The Flaming Lips are one of the most underrated bands of all time. I just saw them live, I’ve been a fan since the 90’s. But Yoshimi & the Pink Robots blew me away since the moment I 1st heard it. And seeing them perform it after all these heads, I cried, I smiled, I sang and became a child of innocent love for life….thank you Flamings Lips for being who you are.

The first time I heard Do You Realize, it was a time in my life when both my parent's health was failing.
I struggled so hard and I just couldn't accept, and the anger I felt after my mother told me,
especially when I had to inform my step-father was all-consuming. I felt it was unfair and I began to blame.
This was mainly due to misspent time.
I heard your song and there was this balancing, understanding, and grateful acceptance.
