I envision this more of the sequel where the conflicts are now more world wide instead of within Jersey.... so he needs to transport his mech around easily? lol.....
@@NCHProductions Frankly, that's why I said "Able to afford". If Coop has to deal with World Wide Conflicts, first thing he gets is a Bigger Budget. He's already enough of a Genius to rebuild a Super Mech that was effectively torn to bits, replace the lost head unit with a Modified Mustang and even simplified the Control layout to the point that the Original Pilot was _Impressed!_ The only thing really stopping Coop from building Megas XLR to have AI Modules would have been having to program the AI cores and afford the more expensive parts.

@@Victor-056 Not to be that guy, but I'm gonna be, pretty Sure Coop used a Plymouth Barracuda with a Soft top, and he even put in a V-10 into the damn thing.
I still say what I said last time. I think what ultimately killed Megas was its massive budget. look how long it took you to do this one animation. now imagen having to do 22 minutes of this for over a dozen episodes. When Invader Zim was made, it is said that every episode cost around one million dollars to make, and it was using 3D models on many of their robots and spaceships to save on time and money. Sym-Bionic Titan also used 3D for their complex designs. Megas didn't do this. they went 2D on just about everything. so no doubt Megas's episodes cost way more than Zim's. double or even triple. But regardless of how much money Megas guzzled, the show still turned out great. I'm glad I was able to enjoy it while it was on the air.
Except that this sort of transformation would be reused in almost every episode (see example: every instance of megazord powerup sequence), making it effectively 12 times as efficient as it might originally seem earlier.
this was the most EPIC thing i'v ever seen!! seeing megas as a giant combining robot is just satisfying in so many ways and ticks all my boxes! thank you so much for this man!

Jamie: Yeah man! It would be like "Shoon" and "Ka-dunk" and and "Wreeeee-thung". It would be so Sweet!!
*Coop and Jamie does the the rock on hand sign*
Kiva: You both realize by the time Megas finishes combining, the world could be destroyed?
Coop: Na-uh! The Bad Guys would have to wait for us to combine. It's called Combining Etiquette, Kiva.
Kiva: *sighs* Even IF that was the case, you would need more pilots you can trust your life with.
Coop: What about Goat?
*cuts to Goat sleeping in a chair with his feet kicked up with a magazine covering his eyes*
Jamie: On second thought...
It would be funny that Coop had a nerd Japanese friend who introduction new character
Coop: Then why don't we you know make a system that connects all the other vehicles to the car and set the others on automatic follow the car until they need to combine
It would be hilarious to see the enemy actually wait while Megas XLR parts combine until it's finished.
@@TheWarmachine375 You know what it would be even Funnier. Is when megas is combining the Enemy is trying to attack but the pieces megas are actually taking down the enemies. Then at the end when megas is finished combining Coop is ready to attack then sees all Is vanquished. Then wonder how enemies got completely destroyed.
@@DavidJames-mr6rd Okay that works and Kiva would be facepalming in frustration while Jamie laughs his butt off.
So that’s where Coop kept the rest of Megas’s body. Man I miss this gem of a show
no it was just in the underground part of the garage
@@erubianwarlord8208 Pretty sure the underground part of the Garage was a abandoned Missile Silo. Though it is more likely Coop just has way to much time on his hands.

Oh my god...
This giant combining robot is absolutely gorgeous!!
And your animation skill also great, too!
Keep it up, man!
Cool! 😎
A wonderful tribute for a truly underappreciated show. Thank you for this!
I love how you took design cues that were already on Megas, and fleshed them out into something that you didn't even need to change the final design to accommodate. It highlights both your creativity and just how earnest a love-letter the show was by showing how it's literally designed to adapt itself to other parts of the genre and run rampant.
Coop absolutely would've done this given the budget and enough friends to drive all of the components.
no question he would have
Kiva could handle the backpack and Jamie the Torso truck... just need two folks for the legs
I got an Idea that coop Reveal that he has a another friend who was a Japanese nerd named toshi yamamato
Kiva, Jamie, Goat, just need 1 more.
... for ultimate irony they'd probably have to get Gorrath to help save Earth from something else so he could conquer it later.

When Megas XLR premiered all those years ago, it combined my two favorite things. Cars, and giant freaking robots. Those were some good times. Stellar animation work! So many references to other super robots to assemble a criminally underrated show.
Onward to a million subscribers, seriously mad respect for all the time and effort you put into your work.
The clean animation and music got me hyped as hell! Thanks for reminding how awesome this classic show was. Rock On!! 🤘
oh damn thanks for the generous donation! really glad you enjoy this!
@@NCHProductions Np, definitely well deserved. Thank you for helping me remember that chicks dig giant robots. 😁
oh and just as another thanks for your generous pledge, heres a early preview of the next animation(mecha related) I'm about to publish soon in a couple hours. =3

@@NCHProductions Oh my god! I haven’t thought about Metabots in a minute either… I also still can’t get over how clean your animation style looks. Thanks for the preview bud. 👍
This show was incredible. Awesome soundtrack, hilarious and relatable characters, and constant homages/pariodies of anime and sci-fi tropes that went over most of our heads when we were kids.
It was way ahead of its time. I'm glad it happened.
The Fantom Convoy here, this is absolutely fabulous!
Awesome work, was totally blown away
Nailed it! Totally believable combining sequence. And the revving at the end serving an actual purpose was a nice touch.
God I wish they still did reruns of this show. it was an absolute legend.

You sir, are a man of quality taste. Keep up the good work.
Hell yeah, Megas XLR! Loved that growing up and could totally be down for a combining mecha interpretation! Great work!
"You dig GIANT ROBOTS, I dig GIANT ROBOTS, Chicks dig GIANT ROBOTS." Damn I missed this show and that song was and is still a banger.
And here I thought this hidden gem of a show couldn't get any better. Thank you for proving me wrong, you absolute mad lad!
I love how they all seamlessly combine so it doesn't look like it's a combiner at all
This...I'm going to straight up say this in all honesty, is the BEST henshin of Megas XLR I have ever seen!
It looks like it could really fit in into the show, and has such a beautiful reference and montage to the GaoGaiGar transformation! Its so spot on and has this feeling of energy and power put into this while Megas is being transformed! I've watched and remembered the series when I was a kid(I think it was mostly reruns of show back then when it got ended at the time), and thought of how funny and awesome Megas was. And now, 21 years old, I come back to see this masterpeice you have made!
Again, this could very well fit into the show itself, and people would fall in love with this in a flash! Not to mention this is coming from a huge mecha and robot fan! I hope you keep on going with these animations, and make more like this! Maybe even make an animation of Megas XLR combine with the S Force robot too like in the episode!
Lots of Love! Keep up the outstanding work!
Fan from Albania!
10/10 Gaogaigar reference. Totally worth the wait.
God this whole sequence is just so good. I only wish we could have a shot of Coop just going wild with this. He would love this shit. Megas gets barely any love so thank you so much for this absolutely astounding animation!
Damn, this is just so much badassery. Mad props to you and the other animators. You did an excellent job! And now if you'll excuse me, I gotta go binge watch this show... xD
its just me doing the animation lol.
Dang... Even madder props in that case... Awesome job! :3 I assumed more animators with it saying collab. Instead I made an ass of myself! xD
oh this is part of a bigger collab but everyone just do their own take on a toonami show. this was my submission for it
Megas basically was my childhood, so I can't help but come back to this video from time to time for the double happy brain juice hit between the nostalgia and your amazing animation! Thank you for making this!
Honestly, for the longest time before I actually watched all the episodes of the show I legit thought it was a combiner
And I do wish the show was more successful and talked about, because now I want CN to collaborate with Takara or something to make this combiner, dammit
I agree if theres a plot how they got combiner upgrade they should add a Japanese nerd who was friends with Coop
That was amazing, thank you for the first new Megas content I've seen in years.
This show NEEDS more episodes, so funny and despite being an idiot, Coop could be pretty damn brave when his friends needed him.
Megas XLR is the coolest yet most ridiculous and over the top bonkers shit I ever saw on TV as a kid. This fits it perfectly. In other words...
🎸 *NICE*
Chicks dig giant robots
dude honestly, im actually genuinely crying. such a labor of love for a niche cartoon. How i wish it would comeback. thanks for the memories returning man great job
Maybe in a parallel universe the show was never cancelled but became so popular that it eventually got a place in an SRW entry. One can only dream.
THANK YOU,YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH THIS MEANS TO ME!!!
MY HEART WAS LEGIT ABOUT TO POP PUT OF MY CHEST AS I KEPT READING I THOUGHT TOONAMI WAS BRINGING THIS BACK BUT HOW BEAUTIFULLY AWESOME THIS ANIMATION IS AS WELL AS JUST MAKING IT IN GENERAL JUST SHOWS ME THAT THERE'S STILL PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO WANT THIS SHOW BACK!!!, thank you
You know, I would never have called Coop's boots iconic, but I would know them by sight after years of not thinking about this show.
All this Megas XLR stuff I been seeing around the net lately has been amazing! Glad to see it's so beloved by so many. Rock On!
Coop would be so proud! 🤘
Amazing animation, love all the little machinery details.
my GOD!!! man your animation is my favorite from the whole collab by far... the quality is INSANE!!! I can't stop repeating it lol
if Jody Schaeffer, George Krstic, and the Cartoon Network see this and plan to make this a reality at season 3 of Megas XLR, I'd love to see it.
It is my fondest memory and the first robot movie i saw.
I love this, I’m so friggin happy to see anything Megas related. You absolutely nailed everything, thank you for adding this to the collab!!!
Love those GaoGaiGar shots. That one internal connection shot 0:39, i was like this guy knows whats up
kinda honestly wish I could get more internal shots for the sequence, but planning and animating them was really a challenge lol. but its a learning experience to bring forward for future mecha animations heh.
The amount of attention to detail to Megas's design is very impressive and appreciated.
Now I really miss Megas XLR it and Generator Rex still live in my nostalgia cloud.
If you have an email I can send you all the episodes
Thank you SO MUCH for doing this! Megas was one of the best cartoons growing up and this brings back soooo many good memories!

There's so much love in this sequence
You've sent me back to my childhood. I missed this show so much, a homage to mecha but also making fun of the tropes too.
...If Coop would have been able to afford the means to build advanced AI cores, this _would_ have been how Megas XLR would have made its transformation sequence...
And for those who say "It would take too long", keep in mind that each component are transforming at either the same time, or just slightly off sequence to one another.
He's already enough of a Genius to rebuild a Super Mech that was effectively torn to bits, replace the lost head unit with a Modified Mustang and even simplified the Control layout to the point that the Original Pilot was _Impressed!_
The only thing really stopping Coop from building Megas XLR to have AI Modules would have been having to program the AI cores and afford the more expensive parts.
@@NCHProductions considering interplanatary/galactic flight was a road trip for them i dont think getting to the fight fast would be the issue i can see this being Coop's idea of a stealth mode though
@@Victor-056 Not to be that guy, but I'm gonna be, pretty Sure Coop used a Plymouth Barracuda with a Soft top, and he even put in a V-10 into the damn thing.
@@thehumanvacuum3413 Thanks! I keep mixing up those two!
Megatron- Behold Devastator! The most destructive combiner robot ever created!
Coop- Hold my mega-slush...
It was actually because the netword decided to write it off as a loss for tax reasons
@@codebracker And they prefer cheapskate shows with lackluster animation
@@codebracker And they prefer cheapskate shows with lackluster animation
Like teen titans go
Except that this sort of transformation would be reused in almost every episode (see example: every instance of megazord powerup sequence), making it effectively 12 times as efficient as it might originally seem earlier.
this was the most EPIC thing i'v ever seen!!
seeing megas as a giant combining robot is just satisfying in so many ways and ticks all my boxes! thank you so much for this man!
One of the best shows Cartoon Network had.
Seriously this was amazingly well done holy crap! All the details and the internals are eye candy!

Man, the theme song brought back a wave of nostalgia, and the transformation was awesome- the little details like Coop having to rev the car to sync with the main body would fit right in with the original show.

Really good animation, I’m honestly kind of jealous, since I can’t even draw that detailed and smoothly lol.
Keep it up!
After watching it, my only question is: how on earth does one control a walking fighting mecha using just normal car steering wheel controls? Do we need to change the gear stick to select each of the robot limbs?
About a dozen different game system controllers all wired in.
(After the sequance completes)
*Coop:* Yeah. Time to kick alien butt!
*Kiva:* Megus wasn't equipped with this function? COOP, did you steal it from the S-Force?!
