are you crazy? i even do not give my real name away in Multiplay Computer Games, dont give any information about you, this can be used by professinal scammers, 1.i have running Firewall and VPN 24/7, i deactivate VPN just to watch amazon prime Videos, i DO NOT make any illegal stuff on the internet but VPN is just to secure my private sphere on the internet.
Just received this email today 4-4-2024. Came straight to youtube to see if this was a thing. Cause i don't remember ever getting a subscription with them.
I was searching Norton LifeLock when I found this video because I just got one of those scam emails. Since I've never done business with Norton I have no intention of responding.
They just need a supportive 'friend' to talk to. Someone like me to reassure them that things will get better for them if they buy some work boots and a tool belt with the money they scam out of their next victim. They like the new English words of encouragement that I teach them also, I can tell.
I always call them several times with the number they leave on the invoice. It makes them feel so ashamed and hopeless. I can tell 'cause they always block my number. Too bad for them though, since they will never get the thousands of $$$ I was going to send to them to help with their bills in their S.H. country.
I just received a Norton email as well saying 599 is charged an called the number to enquire about it, it just didn't seem right. Then spoke to someone that barely speak English with an attitude cause I started asking questions.
This happened to me today. Called the number and realized this was a scam. Got the Phishing address from Norton to complain and changed my password at Paypal.
Okay, I just watched or listened to the first and only recording of lifelock!. First they claimed their identity was stolen by simply changing someone else's birthday. But our information is tied to our Birthday and social security numbers so that is an outright lie!!!!
literally just happened to me i was like hold up they trying to tell me they gonna take 680.00 nah I knew it was a scam I even called and they tried to tell some BS like oh let see how we can fix this I told them they were scammers and hung up
We Just had this tried on my wife by getting a email, so tried calling the number with first blocking my number on the phone, got no response, so we called my bank and registered the this scam with them. SO BEWARE THE SCAM IS STILL ACTIVE.
Call today said cc didn’t go thru asked questions inc last 4 sos said could not find my acc I’ve had. Over 10 years asked for password Asian accent think scam very convincing
I could not get a simple account from them they said I couldn't get a simple auto pay they told me that I couldn't get it because I had to have e mail g mail he male she male and female and other things to get insurance and I thought by just simply paying I could be secured that didn't happen and so I told them I guess you just don't want to make any money and hung up on them twice
I have subscribed to Norton for 6 years. I tried to cancel by signing in to my account and cancelling automatic renewal. They renewed it anyway and I was charged $118. I asked for a refund and they said “the internet does not always work so that’s why you need to call us”. The representative would not give me her full (or real) name and said that I cannot speak with her supervisor and I cannot get a refund; however, she pretended to be be nice and helpful by saying that she will cancel my subscription in 2023. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I suggest you do the same. Caveat emptor.
Unfortunately, I think you would be an easy target for scammers as this video isn't even about Norton's practices. It's about scammers pretending to represent Norton.
This just happened to me, I’ve never had this company and when doing research I found this video. Thanks for sharing

@@khinesoelung i already opened the Gmail, is my data safe?
@@azminaufalmuntafa In the email I got, there is nothing else except a PDF file. No link. So they are safe.
@@azminaufalmuntafa I don't think there should be a problem just by opening an email. The email only has PDF file here. No link that baits your data.

Try not to lock your indentity through any organizations because this makes you a volunteer for China hacker attacks.
