I'm not a fan of the bars, if they were just wider but I agree with you it's his bike and I'll bet those bars keep a lot of people from asking to ride it
Freakin nice Dude, wish you guys was closer to Colorado so I could visit yas, will never have the money for one but I would love to chat with ya all, look and listen to the rides.
I saw the spectator seating across the street...haha, bet they've seen a few kicking bikes go out of the hole. Real nice build. Love your stuff thanks man.
The H-D cast-aluminum "mag" wheel and the gaitors look great on the wide glide forks. I remember trying to adapt an old SU carb (from a Brit car) to my Knuck. Thank god for Rivera Engineering for offering SUs that worked well. Ride safe, Todd.
Those bars are what i would call lane splitters and they are great actually. Very comfortable. Way more comfortable and controllable than the usual tall and wide which is very uncomfortable after awhile.
That sound made my day old school anytime there is nice details around the engine the handlebars umm doesnt look good tho its personal choice the rumbling of engine ahh that sound soo 👍 good great work really dig it!
I bought a FXR Low Rider second hand I don't remember the model year, the guy had installed a Mikuni carb, as I'm getting older, I felt it a bit scary to be honest, my friend replaced it with a standard one, he intends to to put the Mikuni on one of his Harleys.
I like that bike , I have an FXR ,86 ... 80 ci evo red with gold undercoat for pin stripe ,it looks orange in sun b/c of gold under coat ... Had to put SnS casing on it it cracked at the base of the barrels ,heard this is common ,no more stock cases to put on ,so S n S it was ...
That's essentially my "dream bike". I recently sold my FXD ... just before HD revealed they were axing the Dyna line :( I've still got my XL though .... we all have different tastes in motorcycles and mine leans heavily toward Sportsters and Dynas.
You obviously was not around in the 70s early 80s , almost everybody had these type of glasses ;) so its part of the REAL old school look bro , SUPER COOL 😀🤓👍
@@HuntingHarleys I have been! I found a 1970 shovel that I was interested in but they want too much for it, plus they want to sell 2 bike and don’t want to split them up. I have no need for 2 bikes and I’m not willing to over pay for something that someone priced based on sentimental value. Sentimental value holds no weight when you try to sell something and a lot of people don’t realize that.
I just bought my forst harley, what I believe to be a 1974 fxe, thats what the previous owner told me, i'm still waiting to get the title from him. The vin on the motor is 9d32sdH4. The local harley dealer said he didn't think its a harley. Any input?
my name is paolo, i'm your subscriber to your you tube channel. you have some beautiful harleys. compmenti ... I have 2 harley shovelhead flh 1980 and a heritage springer 1997

One of the best looking bikes I've seen. Man I love bobbers. Sounds great too.
Nice bike! I really liked that one
This is THE best video series ever!
Gotta love old school, ty for sharing, she's a beauty
Love your channel, so cool to see these old bikes! I'm a youngster at 35 and I just get a big kick out of doing virtual walkthroughs of Harley history

Good to see this video. 2 of my friends had SU carbs, one on a Panhead, the other a Shovelhead.
i dont know how i missed your videos all these years but you mess with the best of bikes man thanks for posting them all up
That's a sick bike those bars are perfect for lane splitting
Everybody bitching about the bars well that's why you own your own bike so you can do what suits you ......sweet bike I dig it!!!
I love it!!! Its a gorgeous beast
Ain’t a big fan of the bars but I respect what you said in your comment as well. Everyone has their own tastes. Can’t hate.
They mad they don't know how to lane split and aren't allowed to anyway in their flyover states. 😂
I'm not a fan of the bars, if they were just wider but I agree with you it's his bike and I'll bet those bars keep a lot of people from asking to ride it
‘Lane Splitter’ bars.
Best looking bike I've ever seen.
beautiful bike and I like the handle bars. It's what makes her unique.
This is awesome, I've always loved Harleys and bobbers. An older guy I knew at my gym years ago had a 66, stock, but I don't remember the model.
one of the best running shovel's I have ever had and I have had more then nearly anyone alive
Awesome build, sir. I'm from the Bay Area...How much would something like this cost to have made? Thank you~
@@electriclordzoffuzzfx5858 funner to make yourself
Why was such a good running machine? The ignition or carbs or tuning?
Love the levers. Sounds awesome.
This is what was missing during the resurgence of choppers in the late 90’s into OCC days. A real daily rider bad ass chopper. Love it!,
Forget about all the new bikes on the road today, this is where its at!!
Freakin nice Dude, wish you guys was closer to Colorado so I could visit yas, will never have the money for one but I would love to chat with ya all, look and listen to the rides.
Damn, what a sound!
Beautiful Machine.
Nice ole school bike. I bet this guy knows his stuff. Cool vid
Awesome look and sound...... it’s a 10

Awesome !! Like your overall look & personality sir...offcourse your bike too .
Of all his bikes that he has shown this one is my favorite
Man I did not understand a single word coming out of yours.
But thanks for the loud bike, sounds perfect.
That's the ultimate around town weekend warrior bike, I'd love to have it as a 2nd. Toy in my carport
this bike is one of my favorites
This is so cool. Great video
Those bars are what i would call lane splitters and they are great actually. Very comfortable. Way more comfortable and controllable than the usual tall and wide which is very uncomfortable after awhile.
I love it it’s my favorite bike by far
I want one of those ..never driving one but would love one
I LOVE the look of a bare bones bobber or a custom sportster but the touring line road king, streetglide style bikes got me spoiled.
I like the handlebars. You could Lane split between anything with those.
Hello to you and thanks for reading the comments about the handlebar
Agreed! Those handles are perfect! Nice bike!
I love the handle bars! I like the lane splitting look and a feel like I have better control of the bike with bars like that.
I love that bike!!!!
Very VERY nice well done video !! Thank you x sharing !

I seriously want those bars... Sick af!!
Great sound to that bike man
If you stop some time in Wisconsin I’ll buy the first one , nice bike ese !
amazing how many HD dealer's don't have a clue about anything not new on the floor. Then again, I don't have a clue about new stuff for sale!!
HuntingHarleys I really like those bars. Was that just a one off custom at one point or are they a big manufacturer? They look comfortable.
Shovels sound so good with bologna cut pipes..had a 84 with the S&S carb bored out 90 over. Music to my ears...
love the sound of it!
Man that shovel sounds good
Good job. Nice bike.
This bike is perfect, love that a lot 😍😎🤙
I like this one. Nice. Nice video's, Todd.

So cool!!! Gongrats!
Tumbs up from Biker's Garage 101
Certainly sounds authentic...I might like my bars a little lower and wider but cool bike for sure.
I like the gaitors and the H-D cast 19" wheel on the wide glide fork.
Sounds sweet!
Once seen twisted double looped handlebars on a Harley this ain’t that bad man its cool
I like this look of u Todd... You kinda look like David Mann
dayyyyum... fine strong sounding bike
Those bars are sick
Sweet ride 👌🏻, cheers
You're a good rider, that's obvious to my old eyes...
Beautiful bike bro 👍
Love this bike !!
Back in the day we called these choppers!
Irregardles, it's a very nice sled!
I like those handlebars
That's loud .. and awsome
His sunglasses are wider than the handlebar.
Gaabinubat Rafinulifilit Agreed! Lmao
😆
Those are just regular glasses with foam bumpers to stop the air from hitting his eyes
You obviously was not around in the 70s early 80s , almost everybody had these type of glasses ;) so its part of the REAL old school look bro , SUPER COOL 😀🤓👍
Wonderful!
Where I am from we would say 'kak zef' look it up. Nice so nice!! This guy LOOKS like his bike much respect
Sounds amazing!!!:-) You are lucky men!!
Cool looking bike dude, I have heard the term Rat Bobber not sure what it meant though. I;m very satisfied with my 91 Sporty though.
Nice, Not crazy about narrow bars, but other than the personal preferences the bike is tight.
real nice bike
BADASSERY ON POINT! greets from Argentina🚀
Sweet ride
I need one! I’m trying to find an old Harley that I can turn into something like this, still hunting for the right one for the right price.
Watch Craigslist

That's the daddy right by there, though I'd change the bars. :)
CountryHouseGent Yeah, I'd hang 'em higher, myself. Also foot clutch and jockey shift: old school all the way, amigos! 😎
Harry Potter bars.
Sound is so nice
This thing sounds bad ass.
That is one Sweet Pony
Looking badass af
Nice bike!

If you want a bobber then Bob on this. The new bikes are so much better.
