NOTE: Here's a response from Cooking Pal about my measuring cup confusion 😆"The container in the lid, is a measuring cup. The CookingPal has truly tried to ensure all you need is the Multo and what it comes with to prepare your meals."
So I should have taken out the clear cap in the middle of the lid (that doubles as a measuring cup!) while sauteing. It all makes sense now!
Please plan on doing a revisit in a month. How many times per day did you use it? Will you no longer use other appliances you have? Would you invest in it if you did not get it for review? Can you add your own recipes?
If you do not have internet is it still useable?
All really great questions.
OMG! You did a SUPERB video of a machine of the "Future"! THANK you so much for the excellent demonstration! You are such an EXCELLENT instructor.👋👍
🥰🥰🥰
This.. might be great for people with limited mobility and looks actually fun. Would like to see how it works with something other than soup. Thank you for testing this. I'm intrigued.
Wow, that is so cool. A little complicated and high tech for my cooking needs. I am an Instant Pot and Air Fryer cook. Add my ingredients and press go. Great video Nili. Looking forward to seeing what other recipes it can make.
I have a Thermomix and it is a “copy” of it. The thermomix is a very good device BUT to much expensive for what it does. It works for someone who just cooks and nothing else.
I bought an instant pot later and I use it all the time. It is much more cheaper!!! And works perfect for me because I have a problem with my thermomix (my cat pee on it 😔) and now it doesn’t work properly. So the cost of repairing it is what I spent on my instant pot, another thing is that you loose everything if it doesn’t work.
I would never bought it again, and it is exactly the same.
Sorry for my English, I am not a native speaker and I have to go.
And it sounds HORRIBLE.
@@Storge. I know and I love him but it cost me a fortune 😅
I love my Thermomix because I don't like to cook but it cuts down on a lot of extra work like measuring out ingredients...Just add and let Thermomix measure😉
@@charmayneroberson5143 yes and if it breaks you won’t have nothing, not measuring nothing, not cooking nothing, nothing works. That is what I am saying. To much money for stop working everything.
The cat has judged it! Jaja!
How does a cat pee on a thermomix?? That makes no sense.
You did a great job with this as your first run. I'd be interested in seeing what else you do with it (or what IT does for YOU! 😉) once you get over the initial learning curve. Thanks for sharing this with us, Nili. 😊
I don’t think this is the next revolution in our kitchens but it is an interesting invention.
Thanks for your honest review.
It’s interesting that the equipment is like a one-man-band . Maybe this works for persons that don’t have too much space for different gadgets and need to have all the instructions.
This looks similar to my Thermomix TM6. The Thermomix has the recipe and function screen built into the front of the unit.
Very cool!!! What a fun appliance to try! So excited to see what you continue to think of this
It’s looks AMASSING , Thank you Indigo Nili
for the video and a such great informative info tips !
For a 1000 bucks it better do a whole lot more than cook. It better clean dishes and scrub my bathroom. J/S
🤣🤣 well said Jade Grant, I knew it was going to be expensive when she pulled out the tablet, but I never dreamed it would be $1000
Great job!! And this is very unique!! I cant wait to see what you make next💖
Really cool!!! Such a great gift for a young couple that is just starting out & needs appliances & possibly cooking tips 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You did an excellent job of demonstrating absolutely everything. Super helpful for someone who buys one. I just enjoyed watching the whole video which was like a new adventure for me...very entertaining. Loved it!
Holy Cow! I loved the review and you were spot on letting us see hoe this not so little device works. I would never say I don’t want it, because I’m a kitchen gadget FAN! The folks who sent you this made a huge smart move, have fun!
Love learning about new kitchen gadgets? Looking forward to your next video.
WOW! Great video. I LOVE kitchen gadgets and this would be a lot of fun but, not in my budget for now. I love watching what this thing can do. Awesome!
Wow very interesting. Look forward to see what else you do with this.
Wow, a little advanced for me. I’m sure there will be plenty of these under the Christmas tree this year for the more daring. Thanks Nili ❤️
TY Sis Nili for sharing your new gadget you got there! I really like it. I would love to see more videos of you doing this if you can Otherwise it's ok. Stay safe!
Great video. Great job showing us how this worked.
Very interesting. In Europe and here in Australia we have similar product called Thermomix. It has been available for many years. I love my machine and use it almost every day, for one thing or another. Very popular ❤
How exciting for you to try this new way of cooking and more. Thank you for sharing it with us. I rank your videos right up there with Americas Test Kitchen. Your very honest and I like how you test things. Good or Bad, you let us know.
💖 I love this!
Fascinating 😮
Thanks for the review! That is very unique . Though my hubby would have a lot to say if I spent that much on a small appliance lol.
This product is incredible. What a hoot!
That is really neat!
Very interesting! Not sure if this was the best time for them to roll this out since many people are having financial hardships and the price point is quite high. We shall see, it's cutting edge for sure and I like it. I will wait to see if the price drops and more reviews are given to it's longevity and functionality. Thank you! You give the best product demonstrations and reviews than anyone out there since you are totally honest about how you feel about the product, many reviews are not honest since the reviewer is paid by the manufacturer.
That's pretty awesome!
Pretty cool way of cooling but not sure how much I would use this. I want to get a sous vide cooker and try that
You should try making your hollandaise sauce or lemon curd in there! Thanks for a great preview. If I was young and just getting started, this seems like it would be a great all in on appliance and could save a lot of space.
I love new kitchen toys! 😃
I always find it interesting to see what people can come up with! However, in my case I have nowhere to put it and having looked up the price, not in this life! Interesting product, though! Thanks for making us all aware of it! As always my absolute very very best wishes you all of you including all of your pets including Po! Take care, all!
The deep cleaning looks great.
By the way you can take the “cup” on the top and pour everything in there without opening the device.
This is quite sophisticated for my taste ,Nili your the best representative of this new technology way to prepare dinner, I’ll leave it to the younger generation.
I love my instant pots, started pressure cooking in my early teens cooking, canning, I love the new technology pressure cooking, IP of course, made my own working kitchen in our basement, IPad, Bluetooth speakers to keep me entertained.,I’m in my IP world turning out great meals.
This new item needs some space in your kitchen, that will probably be an issue. Great video Nili 👍🏻
I love it! I'll bet that you will have your own recipe page someday - I'm looking forward to it :-) Nice job!
I have seen something similar on Have Butter will Travel channel, but they both look too big and complicated for me, but it is fun to see it in action. Thanks for showing it!
Rather an interesting product. I could see it being used in several situations, like RVs, small apartments, tiny homes, or even regular kitchens if someone didn't want to dirty up a lot of pots and pans cooking. I don't know if this will become the next product to cook in, but hey, I questioned the Instant Pot when if first came out and now I own one and use it regularly. Would like to see what it could do with bread making as I wonder if that butterfly whisk is strong enough to actually knead dough.
I don't know about this model, but here in Europe this kind of device it's really common and normally you can knead with it but with the blade it self not with the butterfly, that isn't strong enough.
Loved the unboxing. What a wonderful appliance. Looks really great. Can't imagine using it. Or trying to store it. The tablet seems weird at first site. I don't usually measure or follow recipes exactly.
This is a little too "Rosie The Robot" from The Jetson's for me!
Thank you. Very interesting, it would have been helpful if it would have shredded the chicken in that pot. Looking forward to see how you use it.
Super interesting
I think from the comments this is indeed the cooking method for the generation raised with electronics doing everything from turning on your lights to speaking a grocery list for you. I love that you get to keep the Jetson's cooking gadget.
It’s interesting but not sure if it’s worth the probable high price, you give very detailed information thanks
Wow, Nili, this really looks like a very interesting appliance. I wonder if you could make your Egg White batter in that? Be well.
This is a gadget that I would love to have but, alas, way out of my budget. Maybe when the price comes down a bit. Thanks for doing all the hard work for us! lol Love your videos!
There are way cheaper brands, I've bought one for 299€ in Europe.
For someone just starting out, maybe just married or moving into first apartment, this might be great. For someone like me who already has the appliances this would replace, not so much. Plus my internet is not always strong. As one commenter noted, I’m reducing technology, not adding.
WOW! SHARED TO THE BURGH
👍This was interesting- probably too complicated for me lol 😅 but fun to see!
Ooooo…I want to see how your egg white bread turns out! Are you able to whip without the overflow? Really good review! I am looking forward to seeing how creative you get with this product.
Agree, this could be a future product.
I might buy this cooking appliance when I will become 100 years old and lost all my tooth 😂
This girl!
This was a fun video to watch. I love new gadgets but I won’t buy them if they don’t have a practical use. Can this air fry? I’m thinking not and that it just steams but I thought I would ask since I’m tossing my old air fryer. I’d love to hear of your future uses and experiments! Thanks!
WOW, what a neat appliance, with a WOW price tag too. I think you said it can make ice cream, would love to see ice cream being made. Maybe with some of your blackberries?
A very interesting appliance. If I had a larger kitchen with more countertop space, it might be fun. I’m not sure this old dog could learn new tricks.😆 Blessings...
I have a talking microwave and love it
Wow! Jetsons kitchen gadget of the future!
🚀🌌👽👨🚀🛸
Great review, Nili. Too much money for me but sure fun to watch. I saw ice cream recipes- does it freeze too?????
That thing is BIG!
Ginormous!
Wow that's interesting
Just the weighing scale is a winner for me
Intriguing. It doesn't completely remove knife work, since you have to peel and ...separate some ingredients, but if you can't do finer knife work, this is useful. I doubt it will ever take the place of mise en place entirely, just the chopping and slicing aspect.
It can't grill a steak, tho... lol!
Shouldn’t the appliance have shredded the chicken? Not for me, seems like more work than less. Thank you.
Have you reviewed the tovala smart oven?
You did an over the top demo Nili! The best one I’ve seen for this device! But no… The only thing attractive about the cooking pal is the tablet. To get step by step recipes on it. Other than that it don’t make sense to me. Now I can see the idea of it, thanks to your great demo, and would buy one if it was just a big pot. No food processor or blender in it, but just a countertop cooking pot in a base, with the tablet with recipes, that would be attractive to buy.
That seems like a lot of work LOL
And needs a LOT of storage space. I think I will stick to my IP and crock pot...hahaha
K.E.W.L.!! Would be awesome for sauces that need constant attention for reduction!! Wait...does it freeze, too? I saw ice cream...
Can you make your PSMF batter with it?
Great minds think alike! I'm planning to try 😄
What will “they” think of next!!! 🤣🤣🤣♥️♥️♥️
This is going to be a hit with my the younger generation
Assuming that you already have a few good knives and a decent cutting board, for the proposed price buy a silicone spatula, a nice good quality enameled Dutch oven, a couple of cast iron skillets, an induction burner, an inexpensive immersion blender and Mark Bittman's How to Cook Everything. That is an open system.
It's very interesting. I don't think I'd like it only because it seems like you have to stick to the kitchen a lot if you follow their directions for their recipes. It is fun though.
I think someone setting up a new household might find this appliance will replace others and perhaps spend the same or less money. Vita mix Blender, Cuisinart food processor, Kitchenaid stand mixer, these three alone can set you back $1000 or more and they don’t cook food. Does it have instapot features? I’ve seen others on UA-cam bloggers using their Thermomix and it’s an amazing appliance.
It's definitely a knockoff Thermomix. I first saw it in European and Latin American cooking shows. I think I have mostly seen it used as a blender or food processor, and to prepare batters/doughs for baking. I haven't really seen it used for actually cooking the food. It's certainly an intriguing but way too expensive gadget. I enjoyed your demonstration, Nili!
I have my Vitamix and Ninja Foodi which does everything this does so not for me but for those that do not have these this could be an option for them. 😉
Watched it all the way through. Made more sense. I am sure it is way too expensive.
I just bought a Thermomix 6. If you were given the molto then you should learn how to use it. Not as good as Thermomix but worth trying. The butterfly whisk is not for kneading it would break. It’s for whipping! Good luck!
My niece in France has one of these. She uses it a lot, but it seems like overkill to me.
I love technology in cooking. This looks super cool! But at $1K I doubt it’s in a lot of people’ s price range for an appliance. Pretty neat though.
Interesting, may sell more of them if they really do work on the variety of recipes for all the different diets, and probably simplify recipes. Just a guess but gourmet usually adds up to a lot of steps and I can be lazy!!!
Oh, can it mix and bake a loaf of egg white bread?!! 😃
Is it just me or do others leave the protective clear seal on objects to keep the screen/surface protected as long as possible?
I also do this Actually I thought this was the standard and it puzzled me when I saw her taking it off.
@@user-vq5gz3if3o Thanks I don't feel so weird now lol
k. this seems waaaay to much work to do some cooking.. i have some good pans and one cast iron, air fryer, and my instapot.. no microwave either. this is a solution in search of a problem.
Whole chicken?
The big question is, can it whip your egg whites?!
That was pretty cool! I will say at 64, it was a little too much learning for me. This could be helpful for someone short on space and didn't have a stove. You did a great job demoing it. Yikes! I just went and looked at the price. Umm, that would be a hard no.
I forgot to say that it will help you make fancy doughs, puff pastry, pastry crusts, pizza crusts.
Does this device have Polish language?
Not only would this be good for mobility challenged cooks, but if your living conditions do not include a normal kitchen setup. Or for someone that needs to move frequently or unexpectedly. Most of these scenarios might befall folks on a tight budget, though, so, ironically, it would be out of financial reach!
Or a truck driver!
2nd week in Culinary school. So, this is no for me dawg. LOL But, I can see how it may benefit those low on time and or lack of cooking skills. But takes up way too much room.
Yup, I would venture to say that you're not in their target market 😆❤️
I first saw this on Spicey Apron channel and first thought it was a joke, its cheaply manufactured, expensive (costs more than the combined amount of the appliances it supposedly replaces) isnt as versatile as separate appliances, it takes up alot of space and if main device fails you cant do anything, I honestly thought it was a joke.
I would love to see you flour.
These have been around for years. It's basically a knockoff Thermomix.
Very interesting but no thanks! I am trying to get technology out of my house.
Yeah! The next scale in cooking for extra dummies 🤣😂
WAIT!....send no money.....there's more!
Wow thousand bucks Amazon anyway , A little too much for my pocketbook nice machine though
