Let's use leftover Christmas Ham to make party food to ring in the new year with Hot Ham and Cheese Sliders!! This American party-food fave is SUCH great food for gatherings: easy to make large batch, economical, hand-held food, and everybody loves it. Think - your everyday ham and cheese sandwich. Dialled up to 10! - N x ❤️
------
Hot ham and cheese sliders
SLIDERS:
12 normal or 24 mini soft white rolls*
1/3 cup (80g) American mustard (ie bright yellow)
350g/ 12 oz ham, shaved or thinly sliced
250g/ 8 oz Swiss cheese or other melting cheese slices (10 - 12 slices)
ONION POPPYSEED BUTTER - mix:
100 g (7 tbsp) unsalted butter, melted
1/4 onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp American mustard
1 tbsp poppyseeds (ok to omit)
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cooking salt/ kosher salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1. Split bread in half (keep in slab), spread base and lid with mustard. Put base in 23 x 33cm / 9 x 13” pan, top with ham then cheese. Bake 10 min at 180°C / 350°F (160°C fan) for 10 min until cheese melts.
2. Top with lid, pour over butter, cover with foil, bake 20 min. Pierce bread where butter is pooled to encourage bread soakage. Bake 10 min uncovered until crusty, cut and serve hot! - Навчання та стиль
This actually made my mouth water.
The way the slab of rolls fits perfectly into the oven dish 🤤
Yum! 😋 BTW your tips were great! Melted cheese through and through with no burnt edges plus the knife wiggles made a good sandwich better! 😊
I made them last night. I used Horseradish sauce, instead of the mustard and added a tablespoon of brown sugar to the butter mixture. The were amazing! Thank you for the recipe.
Forget the sandwiches. Hi Dozer 🐾🐾
Hahha Dozer is a legend!!! But I’m all those sandwiches😊😊😊
@@reddog4514 🤣
Bugger the diet. 😂
When I saw the mustard I was convinced that this would be good. This looks delish 😋 I am making this. Yes, keep Dozer healthy ❤
Happy new year my dear friend!.....I pray to God to give you a lot of beautiful days and you know God loves us so much!.....So where are you originally from? I am David originally from Spain but currently living in Texas now.
Corr! I'm all for the soakage step. Genuis!

I’ve made pizza sliders to and also delicious! But ham and cheese is my favorite.

You just gained a new subscriber. Think I'll be making this tonight.
I found a recipe of these from an American channel last year and I’ve made it a few times since then with some slightly different ingredients. They are so unbelievably delicious. I’ve made them with the cheapest version of ingredients. I’ve made them with pretty expensive ingredients and good mustard and they’re still great. These are just good, no matter what.

Looks great. Only thing I'd add is some dill or bread and butter pickles after they're done baking.
I’m definitely making this for my family.
I love your vid’s! Such great food 💖✨
Those look so yummy!! Do you have a recipe for a gluten free bread that is actually good. I have tried many store bought versions and homemade recipes, but they are all absolutely horrible.
So great. Thanks for all your videos this year.
🎄🌟❤️🐶❤️
Looking soooooooooo good. Im going to get some ham now.

I’m sure that video contained some instructions but I was just glued to watching the end result, and just wow!!! Dozer I feel your pain Buddy I didn’t get any either😂😂😂❤

The perfect way to use up leftover Christmas ham! (Not that I have heaps left haha 😅)
Thank you, such a fabulous recipe!

Oh man 🤤 I’m going to have to remember this one for the next time I have a few to cook for!
Love you, Nagi and Dozer! You create the best recipes!!! ☺
They look amazing!!!!
I'm new to your channel, you are much better than Jamie Oliver. Looking forward to taking my mediocre cooking to the next level. Thanks from Canada
Mmm..Looks yum😋
Yum yum yum.....Happy New Year!
Wow it's so yummy yummy👍
Cooking is an art and not everyone is gifted with but everyone has the potential to learn it. I like it. Your cooking style and big thumb 👍 907💕 ☕ 🎄🎁
Wow very nice and delicious ❤❤
I was about to ask if the topping would sog the bread, but then you cut holes for the pooling 😅 I love me a good ham and cheese!
I watched it at midnight and suddenly felt starving. 😂
Dozer!!!!!❤❤❤❤
If anyone was curious, this right here is why I follow her channel 👍
Woow super ❤❤❤
Damn Nagi, I am broke as hell but I've got something for breakfast thanks to you now. ❤
Yummy...
I commented on the website I would be trying this with 3 large rolls in a small baking tin.
I'll let you know how it turns out.
You always seem to make a basic recipe so much....more. No fancy ingredients, just the usual staples most of us have nearby and can rustle up on a budget. Gordon Ramsay who? I am going to try this asap! Please come do a food tour in London. Pretty please!

I love life of dozer
OMG!!! Didn't know y'all had a UA-cam channel! Of course, I immediately subscribed.
Gonna make these for New Year's Eve. Having the usual black eyed peas and collard greens for New Year's Day.
Dozer looking at you when you tell Him No! 😂❤
Thanks for your take on this. We tried the usual recipe once but the top was soggy and much of the butter mixed had poured off. This sounds much better!

Great recipe but your smiling face "joyful" says it all❤
Take to the next level...make your own dinner rolls, maybe tweak with dry oregano or garlic powder....
Love the recipe but I have to say, I ❤Dozer more! x 😅
❤❤❤
This sounds like a good way to test the new oven for hotspots by melting a giant sheet of cheese 😂
Super super super super super super super super super super super super super super
Streetfoodaround here for love ❤
You forgot one detail. What temperature for the oven?
Can add a pickle on top ❤
Any substitute for Worcestershire sauce ??
Why is no one making those conjoined type rolls here in Europe ?! those seem to be amazing for meal prep.
Also God damn this looks delicious, but other side I would cover with ketchup. Love French's yellow, but this will be mustardy
mmmmmmmmmmmm🍔😋
😁 the English like it hot and spicy 😆
u are so obsessed with mustard
I think I’ve just fond my new wife❤🎉❤😂
Where is the written recipe!!!! How much do you measure for the sauce???????
