It’s as if we’re supposed to ignore that we live in a society shaped by generations of collective effort ;-; i think societies are complex, and real change requires us to address systemic issues, not just work harder as individuals. since neoliberalism supports profit and market interests, it ignores how wealth and power are distributed unfairly. It just feels a bit unrealistic to me-how can we solve social problems when we’re all tackling them alone? Can’t wait to see the vid though! :33

This sort of “paralises” people, specially kids and teenagers who grow up believing that it’s not worthy fighting against capitalism. I just think we should explain this to people, as this type of sentence is really common but also really scary.
