@@AkronKid330 Miami in the 90s had some of the worst crime in the country. Now it's cleaned up but still has bad crime. I guess the people in Cleveland are sort of what reminded me of the old Miami. Miami is still a city of freaks. And that's crazy you say that because whenever I go to Miami to visit family it just feels like an overall crappy place with a bad criminal element. I become paranoid when I'm down there.
@thedirtybubble9613 Cleveland now is insane with the total no regard for human life . These young kids will shoot you in a blink of an eye. I live 25-30 miles east of Cleveland now, and most calls are from 25 yrs old and younger. Shooting here, shooting there. Crazy .
Wow how time goes by i can remember as a younging watching this every night with my dad and brother it reminds me of the good times we had and we always watched the o episode's from our home state ohio.
I used to watch COPS on TruTV with my Dad before he would go to work the night shift at the hospital. We’d eat dinner and watch COPS together. Great show.
I wouldve stopped chasing him once he got to Dead Man's Curve. This cops are pros, glad no one was hurt. This wouldn't today, that road way too busy for such a pursuit 😮
Tried figuring out where the 2nd segment was at. White couple, 2nd district, gonna say we are on W. 56th-ish and Denison. During the segment, you hear about another call out for shots fired W 54 and Franklin.
Post more Cleveland Police episodes sometime, I love CPD, all great episodes!!
I ❤️ Cleveland Cops. Oldschool is always best.
Nice seeing a young Nate Sowa on the first clip. 15 years later I know him best from the 1st 48
That's the Detective with Cigar from the First 48?
Thanks again for sharing another episode. We can't get enough of these old episodes : )
Cleveland episodes were always the best ones!
This makes me feel like a kid again ❤
Good old Cleveland, Ohio! Thanks for uploading :)
Soon as he said dead man's curve it brought back memories!
90s Cleveland is just like 90s Miami. I kid you not.
But worse. No matter where I was in Miami, I always felt safer than I did in Cleveland. Cleveland is just different. It always felt more gritty.

@@Scottocaster6668On the plus side, the previous mayor's knucklehead grandson got killed off 422 Kinsman somewhere, so it's not all bad. 😏
@edwardgaines6561 white or Jackson's? Kinsman...now there's a safe area 😮
Detective Sowa! I just saw him in an episode of the first 48!
Officer Gonzales and Mullins are iconic when it comes to pursuits
The pursuits are ok, but my favorite are the traffic stops that turn up drugs. People are sh!tt!ng themselves , the fear, and then….. the excuses.
GET ON HIM MEL!
The offender they caught will be facing felony evading, grand theft auto, and felony possession of a fire
@@sirvilhelmofyonderland THE STING OPERATIONS
WERE MY FAVORITE LOL
@@STAYWOKE000 sting operations are cool. I just like the traffic stops. I remember having weed sometimes , before it was legal.
“Get on it Mel”. It’s a Cleveland thing 😂.
My hometown Cleveland. Grew up in Old Brooklyn, and work at one of the big 3 hospitals in the city. Always Loved our CPD!
Anywhere near Amberley Ave?
@@noneyerbidness Portman Ave. between Broadview and State

Dead man’s curve sounds like something in sponge bob square pants 😅
Funny thing I crashed a Blazer at that exact spot🤣🤣⚠️ in the snow
It’s a rough turn. You think you’re good until you’re in the middle of it and realize you’re going too fast
@@Dsamf2Don't they have some yellow rain barrels to soften your impact though? 😅
Somebody dies there damn near every day. People are always crashing in that spot

That's a good memory to have. 😊
Thanks for this episode been waiting for this Cleveland episode thank you so much one of my favorites.
Thanks again for another classic episode!
I love the officers in the last clip, they seem to have a great sense of humor.
You don't have to hang onto my arm like that.
Yeah, i think i do. 😂
When Cleveland had a full police force
13:05 he looks exactly like forest gump when he goes for that long ass run in the movie.
but now he beats jenny
@@mikewatt8706poor little forest ....
@@mikewatt8706Jenny was the villain in that movie anyways...
My father in law just retired as a Cleveland officer.. He worked 6th district but it’s now 5th, I believe.. He retired as a Lt. if I’m not mistaken..
21:25 Bruh😅🤣🤣 I use to date his daughter Chaleska💯😂😂 Junior high
Back the men & women in blue.
I back MOST of the blue. But, not all.
Well, I can cross Cleveland off my list of cities I want to visit before I die.
20:27 Officer Stewart Carey. Brother of loved comedian Drew Carey.
Seriously?
Drew Carey is lame
Whoa!! He does look just like Drew. I had no idea he has a cop brother.
No, that is officer Robert Dunn.
Ahhhh classic COPS. Before cell phones and the interWeb 😅 when men were men.
And the crooks were cowards, not wanting to go to jail. We need to bring those times back.
Abusive boyfriend: "You don't have to hold on to my arm"
Officer: "Yeah, I think I do"
Haven’t seen this chase episode in a while
The cops sound like they're from Chicago.
Similar midwest dialect. I'm from Cleveland and can attest to it.
It’s the Great Lakes Vowel Shift.
@@-Aferg1986-Vowel shift? Can you give an example?
11:19 constant reminder of Jesus throughout the house…..in a domestic violence home. Same here
Some things never change
Young Nate Sowa first 48
I wanna see if my grandma on any of these episodes
Your grandma? Lmao, what did she do?!
Cleveland, the place even Akron doesn't want to visit.
Boy meets girl and girl drives him to drink! 😆😂🥃

I commented this on another Cleveland video. But my late grandfather was a cop in the 6th district. I think around this time
6;36 we'd like to find some ammo , we'd like the weapon loaded...we knew it was loaded...lol
I should have taken Spanish in high school when I had the chance. 😢
drugs and alcohol have ruined so many lives.
Very few domestic violence arrests of people that wear shirts.
5:49 crazy cop
