    Call 1-800-learn how to ride!!!!
    Put It in gear and ride no need to push where you go..... You looked scared to ride it

    • @MrHarleyoldfart
      @MrHarleyoldfart 7 років тому +17

      Of course he's scared to ride it, those bars are only for posing, not for controlling the bike, also it runs like sack of shit, wonder it started at all.

    • @chopperchopster
      @chopperchopster 3 роки тому +1

      @@MrHarleyoldfart those bars are fine . Lots of us have sky high apes. Also it runs fine but this moron has the idle set way to low. Shovel idles at 1100 RPM if its set up correct

  • @ReneMongeau1
    @ReneMongeau1 5 років тому +2

    Is it the right idle speed of this engine? Does it not make big lubrication problem to the piston pin? That sounds too slow. I am not motorcycles expert.

  • @berryjs140
    @berryjs140 11 років тому +3

    turn that idle up. trying to get it to chug really slow doesnt give it enough oil pressure.

  • @traveller4790
    @traveller4790 5 років тому +4

    And that's what happens when you try to ride an old bike with a carb without letting it warm up first.
    So what's with that seat? Who are you trying to impress? Don't know which looks sillier, that seat or those apes. I love apes, but there is such a thing as apes that are too high and don't look good on the bike, and those are it.

  • @ati1903

    Hallo, schönes bike, habe auch ne 71er Shovel, mit 1600ccm und 100Ps, nur Kickstart, springt nicht besonders an, habe jetzt ne Crane HI4 Zündung reingebaut, und bin noch am abstimmen.Ist ein S&S Super G Vergaser drauf, hoffe das ich sie bald soweit habe. Dein Standgas ist sehr niedrig, so ein Typ im S&S Vergaser Video sagt nicht gut wegen Öldruck im Leerlauf ? Ach ja wo gibt es den Flitterlack für den Helm? Gruß Ed

  • @immoman1
    @immoman1  11 років тому +1

    das freut mich, jede kickt sich anders, manchmal ist die Reihenfolge entscheidend: 2-3 mal lehr ohne Zündung, dann Zündung an... und mit Druck kicken ... Die schwarze Evo aus meinem Kanal habe ich letztes jahr gebaut, habe ewig probiert und mir nen Wolf gekickt, hat nen 42er Mikuni, springt nur mit Choke an, ob kalt oder warm oder heiss, wenn kalt dann immer mit 2x leer Kicken...

      my thoughts exactly

    • @MezzoMixUniversal
      @MezzoMixUniversal 6 років тому

      TheDigitalSinners Well it looked like it was his first start after building, so the carburator isnt tuned like it should be. He didnt rev it, he just tried to not let the engine die... Also, to warm your engine up, you have to ride. Slowly and with low rpm, but thats exactly what he did. Versucht nachzudenken... bevor ihr postet :D

    Why not stay on the bike and start it with the stand down? I see more bikers turn starting their hog into an ordeal when they kill them at stop signs by getting clear off the bike. After 50 years I'll still straddle my Harley.

    hallo,
    standgas bei kalter Maschine, habe dann natürlich immer volle lotte Druck, wenn das Teil heiss ist, wirds logischerweise weniger... auch bei höherer Drehzahl anyway ist Glaugebsfrage, der 1. Gang knallt auch weniger beim reinmachen.... der Helm ist von Builtwell, gibts bei w&w für 120 Ocken...
    100 Ps hört sich mächtig an, wer hat den Motor gemacht?
