I have used mine three times this summer motorbike camping and have found it to be really good. Its nice to be able to stand up in the porch area and get dressed etc. The only thing i did was buy better pegs for the main guy lines. I pitch mine with the inner already installed, it just makes it a bit quicker.
@@paulbennett6933 yes I agree, I didn’t like the pegs, I would change them too, I also left the inner tent in as it’s pointless in taking them out, I think the tent is a good design x
The little short poles that keep the porch in shape will rub on the big pole sleeves when it's windy and it'll rub a hole in the pole sleeve. Put a bit of foam in between the pole and pole sleeve. Spacious tent for the weight though!
I have one of these and I find it's OK on nice level ground but on uneven ground, like at a festival, it makes big gaps under the outer tent allowing rain and wind to get in. Because of the design it's impossible to tension the sides enough on that front area so they flap a lot in the wind. For me, it would have been a lot better with a fully sewn in groundsheet. I've only used mine twice and it's now just sitting in a cupboard collecting dust. I just use a Wild Country Helm 2 now with a toilet tent as a changing/dressing room.
