I'm a native American speaker who took on a Peruvian student to teach English. The subject of phrasal verbs came up and I had to educate myself as to what they are. With a blessing, I found YOU. Your voice is amazingly clear and elegant. I pride myself on having a very neutral, clear, accurate manner of speech but you are my English equivalent in the least. I'm hoping Alexander will adopt your channel for his B2 Cambridge exam. Your data and performance are absolutely the best. Thank you!!
Thumbs up! I shall leave some comments using your 101 phrasal verbs. I have to get going now. Cheers to you. Do not stop teaching us. Welldone! You rock!
Nice, great tips! Phrasal verbs really are so important. I try to teach them to my students every day because I think it is one of the best ways for English students to develop more advanced English. Keep it up English-students, let's go!
There are dozens of English online teachers in UA-cam. To me, the chemistry between teacher and student is extremely important where i could relate to what they taught, I feel comfortable with the way they present the teaching materials etc. It's no brainer "Let Them Talk is indeed the learning Englush channel I'm looking for all this while. Thanks for the lesson. Keep it up LET THEM TALK! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😊
Thank you so much for every video that I thoroughly enjoy!!! Can’t wait to open my own IELTS institute in India in 2021. Your videos give me a lot of content to teach kids, adults, IELTS, personality development - all kinds of students that await me. I am ecstatic. About 50 on a waiting list.... just through word of mouth so far! I so look forward to going back to India ( from USA ) and help give back to my country and community! Super excited and much grateful to you ..... I know exactly what I can do:-) Finishing my TEFL Training too!!💃💃💃💃💃. You are my Guru in the world of teaching English! Oh yeah! Love it all🌺
It's a nice educational video, good to see you pick up on the subtle areas of the language, which are very essential, but often ignored and thought insignificant in schools nowadays.
You come up with different approach every time .You choose part and parcel topics ,I found you best for tweaking of my English. You help me out to curb my mistakes.I am hooked on your teaching.
I love this channel. Gideon is the best teacher. Can somebody write all the phrasal verbs with definitions down so I can print them out? It would be extremely helpful.
Clearly it is the most comprehensive video which i have watched for intermediate level, you have mentioned the most important and common ones, thank you sir!
As usual super useful. I really liked one of your exemples " I didn't mean to hurt you, I didn't mean to make you cry!", it rang me a bell and a little bird told me," BEATLES "wasn't it? Thanks a lot! you're doing a nice, clear and professional job with your channel and I'm pretty sure with your English School too.
Thanks. Many of the phrase I knew or had heard before, but this training surely helps a lot in getting them to use actively. "To cotton on" however, well ..I probably have still to cotton on to it.
You are a very good English teacher . You give me some sense about this language , particularly the pronunciations , the rhythms , the phrasal verbs and how they are used in sentences . Thank you very much. I stick with your videos each day.
To meet up with cool people, Paris is an idea that always permeates me, Gideon, incredible 15 minutes, I've reviewed several times .. It's news to me so many phrases verbs, this class is very rich. You make your profession heartily. Gratitude to You 💚💛
Thank you for responding "Gurujee!" You actually made my day which is just starting in Los Angeles!! Yahooooooo! So my bestie in London reacted with a "Oh! Thats Lovely!" My American bestie said " That's awesome!" My Indian bestie coolly said " Basically! Thats very good!" Haha! My life is really lived in three countries ( Long story ) and the reactions are so typical! Love it....Have a great evening.
I like that all you teach is useful. The sentences and the phrases are really essential. For instance, I didn't ever realize that new shoes usually take a few days to WEAR IN. I have never paid attention to it. That's why probably I always try to buy the softest loafers. Cheers.
Thanks for your video! I guess particles help a lot when you are lost about the meaning of a phrasal verb. They are fewer than verbs, and easier to keep in mind!
Hi Gideon, welcome back with another interesting and educative video! Yes, it is obviously useful. I always appreciate what you do and how you do it for us English learners!!! Thank you so much for your precious availability. Stay mellow too. Bye for now! Paola
Thanks. When I was a young student I found phrasel verbs very hard, now I realise how far my English has gone. Only 11 out of 101 I did not really know, but I could figure them out from the sentence. ❤️ English is my favourite language ❤️
