 12 I quitted and I really didn't watch it anymore. But now I'm 5 months away from being 13 and I have really strong temptations, and yet I came here and this is really what I needed. I know I can win cuz I have won this battle before. Thank you❤️

The greatest weapon of warfare God has given his people for victory is fasting and praying. I am overcoming my sins one by one through fasting and prayer this is what breaks the strongholds in our lives. When we deny self and appetite we automatically begin to deny our passion to continue in sin, but it is not a onetime thing it has to become a lifestyle. Come to God with a contrite spirit, be earnest, fall on your knees, lay prostrate before the Lord he will answer your call and give you the victory and most of all have faith without it it is impossible to please God.

Honestly I’ve struggled all of my life with pornography... it’s literally destroyed my life, my relationship and my mind... This man is not a pastor. He’s a motivational speaker who overcame sexual addiction. Apparently he’s “so” not addicted that he needs his wife to control his online content viewing - to such an extent that it rivals that of parental controls on a child’s device. A grown man has so little self-control that he needs his wife to lock down his device to the point where she needs to put in a password to download an app.
Be he’s not addicted in the least.
It’s a fight individual you can’t win alone you need the lord help it’s okay to run from it it’s better to run from the danger of the temptation. Also they say do t be alone be with friends who can help keep you focus.

I've been struggling for almost 5 years now. I watched this sermon when it was live, and when he started to list the 5 steps at 26:02, I remember bawling my eyes out from how tired I was with this addiction. I started bawling because the only thing I've done was the first one he listed, confessing to God. These past 5 years have been devastating, but not until watching this again today did I realize how far I've actually come in the past 2 years. Here I am now sitting at my desk watching this for the first time since it being live, and once again I'm bawling my eyes out, but this time with tears of joy. When I watched the part where he was listing the 5 steps, I started becoming overwhelmed with thankfulness because I had no idea how far I've actually come with this. I had nostalgia and flashbacks to when I watched this two years ago and remembered how hurt I was. I have been on my way to freedom for the past year by not only confessing to God but confessing to a best friend and removing the triggers, and I am on my way to getting the necessary help. I gave in to temptations again.. went to youtube to get away from what I'd done and scroll knowing I just messed up. I didn't even see the video on the feed as I scrolled but it just popped up. So here I am and ready for change. I know God has got better things in store for me.

I sure hope I'm one of them but to be honest I don't have much hope for success. I've struggled with it since I was 11 and am now 60. I have cried out to God and swore "no more" too many times to count but always get tempted and always give in. Failing 1,001 times with zero success does not make me think this next time will be any different.

That was me, stuck in a cycle where every couple months I would give into it. It was a secret for years, but I confessed to others, and started surrounding myself with people working toward the same things. Its been over a year now, and I believe it is because I confessed to others. It is a Biblical step to repentance that I had missed for years!

I wish the church would start to prepare people for the great deception that’s about to come... governments around the world are getting ready for “disclosure”... where they announce that “aliens” are real... aliens are “real” But are not flesh and blood beings from another planet, they are demonic entities. I was addicted to porn for a long time, I seen videos where people got over their addiction but I didn't have the faith that I ever could stop. I got saved and asks the Lord for forgiveness, I would stop watching for a week then temptation hit me and I'd go right back.
I sat down beside my bed and cried out to God, asking to give me strength throughout this time of temptation. This September will make a year, it was very hard and sometimes I do have lustful thoughts but you have to let the Holy Spirit come in and rebuke the devil everytime, God bless you all!!

Yeah man I use to play minimal once a day and it would go on for years.
It all started when I was a young teenager but I would never touch. When I got a bit older I got addicted to the pleasure and explosiveness and I went too far with it. It was very bad.

This is definitely what I needed to hear. Always feeling like I had something to hide and feeling so broken and ashamed. It was hard to come to terms that all I wanted was true love from the people around me. Something or someone that wouldn’t be able to hurt me but always accept me. The wisdom of God isn't something anybody can have, but generally is definitely something worth listening to! There is no wisdom in worshipping someone who was justifiably executed on a cross due to their actions, and having done that to themselves implies folly!
There is no wisdom involved in being involved with any religion that has evidently been involved with sexual perversion with children, and provably so. The american church has paid out over $4billion to victims of members of the church who cant control themselves where young children are involved, so they should be the last ones advising anyone about pornography! Tasteful pictures are ok, but sex, that being the act of making love, instead of simply the function of sex, with no emotion and meaning, isn't worth knowing about! Of course young men, like young girls are apt to investigate their sexuality, nothing wrong with that! but a relationship is always nicer and much more satisfying than a magazine I would imagine!
