Yes, I have “junk” towels, mostly towels past their prime. Helpful video. I didn’t mind the length. The hot water caused the red to run. Cold water might be better for bright colors. Thanks for posting!

@@newyurrkstopncop1317 yeah I got a volcom hat about a little over a month ago and a few days ago sweat stains came through the surface of the brim and now I’m trying to get them out I tried washing it in the washer with stain removal from lids so see if that works and if not I’ll try this!
My problem occurred after I cleaned it, every time it dries, whether I air dry or put in my dryer, it dries into one big sweat stain, it turns from white to orangeish grrr, and its an all white angels new era hat that was $48.00. So irritated right now
I bought a Ballcap Buddy for my dishwasher and all my flat brim golf hats turn out fine and clean and I use Cascade Platinum pods. Just wash them separately and air dry. Hasn’t ruined one hat. I’m trying a vintage Memphis Grizzlies hat now I found in the Goodwill bins and the white was sweat stained quite a bit. Don’t think it will work. I really didn’t want to grab the hat but wear gloves 😂. Anything can be cleaned and sanitized. If it doesn’t we have a hat cleaner in town that can definitely get it out. Shit I payed 25 cents.

Hey man, you've got a unique talent for witty dead pan humor, you could take it on the road for sure if you're looking for a side gig, without a doubt, so you could start out at a local bar comedy club if nearby and test out some material, but its not easy and you may need a writer of some sort, but maybe not if you can maintain that witty dead pan approach without over thinking it, seriously you could do it if you're so inclined! Ok an update, you sort of look like Woody Harrelson and can tap off that persona for sure and the key that i see is, don't laugh or smile after your schpeil as that's the part that's the funniest affect/impression that i get, sort of a serious humourous dead pan affect! good luck my man, you could really take it on the road, look forward to more stuff!

I get a lot of flack from people about this video, most don’t appreciate my banter and I can understand, to a degree. They’re just trying to find out how to clean their hat and could care less about my commentary. Truthfully, this was the 2nd video I ever uploaded to YT and never thought it would get as much traction as it has. But every once in a blue moon someone like you sees it and can appreciate the approach I took way back when. Idk if I could handle the hecklers from live standup, I’ve hardly been able to take the trolling comments on here. You can see did the stains leave only when the cap is dry. Expecially black caps are very hard to clean so the colours are the same all around that cap.

So I was given this Carhartt hat by someone at school and it has like these light brown stains on it and also on the mesh too and some green ones on the middle part of the hat too, I've been trying to wash it but the stains are tight on right there, I don't think the hat can even be washed from the stain parts.
@@bobbyb396 any idea what stained the hat? You could try using baking soda to help draw out the stain. I have another video on grease stains where I use baking soda and dish soap to get them out. It’s generally not a bad method for any stain that you could maybe also try? Sorry I can’t be more helpful.
