Hail Columbia and the Star Spangled banner are both great songs. But this would be a really good anthem as well.

Hail Columbia is much more emotional and moving than the star spangled banner in my opinion

I think that it would have been better that US adopted "Columbia" as its name instead of "America", and also adopted "Hail, Columbia" as its national anthem, cause this truly sounds like the revolution and evokes that spirit.
