I feel the need to talk about my panic attacks and my depression today!
No therapy or medication has really helped so far! I've tried so many things and nothing really helped!
With music I can finally gain some distance from my often somewhat poor condition! But painting and animals also help me a lot!
At least animals don't judge you! I just wanted to talk openly about what it really looks like inside me and that every day is a fight for me to move forward so that the past doesn't catch up with me again! The music always brings me out of my depths and
distracts me a lot, I'm very grateful to the universe that I found your UA-cam channel back then!

I’ve had my struggles with depression and panic attacks. You’re not alone.
I’ve had panic attacks as recently as late 2024. Panic attacks are rough. Depression, I struggle with my whole life.
I would like to say this. The present moment, if truly in it, does not allow space for anxiety or depression. We often feel depression from the past and anxiety or panic attacks, abstracting a future that has not happened.
      Stay present.
I used to go for these long walks around my neighborhood. I would listen to audio books. My thoughts would constantly go from the past to the future, and would rarely focus on the book. I spent months making an effort to be in the present moment.
What helped me was a TED talk that a person gave on this very subject. “Two easily remembered questions that silence negative thoughts.” Are these thoughts useful? How do my thoughts behave?
You are in control my friend. I have fought both of these issues and won. You can too. Find the present moment. Be here. You can do it.

Therapy can be helpful, but the action always resides in us.

The only problem is that I often don't dare to leave the house because I'm afraid of having another anxiety attack! I'd like to go for a walk but I'm so afraid of the next panic attack! I've had enough of all the therapies and some doctors just prescribe
Tablets and don't care about where the anxiety comes from! They just prescribe tablets and that doesn't really help... you have to help yourself, I wouldn't be able to do it without the support of my mom!
And I feel a very great connection to you Mike, I thank you from the bottom of my heart....

Have you read any of the work of Carl Gustav Jung? I have a great many of his books, and he has helped me immensely with embracing all aspects of myself. He talks of this method called Individuation. It is you getting down to the core of yourself, beyond and deeper, past one's ego. He talks that most people don't truly begin to live their life until reaching the 40's. That all previous years were research on how to be yourself. I very much like that notion.
I keep a dream journal. He has a book called "Dreams" that explains how not all dreams you have are meaningless. In fact, a vast majority of them are the opposite. They are trying to help. The only person who can do this, is you.
Asking yourself, why you feel so much anxiety. Where has the part of you gone, that does not worry of such things. Because that version of you exists, and it is inside you. It is the true version of yourself that you become through exploring yourself. Exploring your unconscious mind. Your shadow. Your Animus.
What are the features of your Persona? What is an imago?
Jung helped to map a great deal, and in studying his work, I have found much that has enriched my life in a manner that I wish to share with others because of the impact his study has made on my state of being.
We are all so unique, but I think there is something to be gained from him should you feel inclined to be curious.

Mike Your encouragement helps me so much, I'll buy these books tomorrow, better said if I get these books from my bookstore!
I like to deal with books so many books and I am getting more and more! I started to lead a dream diary today as you suggested to me! I think my panic attacks come from my difficult childhood ...
. But I fight against it and will work to change it! Thank you Mike, that you listen to me so well, I appreciate it on you!
You are a great person that rarely exists

I hope that you find a great deal of worth in his books. He has a lot out there. If you want a very accessible first read, check out “Man and His Symbols”. He only wrote a bit of it. Most of it was written by people that studied and agreed with his efforts. But, it was created as an introduction to his studies and methods.

At least animals don't judge the way some people unfortunately do in life, that's not good. I think you should first look into the heart of every person and then evaluate them💦

We all have the capability of judging each other. As forward thinking as I am, I still can find myself judging people. I suppose the thing for me to be proud of, is being aware that I do that.
I try to have a learner’s mind. It’s something discussed in Zen Buddhism. However, I am a monkey with high speed internet, so sometimes I revisit old ways of thinking.
If i find myself in a moment of judgement, I try to ask myself, what about me and my own behavior? Have I ever behaved in a similar manner? It’s incredible the amount of times the answer is yes.
