She said that God has filled all the void she had and she doesn’t crave for earthy things anymore. But it doesn’t mean that she should stop liking make up, or cosmetics. It just means that those things don’t define her anymore. Simple as that. Hope that helps
@@itskeke8959 it’s not about the make up! We all know she loves make up n that’s okay.. I mean this is something that I’ve noticed over years now .. she sorta ,kinda likes lux n expensive lifestyle u know… not trying to portray her in any negative/wrong way!
Makeup is her job. She receives a lot of these products as PR and reviewing them for her community is her job that she’s worked and built over the last decade. It’s different from consumerism or materialism that you’re trying to point it as.
Also, she clearly says that she wasn’t always so close to God and this is her journey that she’s begun now and will probably make different choices as she grows. It doesn’t mean she needs to throw away everything that she already has. We need to show a little grace and not be so quick to judge just because she’s on a public platform

Yes, when we are lost in the world we tend to enjoy materialistic things and find pleasure in luxurious living. But once we draw closer to Jesus, we get to know our true identity and find our true purpose. As Jesus slowly begins to reveal more of Himself to us, the worldliness in us starts to fade away. It doesn't happen overnight, it's a process. @@30Aug24todayyy

1. Alcohol is toxic yes, and so are the beauty brands you promote and earn from. Putting toxins on your face is okay??
2. I just find it distasteful that people are okay with capitalism (earning money, buying products everyday, preaching materialism) and preaching that worldly desires are no longer needed?
How can you just call out Netflix for being brutal?
All the makeup brands are only making money because of child labour, mining natural resources from poor countries without paying enough, making margins on the blood and sweat of BTL people and you say Netflix is specialised?
Cinema and arts are also the depiction of society. If the society behaves and improves, so will cinema and arts.
You can make money for survival with meaningful jobs then. Why are you promoting ungodly beauty standards and promoting the already exploitative brands?
Can you guarantee that all the brands follow the same ethos?
Knowing your reality should make you more inclusive and accepting not critical

I don’t know how to express this but this is what I exactly needed to hear. I was just hoping that you don’t stop I just keep listening to you. I have a colleague who says just do your bit and leave everything upto god, guess I couldn’t really understand that because I was always trying to control my life, my goals, perfections. Now that I know my destiny has completely different plans for me, it wants me to suffer. After lot of suffering which is still going on, I only have one way that is to wakeup everyday with a hope and just give in to God. Just to believe and do good. I am a born again myself, gave my life to Christ in 2008 and so could relate to each and every word you said. I am also a new mother of 2 year old baby girl. There was a huge gap that developed between me and God because of the baby responsibilities but then the guilt, the emptiness and the hunger grew and I decided to rededicate my life to Him, get even more closer to Him than before consciously knowing where this world is headed to. I am on the similar journey now to strengthen my bond with Jesus. The Joy and Peace that comes from Him is not found anywhere else! I am so looking forward to watch your vlogs. Stay blessed always! I could relate to each and every word you said regarding what you are feeding your soul. I remember, when I had a baby and I dealt with so many emotions even if my partner was there but not as a support. He also questioned me many times and thats when my relation with god grew stronger coz these worldly relationships can't fulfill you ever. They come with a barter system. If they do something , they want something in return. I was also in the same way couldn't see 4 more shots series coz I was in this zone for quite sometime when everything came back to its place. But what I realised lately that your baby gives you the utmost joy that no one can ever give. They are the best things that can happen to you
