But has never gotten to the Mustang. But to get to the point in the town of like 600 only a few people outside the family know they exist. These cars get parked somewhere and just are forgotten.

Amazing find, which takes me back to 1967 when I bought a new convertible with the 390, 4 speed and 3.25 locker. I later converted it to solid lifter cam, which I believe was a W code item in those days. (not the block, just the cam) What reminded me of it is that the car you have has adjustable rocker arms, which are 1.8:1 and used on solid lifter cams. Also requires the tall 427 valve covers. All still fit under the hood with "no" problem. By the way, mine was also candy apple red!

I click the like button before I even start to watch the show because, past episodes have already proven that it's always going to be..Outstanding! as always
I know you and Richard Rawlings are friends, the thing that I like about your videos, you have a totally different style. You seem not to have that God complex that he does. You treat people with respect. I know that you have to buy low and restore and make a profit but you just seem like a decent guy that treats others like you want to be treated. Nice barn find. I am a Ford guy from the word go, I will never get to own my Holy Grail car, 1967 Cougar XR7, but I want to say thank you for sharing this video, I hope that you post updates as you restore this R code car. I did not know that Shelby had taken the K.R. From the R code car, I learned something today. Great video done with class!!!
Wow my dream car but in candy apple red. Amazing. The muscle car god father or whisperer. Which ever... a true diamond in the rough. Cant wait to hear it purr again. Thanks DC for taking us along for the ride. Me being a true ford fanatic. This video put goosebumbs up my neck and down both arms. Congrats on the find and definitely on the purchase. Hopefully purchase price and revival price even out for you. Thanks again for the story and for the ride along.
Dennis you are AWESOME! I know you paid him well for that Holy Grail Mustang, and you don't try to get it for less (like MOST PEOPLE!) I hope I get to meet you one day! I enjoy watching your show!
I had a 68 R code years ago.. green white c strip.. 51k original one owner miles. Paid 85 hundred, sold it for 65k month later. Exported to Norway.. in retrospect . I kicked myself for selling it...I still have service manuals, new ford door mirror, radio and fog lights.
Thank you Dennis and team for another awesome Coffee Walk. Can’t wait to see what you do with it! 🇺🇸🚜👍
Truly is going to be the year of the Mustang for Dennis.
