When you have a look at written phrasal verbs it seems a challenge to remember, and you should learn them by rote however, watching on video with an explanation by Arnel it's just a piece of cake.

My neighbors upstairs always wakes me up nice and early. The noise they've made stresses me out. I told them once to keep voice down. Do not run, throw hammers or drag wooden chairs. But it never works! So I suppose I would never ever get along with them really well. To cover their noise, I come up with ideas by turning up my music really loud or turning on my lamp to study. So I can get my mind off that. I even brought up this problem with my family, but they thought I was just too sensitive, which can't calm me down. I'm running out of patience. I wish I had a new house so I wouldn't have to put up with this. Every day I look forward to hearing them moving out, so I can finally catch up on some sleep or be able to sleep in on the weekend. You may wonder, "what time am I getting up tomorrow?" Easy question. Just ask my neighbors upstairs...lol

Hi! I'm Luiza and I'm going over my English notes using Arnel's videos because I'll travel to Canada for work. I came up with the idea of watching Arnel's channel because I really love her videos. Today, I got up early because I had to be at work until 7am. Before work, I popped into a coffee shop and there was a woman speaking English. I was happy because I could understand her. Then, I dropped my dog at my boyfriend's house and I went to work. At work, I filled out some documents for my trip and I handed them in to my boss. I'm really excited about my trip and I hope to stand out there.

Instead of get along with, I use get on with. It means the same. I am in love with your classes.

You’re absolutely right! 😊 'Get along with' and 'get on with' mean the same thing and are both correct. However, 'get on with' is more commonly used in British English, while 'get along with' is more common in American English. Great observation! 👍

Hello and thank you so much :) I don't know but when I watch your tips something 'clik' on my head and I see why is important learning phrasal verbs. I didn't understand them before and treated them like a nightmare that I'll never remember. Until today. I need to write down all of them and learning for free time. My English still is far from perfect but I can't believe something was change when I watched you.
