Just had the Halo delivered today but with hard wire kit too. In the first instance I’ve got it connected via the cigarette lighter just to get the feel of the operation before I pluck up some courage to get into the fuse box!! Shame your guide didn’t include this as I could do with the help. Never the less I’ve picked up some other good ideas and tips from you. NB the dash cam can be removed from the mount to access the sd card provided you have a small amount of play on the wires otherwise your putting pressure on the power port which is rather delicate and looks easy to damage. I ran all cables through, installed app and connected front camera to set up. Rear camera wasn't showing up on app after been connected. Uninstalled and reinstall app. Now all working fine. Make sure to connect both cameras before installing the app, then place them in position.
got the halo ultima from Costco on instore offer for £155 which seems damn cheap. I’ve had thinkware dashcams installed professionally in my other cars which are brilliant. Used to have Blackview cameras which are rubbish as they interfere with dab radio. Thinkware make the best dash cams but I’ll give the road angel a go as it’s slot cheaper than thinkware. I’ll install it myself.
Hello i have a question. I have a dascam which is hard wired but the only issue i have is the dashcam doesnt have wifi or any wireless access to its menu to configure the dates or time. It only has a sd card and reset button. It ia connected to a 8pin dashcam cable. How do i get access to the camera menu. I remember the electrican he went directly to the fuse box and connected the dashcam to his little tv monitor to live view ans configure dates. Any other way ? Thanks

Then buy it from Salford online or store. If someone buy this camera and when giving option saying people also bought this £25 but if you add to basket and when making payment it’s free. I received free when bought with camera

Hi can you tell me the disadvantages compared to nextbase? Why would you prefer nextbase over this (road angel pro) ?
Make sure you place the rear camera in the position at the beginning of this video as you can’t flip it after on the app 👍

If it turns off with the ignition like it should then you may have a faulty camera, contact your retailer for support.

Check the Garmin or Kenwood cameras out.
