I watched in Florida from around 9 PM to around 1 AM and could not believe how many we saw or the size. Three that were horizon to horizon falls. Tons of fireball flashes as well. Such an amazing shower. I’m hoping to watch again tonight. Thanks for sharing the video especially for people that have never seen a shower. They are magical.
Saw a couple ignite into fireballs as well! Also saw some stars moving super fast while some appeared to take upwards of 5 seconds to make it across the sky. The best part was my mother and I saw 3 different white orbs and one hovered directly over us for roughly 5 seconds! I don't think humans were the only ones enjoying the show! I may add that I was also shining a high powered green laser into the sky during the event lol!
Thank you very much for sharing, just incredible! Alas, here in NYC we cannot see it, but thanks to UA-cam and your kindness we can see it the next best way!
There was this community that arranged a beach for us in Turkey, Bursa to observe Perseid Meteor Shower in 12 august night. There was around 7000 people there. We first saw Starlink passing through in the event and around a hundred meteors. I had my two friends with me and it was one of the best nights of my life. Worst thing about that night was dealing with scarab beetles :D.
Watched last year in Northumberland, amazing. Going to a place near Peebles in the Scottish borders this Sunday and Monday camping to watch it again. Can't wait.
I watched for a couple of hours and saw 10 shooting stars and the first 5 minutes outside, a large fat fireball flow over my head and house and I heard it pass. Was awesome.
I remember being outside with my dad on our porch...front porch. When it is clear skies like it was that night, I love watching the night sky and star-gazing....It is beautiful up there....All of a sudden I caught meteors, few right after the other just like in this video but higher so smaller but still able to see. It was beautiful...Space is incredible, and it is something I have always been fascinated about my entire life. Mother Nature is simply put: Breathtaking.
Thank you so much for sharing. Happy to see those meteors! We couldn't observe the Perseid meteor shower here in Japan. We have a typhoon coming and the sky is covered with dark clouds. I was watching your video, and I observed that other than meteor showers, I think there are some UFO activities. First, I noticed on 12:21~ 12:22.5 sec exactly at the lower left side of the rule of third. There are 2 dots side by side moving in the north direction of the frame. The 2nd one was at 12:28~12:29 right at the center of the frame but it was just a tiny dot moving slowly northward direction of the frame. I tried to check for some more in the previous frames. I saw another on 1:09~1:14 the longest slow-moving star or could be a spaceship moving to the left. It was on the extreme left, middle side of the frame. And many more.. That could just be some of the distant meteors. But the one on 12-21 may not be meteors. Hope you could see them. Thanks once again!
Saw quite a few stunning things Saturday night, saw a few shooting stars and also saw 3 different orbs of white light slowly cruising over my house! Thought I was going crazy until my mom and I saw one together, for about 3 seconds it hovered 10 feet above my house. A small white ball of white light. Some of these "shooting stars" also appeared to be very fast, while some were cruising at airliner speeds. I don't think it was only meteors we saw 🥰
Dudeee my cousins and I watched it in Arkansas, it was so pretty, I’m literally so happy I got to see it in person. Now I’m ready to see the northern lights
Just watched is for 2 hours when it was highest in the sky tonight. I'd say about 50 per hour in my field of view. My GF was looking away a lot and was seeing some

They were much lower in New Orleans, some of them were as slow as airliners. My mother and I saw 3 different white orbs hovering 10 ft above us while watching the sky, I don't think it was only us watching and enjoying!
If your far enough away from light pollution it looks like this every night. Although not 100 per hour more like 30. Plus you can see all the satellites.
Makes you wonder what our early ancestors would have thought when such an event was taking place. Of course they started to believe the stars were gods and sending messages
I just can’t imagine how things turn when it hit our planet. Imagine at that speed, it really wipe out the entire dinosaurs living here a millions years ago.

Sounds amazing. Make sure to watch out for the geminids in December. They'll be even more spectacular

HI! What camera settings and lens you used?
Fireworks 💯
Thanks for sharing, it's amazing! Do you have crickets in Devon?

What camera & settings did you use to capture these?
I watched from Maine. The sky turned to blue fire at night. Was so bizarre
Great. Just like the lunas eclipse some time ago. It's cloudy and a bit of drizzle in near my place
If only people in the city could experience this.
Damn cool
A good year I hope, last night we had clouds, tonight I have 4 cameras out; oa3, gph11, Sony 6300, Canon 50D.
Nice video I was at Joshua Tree last night but I could not quite catch it the way you did. What camera did you use?

Tonight is still supposed to be good…
I'm from Asia. i just saw like 3 of em
Try monday the 14th aug ...tonight is too much cloud ...this shower goes on till 24th of august but not as many shooting stars as this weekend
Dudeee my cousins and I watched it in Arkansas, it was so pretty, I’m literally so happy I got to see it in person. Now I’m ready to see the northern lights
whats that at 1:27 - 1:30 at the center? like it moves, but doesn't look like meteor or plane...
Beautiful! We only caught 3 or 4 then it got cloudy for the rest of the night :(
Which lens used ?

Спасибо вам большое, у нас не было погодных условий, чтобы увидеть эту красоту.
Is there like copper in the meteor or something, because some of them leave a bright green trail behind

How does the i.s.s and the satellites not get damaged with these meteor showers?
Some of these might be satellites if they're not planes. One at 1:22 and one in the middle at 1:28-1:29 when a meteor is on the left-hand side
I am from India and it is unfortunate that i can't see those meteors😢😢
