The ps5 is one of the newest generations of consoles. Ps5s were sold out everywhere in 2020, but now in 2024, why would you buy a ps5? its an investment i suppose, but join me as we answer the question of why the ps5 has no games.

In my opinion the ISSUE with the PS 5 Era is They are not taking Risks with Games anymore Like they did between 2000 to 2006 Every Game has to make 150 % Profit
We will Never See Games Like Onimusha 2 or Dead Rising 2 or We Love Katamari or Crazy Taxi again. Or Something Like Twisted Metal.
IT SUCKS But i still want to have Hope and we have New Players Now The Developers of China and Japan is making great Games
again. and Capcom has a Run for the Last 6 Years id say and for the Future. 15 Great Games in the Next 3 Years are not exactly A LOT lol.

We literally live in a nostalgic era/remake era. Zero original IP’s; no good PlayStation multiplayer games. We need a solid TPS multiplayer and they messed up when they cancelled Tlou2 mp

I have an XSX and a PS5. Both have literally nothing but I used my xbox more nowadays because there’s just slightly more to play for me

Do it. Homebrew PC was the best gaming decision I ever made. It eventually pays for itself, considering you don't need to pay for online gameplay. Steam has games on sale constantly.

To be honest, once you play on a PS5
the graphics of the PS4 will never look the same
the games run soo smooth at 120fps and its like after you play it on the ps5, you can never go back to the ps4, trust me

More like 720p60 on PS5. Forspoken, FF7ReeeeeBurth and FF16 all run at 720p just to even barely scrape 60fps. PS5 is underpowered bro. At least the Series X could run those games at 900p to reach 60fps since it's slightly more powerful. However, neither the PS5 or the Series X are powerful enough to reach 1080p60 on those 3 games. That's where the PC shows you how you actually can run games. Once you have a PC, you will actually be able to achieve 4K60 natively. The PS5 and Xbox Series Consoles are using Upscaling just to achieve fake 4K.

i have yet to buy a ps5 yet because there arent really any reasons to, but im hoping that sony releases more exclusives like they did on the ps4

May i just say it feels like the ps5 came out like 1-2 years max? My mind can't accept the fact it's been like 4 years. I actually know no one who owns one. It really feels like it hasn't made an impact at all that isn't related to the fact it barely has games or the fact they apparently want you to pay 700 dollars now for a "better" version. It's not looking good bruv.
Last gen is the reason why we have no games for PS5 and Xbox Series X. I don’t have a problem with people still owning PS4 or Xbox, it’s just that the games on current gen is also on last gen.

It’s funny that you had to specify “console” exclusive, since some of those games are on PC, making them not true exclusives. 😂 Also Horizon Forbidden West is also on PS4, so that one isn't even a PS5 console exclusive.

If you exclude VR, asset flips and tech demos, so far it's 7 games. And if you dismiss the games that are most likely coming to PC (FF7 Rebirth & Stellar Blade) it's 5.... 5 games, 4 years in.
FF16 just had its Steam page published today so it's safe to assume Rebirth will have one next year (1 year exclusivity). This is the worst Sony console ever conceived.
By the way, the overall amount of games on PS5 so far is 700. The PS4 by comparison already has 3.3k and it's clear the PS5 will never have that many. Though it's even worse on the green side, the Xbox Series only has ~450-ish titles released so far and of course no full exclusives like Playstation. Besides Gamepass and backwards compatibility, the green team is doing even worse.
literally, the only reason to still be A console warrior in 2024 is because you're poor and you can't afford a PC that can play the games🤣

PC is too confusing.. no one has time to spend all that and fit a huge PC and set up in their living room. A xbox series x blends in and fits in perfectly.

... or you have a life outside gaming. Seriously, most people who play video games don't give a shit about the things PC nerds cream themselves over. They just want a system that will have GTA 6 and the usual annual releases they like (Call of Duty, FIFA, Madden, whatever) so they'll pick up a PS5 or Xbox Series.
You can get prebuilt PCs and things like gaming laptops, but the average Joe and Jane doesn't know nor cares to know what the difference between them. They know that their PlayStation or Xbox will play the games they want to play. They know that's what their family and friends use too.

Its all just a tech upgrade, but thats kinda the problem. The games they are making on it just kinda exist, like you couldve legit held off until spiderman 2 came out 3-4 years post launch and have avoided all the craziness when it first came out
THE PROBLEM IS YOU CAN STILL PLAY 3000 PS 4 Games on Your PS 5 and The Run at 4 K and 60 fps and cost Like 20 $ used

Console Gaming is dead and for poor kids. Nintendo at least went Blue ocean since the DS and stepped out of the core market. The Xbox and PS5 are electronic shovelware. Again, it's for kids who hardly play games, it's a good value short term, but if you are really broke a decent PC and piracy will serve you better. Most of the people buying these consoles are consumerist suckers stuck in the past.
