This is a late comment and I'm not even sure if anyone will see this, but for the bossing build, running Hp Conversion is actually a net loss in comparison to running Increased HP. It sounds contradictive to run Increased HP with a 1HP build, but running Increased HP with Overwhelming Shield is a higher net gain for max shield than running Hp Conversion, since Overwhelming Shield grants more shield the higher theoretical max HP you would have, so if you lower your max hp with HP Conversion, you're lowering your max shield output from Overwhelming Shield. Incredible video and maths all the same, though!
I was thinking like you first, but that only true if you wear 4 HP external component, witch is not the case in the video he is using the slayer set and he is right Hp conversion is better in this case. ( i just test it)

Looking forward to optimizing my Freyna to be the murder machine I always knew she could be. Also, i feel incredibly validated about the crit take. Kept wondering why everyone was sucking it off when it took SO MUCH to make it work.
@@Hagosha It's not fun for the Bunny's who can't see anything and get stuck in a circle of mobs at 5 frames per second because their entire screen is green 🤣 seriously though, I can't wait until my ult freyna is finished crafting, I just do hope Nexon addresses the performance issues caused by freyna. The visual effects were clearly developed/created well before the skills were buffed to be activating that frequently.
@2oe.9 max out range, a little extra power and in the 400%'s, you dont need contagion so your other DoTs can supplement your damage. Before I bought my ult freyna, I did 136 million in one run with a 0 catalyst/no reactor build. It's insanely strong
You didn't mention it, but Freyna actually has an unlisted passive skill that is applied during Dungeons: +50% Damage to FPS. This unique stat is also applied to everyone else in the group as well, and the effect is doubled in the new 400% variant.
*Sigh* .... I'd love to play TFD ... but it runs worse than Remnant 2 on my PC ... and I haven't the foggiest idea how they think this is a 'good idea' ... Warframe at least runs across a lot of PC's ... TFD feels like you need a $10k cost PC to run it smoothly.... Unless there's a secret to the game settings?
8:14 The enemy doesn't need to die to the toxin effect, it just needs to die while inflicted by it. This is most hilarious when you toss out Putrid Venom (your largest area puddle) into a big group, and then have a Bunny run through. Turn the whole map green, baby!

Great vid, but one thing I will point out is the Overwhelming Shield mod actually scales off of your max HP, so instead of doing HP Conversion Shield, just using a HP boosting mode like Increased HP will give you more shield. with my set up I was getting 6125 with the three mods you suggested, but switching in Increased HP bumped me up to 8865

I dont understand math or numbers at all. They confuse the hell outta me (i gotta learning disability in math sadly) so when i saw the larger number in terms of crit vs non-crit i was like ":o! Show me the shiny build!" Im glad you are going through all this because the more the nerds know about the math the more people like me will be given better information on which direction we should go with our builds.
The new crit mods allow me to have fun with Valby's other transcendent modules like Hydro Pressure Bomb, as well as making Esiemo have more consistent damage. Not having to worry about crit changes everything

I was just about to go optimize my boss build today after finishing my Injection build. Impeccable timing as always. Time to go farm the new mods. Glad these ones aren’t “combine only” like some of the new ones.
I was considering this exact build for mine when I saw the new modules. Always felt the crit situation was ok, but lacking and the changes make it incredible
On the boss build, stun accelerant gives you more shield than hp conversion shield does. And it synergizes well distorted components set which when current hp is 1 u get 14.3% toxic skill power
For anyone thinking they are crazy, (like I did) looking for Toxic Integration Apparently the name was changed.. is changed... maybe its a localization thing.. no idea. In game (for me) it is, Toxic Intensive But patch notes call it out as the name listed in the video. Anyway, thanks for doing to math on this stuff so we don't have to!
@ 3:42 An important thing to note is that SPS will NEVER proc on Secret Garden (or Tactical Rifles in general) even if you have Change Firing Mode set to ON in your settings. This can be verified in the lab and should be taken into account if you're planning on running it as a main firearm (for any Descendant). You'll essentially be running a dead mod whenever you don't have a Unique Weapon on which is enough of a drawback for me not to run it personally. Everything dies anyway so you're much better off either saving the catalyst slot or running a non conditional damage increase mod in its place.

Using the blue mod Power Increase instead of focus on toxic results in more damage due to it giving a blanket skill power increase, which is less effected by dimishing returns than stacking just toxic skill power.
Oh boy... I see farming new catalysts in my future... so many builds will change. I remember the devs saying that the players were kind of shoehorned into crit builds, and that they wanted an alternative. I guess this is it.
was waiting for the mobbing build to see how close we ended up, exact match, lovely build on these new 400% dungeons, bit rough on my laptop but makes em very quick also good pick up on the secret garden buff turning off for baptism, just kind of assumed it stayed on, probably gonna stick with that anyway just for buffing her mobbing regardless the new health draining mod kinda looked a bit spooky to me but i haven't tried actually using it yet (untouched virgin shield mods), good demo of it

"Focus on Tech" and "Focus on Toxin" are worse compared to just using "Maximize Skill" and "Maximize Power" or even "Toxic/Tech Specialist". for a One-Shot-Build. You can ignore the 100% Extra CD, from the 50% each, and get better numbers.
Was looking for this comment. Those are the mods I use. I figured he would have them in his boss build too since he is all about the buckets (damage maths)
the new distorted resolve set increases toxic power by 14.3 when your hp is at 1, this applied with overwhelming shield is a massive increase (4set buff). This set also lowers colossus dmg by 2.5% for 30 seconds when exaltation hits the boss (exaltation is granted by destroying boss parts - 5stacks per part and each stack does toxic dmg equivalent to 9.7% of skill power) this could potentially be better than the slayer set. 2 set buff is 5.6% attack to assault rifles and submachine guns, which is perfect for python and fallen hope (if u can actually make it a good gun).
we already have loads of toxic power ratio though, slayer gives base ratio which we have very, very few sources of. In terms of adjacent multipliers, a boost to Base is more valuable than toxic, so based off what you're sayin I doubt it would actually be better.

Thanks for putting this together. I notice on the bossing build that I typically have ~8-9 bullets left when using a fully built secret garden w/ gold ammo option. Would battle of stamina (HP/Duration) be a better option over spear and shield? EDIT: I did some initial testing in the lab, and saw battle of stamina pulling 8.5% less damage, but with 8-9 more bullets being fired (out of an 89 clip size). It seems like its definitely better to keep spear and shield on to get damage out faster, since the overall damage would be about the same. I may still work in battle of stamina over increase shield for certain bosses that have a tight single-phase window.
Ever since the final release of the game the thought of building crit never sat right with me. With all 4 crit mods that's like 15% crit rate which just felt worth it imo. But I guess before this update people were doing anything they could to squeeze out damage.
When I enter as Ultimate Freyna into the dungeons or do the survival waves at Sterile Lands, for example, any bunny characters in the group (whether basic or ultimate version at any level) either immediately quit or leave midway. I'm just trying to win and get the rewards. The builds in this video guarantee that success.
what i learned from the new update is to not play with freyna while doing the new 400% dungeon, the moment she pop the poison my game crashed my fps went from 100 down to 5fps in an instant
Very nice video man, just one thing: Wouldnt it be better Firing Fiesta instead of Sharp PS, since sharp PS doesn't give you more dps, just fire rate, and the firearm attack is not transported to the baptism weapon (just checked it on laboratory). On the other hand of the 3 seconds of firing fiesta since you gotta reload before activating venom baptism, you only use 2 seconds, but in those 2 seconds you shoot around 22 more free bullets. Only downside of firing fiesta is that you might need a skill duration mod or you may not be able to shoot all the mag.
I was able to get a 5 second executioner, 8sec dead bride, 6s devourer, 6s pyro with crit Freyna and none of the new mods. I can't wait to get her ultimate version. With the ult mod, and these new mods. It's about to be a blood bath when I'm done baking ult freyna. I'm using Colossus/Tech reactor. I built my Freyna for bossing exactly how Vash built his Lepic.
My question is, any maybe I'll answer it by asking. Why use focus on tech/toxic when tech/toxic specialist squeeze out a bit more damage. Is it because when not fighting Solo bosses, you'd want the cooldowns from Focus on Tech/Toxic and the extra damage from the specialists isn't worth recataylzing when switching builds? EDIT: The slots for both of those are actually the same. So yeah, why not use the specialists mods for the solo boss builds?
hailey has between 90 and 100% crit on most bosses tho if built correctly and fully, yes taking boss crit resistance into account. so idk about that "hurt when you miss a crit", just need enough crit lol

I have a question, a month later lol, but isnt power increase more damage gain than using focus on toxic as it adds a whole other multiplier to the equation? Ive seen others say to use it for that reason and they "show" proof with math and spreadsheets...
Why are we using the focus mods that have lower value than the blue ones? Since we're ulting once we don't really need that cooldown, or am I missing something?
Between moxy and the other content creators this shit is becoming way to confusing, so many different opinions, farming mods takes way to long to experiment for yourself.
I apologize if maybe there is something i'm missing, but have you messed around with Power Increase? Battle slot, I think it's initial patch notes description was Skill Power Modifier, but it's actually Skill Power.. Substitute the Focus on toxic, and it seems to do substantially more damage since it's in a different bucket (Terms I got from this channel btw).

Question, with base Skill Power being a separate multiplier, would Power Increase be better now than Toxic Amp? For mobbing at least, since Dangerous Ambush seems to be base Skill Power as well
Probably only for Death Stalker. He has some interesting mechanics where shield builds are better. Other than that i suppose not worth it. Tested Freyna all night. Gluttony Walker and Fortress destroy shields pretty quickly. And 3 mods needed to get 7k shields, where 3 hp mods net you 20k hp. That's what I've tested so far. Possible, but not worth it.
@@AngryHatt Kinda unrelated to the comment but have you experienced your descendants HP changing week to week? Just asking since you mentioned 3 HP mods giving 20K HP which my Gley seems to have some weeks but then only 16k other weeks without me changing anything.

I was curious if the Power Increase mod might be better than the standard Toxic battle mod when using Toxic Amplification, but I guess the Slayer set covers raw Skill Power enough.
The fact those two mods are categorized as luck and strike actually caught me off guard. I thought they were alternatives to the battle and attack mods. Good thing I didn’t fully catalyzed her yet, I need to farm those mods asap. I’m curious if whether or not those skills would be good for bunny since her crit chance is also low. Tbh any descendant outside of Hailey might benefit from these mods more than crit stacking. Most don’t even go past 10% except for Viessa I believe if we are not including Hailey. Pretty big game changers.
It's certainly nice for Bunny to only dedicate one more mod towards damage for a comfy build instead of needing crit. Bear in mind it may be beneficial to run Power Increase for your Battle mod instead of stacking even more electric skill power.

So many things about the 1st bossing build are just poorly thought out or contradictory. You say that the build is for 1 shotting the boss, but you run focus on tech/toxic when you don't care about the CD if you're going for a 1 shot build. Just slot in tech and toxic specialist. The HP Conversion mod is just strictly worse than an HP mod since you're running overwhelming shield. (Difference for me is about 2k shield points)
Unpopular opinion, but when solo bossing you can save a lot of effort and resources by not having any hp, def mods. Burst down with 4, then purposely die. When you revive you have full MP and your ability refreshes so you can spam your four straight away. Essentially dyings a win and saves a ton of time.
What about Stim accel vs hp conversion. You get more shield and since its a boss build the mp lost isn't that detrimental. Or not that worried about it cuz shields are regenerating so fast it doesn't matter? Was also thinking about this in terms of gluttony/death stalker and future bosses since having more shields with stim would be a better safety net?
secret gardens uniq ability wont work on her 4. ability right? so it might be ok to get a new fresh one, instead rerolling my 4x ult SG to mag size for a 4. ability bosser?

Something to check if you didn't notice, with contagion range is at 6 meters. Without contagion your range is at 7 by default
You can increase range of puddles to 8m so it's not a real big issue tbh

Honestly. This man is the only I trust with builds. His math maths and he actually knows what he's talking about.
the new distorted resolve set increases toxic power by 14.3 when your hp is at 1, this applied with overwhelming shield is a massive increase (4set buff). This set also lowers colossus dmg by 2.5% for 30 seconds when exaltation hits the boss (exaltation is granted by destroying boss parts - 5stacks per part and each stack does toxic dmg equivalent to 9.7% of skill power) this could potentially be better than the slayer set. 2 set buff is 5.6% attack to assault rifles and submachine guns, which is perfect for python and fallen hope (if u can actually make it a good gun).
we already have loads of toxic power ratio though, slayer gives base ratio which we have very, very few sources of. In terms of adjacent multipliers, a boost to Base is more valuable than toxic, so based off what you're sayin I doubt it would actually be better.
Freyna is just fishing for compliments with those fishnets ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Thanks for putting this together. I notice on the bossing build that I typically have ~8-9 bullets left when using a fully built secret garden w/ gold ammo option. Would battle of stamina (HP/Duration) be a better option over spear and shield?
EDIT: I did some initial testing in the lab, and saw battle of stamina pulling 8.5% less damage, but with 8-9 more bullets being fired (out of an 89 clip size). It seems like its definitely better to keep spear and shield on to get damage out faster, since the overall damage would be about the same. I may still work in battle of stamina over increase shield for certain bosses that have a tight single-phase window.
Ever since the final release of the game the thought of building crit never sat right with me. With all 4 crit mods that's like 15% crit rate which just felt worth it imo. But I guess before this update people were doing anything they could to squeeze out damage.
When I enter as Ultimate Freyna into the dungeons or do the survival waves at Sterile Lands, for example, any bunny characters in the group (whether basic or ultimate version at any level) either immediately quit or leave midway.
I'm just trying to win and get the rewards.
The builds in this video guarantee that success.

what i learned from the new update is to not play with freyna while doing the new 400% dungeon, the moment she pop the poison my game crashed my fps went from 100 down to 5fps in an instant

Wouldnt it be better Firing Fiesta instead of Sharp PS, since sharp PS doesn't give you more dps, just fire rate, and the firearm attack is not transported to the baptism weapon (just checked it on laboratory).
On the other hand of the 3 seconds of firing fiesta since you gotta reload before activating venom baptism, you only use 2 seconds, but in those 2 seconds you shoot around 22 more free bullets.
Only downside of firing fiesta is that you might need a skill duration mod or you may not be able to shoot all the mag.
SPS is used for buffing her 4, and the weapon it's on is used basically as a stat stick.
I was able to get a 5 second executioner, 8sec dead bride, 6s devourer, 6s pyro with crit Freyna and none of the new mods.
I can't wait to get her ultimate version. With the ult mod, and these new mods. It's about to be a blood bath when I'm done baking ult freyna.
I'm using Colossus/Tech reactor. I built my Freyna for bossing exactly how Vash built his Lepic.
My question is, any maybe I'll answer it by asking. Why use focus on tech/toxic when tech/toxic specialist squeeze out a bit more damage. Is it because when not fighting Solo bosses, you'd want the cooldowns from Focus on Tech/Toxic and the extra damage from the specialists isn't worth recataylzing when switching builds?
EDIT: The slots for both of those are actually the same. So yeah, why not use the specialists mods for the solo boss builds?

hailey has between 90 and 100% crit on most bosses tho if built correctly and fully, yes taking boss crit resistance into account. so idk about that "hurt when you miss a crit", just need enough crit lol

I have a question, a month later lol, but isnt power increase more damage gain than using focus on toxic as it adds a whole other multiplier to the equation? Ive seen others say to use it for that reason and they "show" proof with math and spreadsheets...
Why are we using the focus mods that have lower value than the blue ones? Since we're ulting once we don't really need that cooldown, or am I missing something?
Between moxy and the other content creators this shit is becoming way to confusing, so many different opinions, farming mods takes way to long to experiment for yourself.

I apologize if maybe there is something i'm missing, but have you messed around with Power Increase? Battle slot, I think it's initial patch notes description was Skill Power Modifier, but it's actually Skill Power.. Substitute the Focus on toxic, and it seems to do substantially more damage since it's in a different bucket (Terms I got from this channel btw).

Is it not possible/ not worth to spec more into shields for harder bosses/ group play and keep venom injection?
Probably only for Death Stalker. He has some interesting mechanics where shield builds are better. Other than that i suppose not worth it. Tested Freyna all night. Gluttony Walker and Fortress destroy shields pretty quickly. And 3 mods needed to get 7k shields, where 3 hp mods net you 20k hp. That's what I've tested so far. Possible, but not worth it.

Just asking since you mentioned 3 HP mods giving 20K HP which my Gley seems to have some weeks but then only 16k other weeks without me changing anything.

The fact those two mods are categorized as luck and strike actually caught me off guard. I thought they were alternatives to the battle and attack mods. Good thing I didn’t fully catalyzed her yet, I need to farm those mods asap. I’m curious if whether or not those skills would be good for bunny since her crit chance is also low. Tbh any descendant outside of Hailey might benefit from these mods more than crit stacking. Most don’t even go past 10% except for Viessa I believe if we are not including Hailey. Pretty big game changers.
It's certainly nice for Bunny to only dedicate one more mod towards damage for a comfy build instead of needing crit. Bear in mind it may be beneficial to run Power Increase for your Battle mod instead of stacking even more electric skill power.

So many things about the 1st bossing build are just poorly thought out or contradictory. You say that the build is for 1 shotting the boss, but you run focus on tech/toxic when you don't care about the CD if you're going for a 1 shot build. Just slot in tech and toxic specialist. The HP Conversion mod is just strictly worse than an HP mod since you're running overwhelming shield. (Difference for me is about 2k shield points)

Unpopular opinion, but when solo bossing you can save a lot of effort and resources by not having any hp, def mods.
Burst down with 4, then purposely die.
When you revive you have full MP and your ability refreshes so you can spam your four straight away.
Essentially dyings a win and saves a ton of time.
What about Stim accel vs hp conversion. You get more shield and since its a boss build the mp lost isn't that detrimental. Or not that worried about it cuz shields are regenerating so fast it doesn't matter? Was also thinking about this in terms of gluttony/death stalker and future bosses since having more shields with stim would be a better safety net?
secret gardens uniq ability wont work on her 4. ability right? so it might be ok to get a new fresh one, instead rerolling my 4x ult SG to mag size for a 4. ability bosser?
