As soon as I saw the mods in the patch notes, I input all the data on my calculator while the game was still in maintenance and oh my god I knew this was gonna be nuts. I already had these builds worked out before the maintenance even finished, but I knew I needed for prioritize freyna and bunny first as they are way more popular, but I'm glad we're able to give better builds for our two homebois here, they're awesome.
Been running an Esiemo without the tech modules (replaced with range) and a tech/cooldown reactor. Never even occured to me to have a seperate reactor for colossi... Something like this is a killer in 400%ers as well, dealing 1.8 to 3+ mill in a 23m radius and a 4 sec cooldown.
I've been holding back on investing time & resources into non ultiimate characters. But seems like I'm going to have to give some love to Kyle, Esiemo & Hailey
They keep buffing because nobody plays them and they obviously only look at popularity statistics. Since release I haven't seen ONE Kyle yet ANYWHERE... not even in Albion x)
As Gley has no crit stat (base of 5%) and the shift to many using Gun Gley with Executioner, I wonder if there is a comeback for the use of Massacre Gley. Massacre is a HUGE damage additive to the gun that is firing and generally never crits (even in the older builds you didn't build it for crit). How much will we be able to buff Massacre now (and still have HP to not die, still want to do more content than solo bossing....). Same with the Python itself. It has no real Crit Rate either and now we have new gun mods that super buff Firearm ATK and remove crit, just like the descendant mods. As the Python is still dealing good damage (about 30% of the total output while 60% or so is from the Massacre and 10% from extra elements and the like...). On Valby, she has Crit, but only so much crit. Well, we have new mods for Crit users too. Both for guns and descendants. They offer half the Skill Power/Modifiers as the negative crit ones, but then offer Crit Stats to go along with those. While the gun ones offer half the Firearm ATK, but offer more Crit Stats there too. Many love to use Valby as a weapon platform for things like Enduring Legacy and Greg's to give them high Crit Rate. As well of course Valby being used with her DoT's and its high damage output, different from Freyna, but can still spread well and it can crit..... Vash, you up for making detailed build videos for these 4 things?

Both her Massacre and AoE Mobbing Massive Sanguification builds should greatly benefit from the 0-Crit mods. Not sure if Massacre will compete with Executor Gun Gley after all that though. That needs math. Valby of course is normally pure Crit based because of Supply Moisture... Though without Supply Moisture, she's also a character with only 5% base Crit Rate. Meaning that she could also be built as a 0-Crit character using any of her other Mods. Maybe that will make some of her other mod builds viable and break the "only use Supply Moisture" on Valby (outside of her Spiral on Gluttony to bypass the mechanic...).
@@blackkat101 The problem with the new mods on Massacre Gley that I'm seeing is that at the end of the day she still needs a ton of duration and cooldown mods to loop her 3rd to actually use it and I'm not sure were in a current build you would get the new ones without fucking that loop up.
Kyle is a literal carry on death stalker, overwhelming shield is too good on him and don’t use any trans mod. you’re essentially immortal as long you keep poppin your skill 3. constantly pop your skill 4 and you’ll be dropping 6 to 7 million damage every 10 to 15 seconds.
im curious about lepic, he is extremely strong in 400% right now. with 4 rutile mods and max cooldown, he essentially has 100% uptime on his 27 meter traction nade and only 15 second cooldown on his ult. but this leaves only 2 or 3 mods. torn between 2 crit and mp collector or the two new non crit mods. they both feel fine but math wins at the end of the day and it is very hard to test with his dot and hundreds of numbers on screen. also esiemo insta killing a boss with only white numbers looks cursed af. like the game is hacked or something
crit only wins on lepic when using all 4 mods, and assuming the target has less than 53-54% crit resist(on bosses with more than that, you're better running critless instead). If you're in a mobbing scenario and are not using all 4 crits, then the new mods are going to win hands down.
Kinda unrelated but does anyone know if Hailey's transcendent mod for her 4th is actually worth using? Also as a dumb follow up question but how bad of an idea is zero crit Hailey?
With this new update and new mods, would you think it would be better to take off 4 crit mods for Lepic and put in fire amp, tech amp, and have 2 open slots for personal preference?
it's more dmg, and it's more meaningful across the spread of his timebombs since they're the lowest on him. The diff between 9 and 10 is still a significant difference

I won't be revisiting any other builds after this vid without a new update again with new changes and/or mods. I could be wrong on this when I say it, because I haven't explicitly tested it or looked over the numbers, but I'm pretty sure the big crit people like hailey just keep doin what they were doin and this doesn't change anything for them. Going forward I'm switching back to working out new characters again, probably once a week but we'll see.
Can i bring this Kyle build into 400% just to delete the bosses, there is plenty of frenyas and bunnys out there that can mob then it takes us 10 years to kill the boss
So long as you are confident in your team's ability to nuke all the mobs for you throughout the entire dungeon right up until the boss. The kyle build is catered to bosses specifically, mobs will spank you if you go into a 400% alone using it.
