Thank you for this pattern. I made this this with a Star Wars fabric and it came out beautifully done. I wish we could post pictures of the quilts you teach us to make. It would not of been possible without you and the Jordan Fabrics team. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I loved that you named it and made it a free printable, please keep doing patterns like this as I love them. I have been quilting for 7 years I have made a quilt for more son it was my first one - king single and I designed it myself. A green Creeper, a baddy from a computer game then I have made 8 king singles for all the baby's at hubby's work, I now have four more to make for them starting baby due January, February, march and April. Have just made one for my Drs wife for their anniversary, the only people to pay for my work. one for mi7újy niece's 16th, now I am doing one for my mother in law's bday in December. My son and I have been making a 9 square with 2 1/2 " squares quilt . Looking forward to finishing that one. Oh and made a Dr Who quilt for hubby with bow tie patterns which he loves. I have five projects in my cupboard waiting for me and I just brought some batiks now have to find a pattern for them, because you are always talking and how nice the are. Now my pharmacist just asked for a quilt his wife and daughter - willing to pay. And neurologist would like them for his three children so I am not sure when I will get to my quilts. I look forward to 4 pm everyday when I have a cup of tea wheat my knees and watch your videos. Keep up the good work and I look forward to when I can buy some (lots) of your material) in middle of building new house and will have extra cash. Well lots of love from down under Tina PS I enter all your comp. Fingers cross that I will on day 😜
I saw this quilt hanging just inside the door of the shop in one of your videos and loved it. I stopped the video and made a sketch of it for myself and then just today ran into this video of you making the quilt. Now I can print the pattern and not get confused. Thank you.
I can't believe how excited I was to see your next video pop up on You Tube. lol I ran to get a soda and now I'm ready for your next lesson. Honestly Donna, your videos are the best around. I have made some of your projects and they turn out great. I made the 1st roundabout with a template. Now I have a ruler and I'm biting at the bit to start the 2nd one. Going to use black and white. As soon as I get some of this stash thinned out I'll be ordering. In fact I'm considering the roundabout kit to compare it. Love that quilt. It's so much fun to watch it evolve. Thanks again
I love this quilt. You break it down and make it easy to understand. You are braver than I am with cutting all at once. I'll get there eventually. Thanks for another great video!👍
Wow! that was fast. Just watched your great border video and now the quilt pattern is already on line. Thank you, Donna. I so enjoy every one of your tutorials. I've become an avid 'finger presser' because of your encouragemen.
That tutorial was just fantastic. Your quick cutting tips and the skills you share are phenomenal. it was great how you demonstrated that even with careful auditioning of fabrics, they can still be "wrong" when laid out in the desired size. A change of mind doesn't mean a waste of fabric, just that some are ready for another project. Jess
I love the fabric choices! I made a quilt using geometric black and white prints and paired them with red and it may be my favorite quilt. I'm a newbie so my pattern was very simple, but I love this quilt. When my skills increase, I will have to give it a try.
I've been looking for a pattern that would let me fussy cut my snowman to keep them whole , but also let me introduce solids that appear in the prints.I have just found it, thanks for great ideas and brilliant tutorials!
Love black white and a color... red, yellow, pink, aqua! Nice to see something that is not batiks too! This is SO cute. I am going to have to try layering and cutting all at once like you did, though it will take some courage on my part. I don't think I have as good of an eye as you do for parallel... but what the heck I will give it a shot. LOVE LOVE LOVE your vids! Thank you as always Donna and team!.
I, too, love your videos. The camera work is what sells them for me. You've asked for suggestions for other tutorials. I'd really like to see Drunkard's Path and Snails Trails. Now, I'm heading to watch more fun videos!
I just love this one, Donna you are my all time favorite on you tube congratulations on all your videos only one thing bad your all the way across the USA I’m in Michigan wish you where closer I would visit you
Love your tutorials! One comment though about this pattern. The pressing instructions in the pattern for B-D-B are wrong and exactly opposite to your tutorial. Best to follow your tutorial for less bulky results. Please keep them coming!
Buenas tardes ,buen trabajo y muy bien explicado ,cada día me lo pones más fácil de entender lo que lo que explicas , gracias por el empeño que pones, un saludo desde Málaga .E.
Made the Irish Rebel quilt and laid it on my full size bed to check out size. Found it to be too small. Would love to get more of the fabric to make additional borders but don't know where to find them. It would be helpful if you would make a listing of fabrics used in your kits.
I like to use the "OLIPFA" ruller that I purchased many, many years ago. With really painful arthritis, this design helps me anchor the ruller on the edge of the table and just press downward to keep everything straight. Using a hand weight looks hard and cumbersome to me (personally). They are high unto impossible to find in stores.
good use of color, excellent job! Hey, how about changing that to navy with pink to pop and burgundy with sky blue to pop? If you don't want to do it in reality, how about CGI? or some other computer generated resemblance?
I really love your tutorials, Donna. Irish Rebel is my next quilt! I'm wondering what iron you use. I don't like to use steam, and I'm having difficulty finding an iron that gets really hot.
Loved this video! Your vids are some of the best available! The weight is a great idea, can't wait to try it! I am going to love trying this quilt, it is beautiful. Thank you! Question: do you use tour cutting mat to measure your cutting? I prefer this method, but have been told the measurements on the mats become unreliable after being cut upon. So, have been trying using two rulers to measure and cut rather relying on mat. It is cumbersome and I prefer the mat, that's why I ask......hope that was clear as mud....😳
I use the cutting mat. I find this method much more reliable - I can line up my plastic ruler with the lines on the mat all the way at the bottom and way up at the top even if I am sub- cutting a small strip. We cut a lot of patchwork, and the mat will eventually need to be replaced especially if you use the same lines over and over.
You must get tired of saying some of the same things in each video, but I find it so reinforcing to hear. Helps remember and learn properly. Thank you so much! Also I love this design and your fabric choices.
Love your videos! Binge watched. :D Do you have any suggestions for the finger pressing for someone that has to keep their fingernails extremely short for their job? Thanks in advance. I'd love to order some of your kits, but being in Canada the exchange and shipping would just kill me. Keep the videos coming.
You might try a thimble or the back side of your scissors. Even your finger tips will work. The key is to make sure that the seam is fully open before pressing.

This would be a great Veteran's quilt.
Love your tutorials! One comment though about this pattern. The pressing instructions in the pattern for B-D-B are wrong and exactly opposite to your tutorial. Best to follow your tutorial for less bulky results. Please keep them coming!

Que capricho lindo trabalho
I am really embracing the finger pressing. This weekend I pieced a binding then finger pressed the whole thing.
Super pressing tips!
Would love to see how to put a double border (where the first border seems to go "under" the patchwork) on a table runner.

hi i like all your videos very helpful
I really love your tutorials, Donna. Irish Rebel is my next quilt! I'm wondering what iron you use. I don't like to use steam, and I'm having difficulty finding an iron that gets really hot.
We use a Rowenta with the water reservoir in the base, not the handle.
thanks
Good choice
Donna, I searched for your Irish Rebel pre cut kit and couldn't fine it, could u help me with that
Muchas gracias por compartir lo explicas también que no importa que yo sepa inglés. Muchas gracias por tus vídeos saludos desde zacatecas. México

That is great. I much prefer the mat method and reading about your precuts, it sounds like you are the experts! Very impressive. Thank you!
I am having a hard time ordering 2 of the pre cut log cabin

I would love this pattern but it’s no longer on your website. Is there anyway I could get it?

What is the unfinished or finished block size?
When will the Irish Rebel Kits be available?
I am really curious about your ironing table? Can you share with us what it is made of?
There is a tutorial on that. Really interesting to watch.

Wow..,sister so nice.
When you say I’m going to use a really small stitch length what do you mean? 1.5 ?
HELLO DONNA🌷😘👍🙋:BEAUTIFUL TUTORIALS.THANK YOU .LIKE,LOVE QUILTS!!👍👍👍💯✖💯👍👍👍🙋👏👏👏👏👏
Donna, do u always use batiks?
Please tell me how you cut so well.
Merci, très jolie.
what do you do with the blocks that you do not use?
How do you decide what to call your quilts?
Nice
Great video. No free download for this.
It will be ready in the morning - thanks for your patience!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sometimes I make changes, too.
👌👌👌👌👌👌
I find I always need to sew scant quarter inches to get my pieces to fit. Sewing and seams take away .
Very nice
I like your choices better. R your fabrics all batiks
😍😍😍😍
Спасибо красота лоскутков

Need more fabric for additional borders. What company makes the fabric for this quilt? RJR? Moda ? Need your help.
These prints are from RJR Fabrics. I mixed a black background Blossom Batik with red and white prints from the Boutique Brights collection.
Você é magnífica! Mas POR FAVOR, nos de as medidas em Centímetros.... ! Por escrito. Não domino o inglês
