And can you please clarify whether a person with a science degree but no prior teaching experience is eligible to apply for teaching positions?

You need Bachelors in education dear or Masters in your teaching subject

Hi for applying you should have a teaching qualification like bachelor in education or masters in sci,maths or languages 😊
