Would love a video like this with cherry wood cabinets. Also would love a video like this for bathrooms with carrara marble and white vanities. Love your insights!
Kylie, love your passion in what you do! I'm doing a reno on a 22 year old kitchen; nice honey gold maple cabinets that have aged nicely. Custom made sage green island is coming soon...I initially considered a butcher block for the island, and would like a timeless, classic look. Countertop/backsplash combos that will tie these two together? I'm thinking Calacatta Valentin, or even a Taj vibe. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Your love of subway tile makes sense to me. Thanks!
I'm putting oak cabinets in my kitchen and I also love the Silestone Calacatta Gold. I'm doing a two tone kitchen with a quarter sawn oak on top and a medium green (maple) on bottom (schuler biscotti and eucalyptus classic is my inspiration). I love the idea of mixing the cools with some warmth without it looking bizarre or busy. I definitely agree with your opinion on the heavy veining. I think deep veined countertops are such a statement peice that it needs to be the star of the kitchen. I think they are pretty, but i don't think they look timeless.
Oh, I LOVE this comment, this sounds gorgeous. Quarter sawn oak is to die for - I love it. And GREEN? Talk to me girl - I'd LOVE to see how this turns out!
Sadly, no. Being a natural material, there's variation between slabs that makes me a bit nervous. Is it Taj Mahal you happen to be looking at? It's THE HOTTEST countertop right now!
I have orangey “oak” thermofoiled cabinets (peeling) with orangey “terra” corian, orangey beige backsplash, and yellow walls. Willing to DM video if anyone is into horror flics 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Bought house thinking we’d re-do the kitchen first, but has turned into a money pit, and we can only do bare necessities because the money is running out 😭
Oh, I can picture it perfectly :). If you're looking for paint colors, check out the likes of SW Divine White, SW Kestrel White, BM Maritime White - see if any of those hit the spot. Hopefully you won't need MORE orange-pink to do the job!

I'll put that on my list, thank you, Miss Krafty Paws - Doug the Doodle says hello :)

@@KylieMInteriorsPaint thanks! I followed you on Instagram and I'll tag you once it's complete. ❤️
Can you tell us Granite colors that goes with oak?
I was hoping to see what you think of the new Cambria Mahtajj with the golden oak. It’s running about price wise as the natural quartzite,
Ooooo, I'm OBSESSED WITH Taj Mahal - I'm sure I have it in another video as I love it :)
Any white countertops with some beige in it to go with white cabinets?😊😊😊
Do any of your curated kitchen palettes have quartzite, or are they all paired up with quartz? I have my heart set on quartzite
