Is there any way to increase the size of the battery indicator on the top right of the home screen? I tried increasing font size, but it didn't work. The thing is so small I can barely see it.

hi, thanks for review.... just got this phone....noticed that brightness on netflix videos is super low (compared to previous s23), any settings we can change? Even turning the brightness to the highest when viewing netflix the videos are like 30% of the brightness of a s23/
Great video.I have one issue. Whenever someone is sharing me Instagram links. And when I click in them instead of opening in Instagram app the videos are opening in chrome .how to change this

Can you go backward with a swipe motion like on Google Pixel?! I can't seem to find it in the settings.
When you set the Google Photos as the default photos app, can you access the photos inside a 3rd party app like instagram for example like iOS?
The new AI functions in the default gallery app are pretty amazing (got a ChatGPT-like function for portrait shots), I wouldn't make Google Photos default directly.
4:56 - Samsung fortunately allows one handed mode with a swipe down even with the gesture bar hidden (does require good lock tho)

I found only double tap to wake, but you can add screen lock icon instead.

Recently got mine, the battery life is average but pictures that come out with Leica authentic are stunning would recommend
its overheat and sometime fog in camera lense

And I would add that when using the custom 120 hz refresh rate, UA-cam can only be used at 120 hz in this setting. it just has to be set manually. If you set custom 120 hz, a menu will appear with the name Apps using high refresh rate, when you click on it, a list of applications will appear. UA-cam is turned off by default. Therefore, you have to scroll down to the end of the list and turn it on.
And it is also possible to change the size of the icons on the home screen
I using Xiaomi 14 pro.. China Rom version. I can't receive message notification once screen OFF. I has been done all setting notification default, however still the same once screen off.
Wouldn't reccomend setting the screen to 120hz locked, basically makes the LTPO function useless and also drains battery. Other than that, great vid!

Sadly when I use cameras (no matter which one ), the 50 MP, f/1.8, 75mm (telephoto) is getting foggy from inside. Outside is the temperature only 18C

Very cool infos. Like it! But: a little bit FAST! For Germans :-) But GREAT!
I bought this phone and unfortunately it has a lot of things you don't know beforehand:
1) impossible to take photos at 50 mpx by default! You have to go to the photo menu every time, and in the "plus" tab choose 50 mpx. It's just nonsense!
2) You can't use the zoom lever on the professional kit if you choose the 'raw' photo format.
This is really very disappointing for a camera of this price that claims to be "professional"!

Me too when i first got the phone in my hands. It seems that due to the large camera module and the variable aperture, the ois is disabled when the camera app is not used (the sound goes away when you open the app). The ois must be using some kind of magnet field, which is enabled when you launch the camera app and disabled when you close the app.

All Snapdragon powered cellphones overheat very easily as it is a flaw in it's design, which Qualcomm has never resolved

@@wouter.d.h. Got the global one. The battery does seem to be draining faster than I would like, however I have enabled a few power hungry things like brightness , best resolution etc... Lasts the day though. I'm hoping it gets better

All the lenses on this CCP spyware Xioami is Sony, all the images taken by Sony LYT-900 sensor, the images get possessed by Snapdragons 8G3. All the lenses on this CCP Spyware Xioami is Sony right? Underwhelmed if I'm honest. Look of the UI in general is fine but its still full of quirks and duplication. Ugly text wrapping on some app names and cant set yhe wallpaper from some 3rd party apps. Gets far warmer than yhe S24 ultra also. Somehow feels less than the sum of its parts. Returning.
Who hates the Google feed? People are can really be weird.

Biggest let down is the software. It's looks like a cheap ios knockoff and the software doesn't take advantage of the hardware. They only have one decent camera and it's the primary for the price the others are terrible. Xiaomi just throws on hardware just to have a nice spec sheet.

On the contrary, all the iOS-esque features were in the fact what makes the phone so intuitive despite being an Android phone. I own a Pixel 8 Pro and the notifications drawer is so much superior on the Mi 14 Ultra. Just my 0.02
