I love this time of year in Boulder! Have any of you visited? If you do, find me and we’ll get a burrito.
I will take you up on this offer, the burrito is on me please 🙂💥❤🚲
Do you see the 2 deer in this pic? In a trail near Littleton CO yesterday:

I have a very close childhood friend who lives in Dillon Colorado. Well she and her husband teach school in Japan so they are not there for months at a time and she told me where the hide away key is, lol.....its so tempting to just pack up and go for a visit. Not sure how close Dillon is to Boulder but I'm sure is beautiful as well 😍
Ryan, thanks for all the great content! Glad I've found your channel. You've helped us re-fire our passion
for adventure. Most notably, with the San Juan huts! Shooting for next year. Have to wait. Just had surgery
on my clavicle. Mtb crash right at the start of summer. Ugh!
@@broomrider7 Dillion is about 1.5 hours away, up in the Mountains, it's BEAUTIFUL. IF you ever come to visit, lemme know!
@@MichaelJohnson-iz4xn Oh no, sorry to hear about your collar bone! The hut trips are amazing, you're gonna LOVE it
I hope the Boulder Chamber of Commerce is paying you for this! So beautiful!
They’d more likely bust me for not having a permit for my drone, haha!
October 11, 1975 my parents got married in the field right in front of the Flat Irons. When I look at the photos, they take my breath away. 🌈❤️ And now I'm homesick. 😉
If you ever need a place to stay during ragbrai, get in touch.
Boulder became my home this year and I love how you captured all it's glory. Beautiful video, beautiful personality, thank you!
How do you like it so far?
Thank you, Ryan! I was so blessed to live, work and play and raise my two kids in Boulder where they were born at that same hospital. Beautiful! I miss living there in north boulder in the Holiday neighborhood.
Finally some bike trip "out there"
I wish you full summer of bike adventures, trips, and of course give us more great videos
It’s so true that you have to savor this time of year while the rains are making everything so green and unrealistically beautiful. Love my Boulder. My Father, Grandfather and children were born right here at BCH. No place like it.
i was born & raised in Boulder. Born at a hospital on Broadway and Balsam Ave back in 1967. I am an avid cyclist and love your stories. I live in Prescott Arizona now. Prescott is a lot like Boulder used to be ... FYI I am a commercial licensed UAV (drone) pilot, you absolutely correct. FAA controls airspace. You are ok taking off and landing outside open space.
Prescott is cool too! Hope you get to come 'home' every now and then!
Amazing place to take a ride! 🌿❤️🌼 Beautiful home town! 🌱
Great vidio. I was raised in Colorado and in the 80s a few of my buddies used to ride our BMX race bikes from my friends house in Broomfield to Boulder. We would then hitch a ride with somebody with a truck to the Dam at the top of Boulder canyon on ride down. Any of you that have road this knows how fast you can go down that road. When we got to the bottom we would ride back to Broomfield and I would ride home to Thornton. This vid brings back lots of good memories. Sad to say the last time I was out there was to put my fiancé,s ashes in the hills outside Boulder. Thankyou for posting.
Thanks for sharing Boulder with us. Going to have to make time to visit once things settle.
Thanks for the tour of Boulder! That was great. Beautiful filming as always, Ryan! 👍
Thanks my friend!
Wow lovely place, thanks Ryan...I never thank mom and dad enough, great reminder! Look forward to seeing more good stuff, Boulder on the Bucket list.🎥☀️
The hills are alive with sound of Ryan! 🌞🌞💚✌😎
Haha, yes they are!
You are so lucky to have so many bike routes in your town.
Truly
Ahh! I've lived in Boulder longer than anywhere else in my adult life. Went to school here. Got my first job here. Now I'm leaving Boulder in a few weeks and I can't express how much I'll miss this place. This city will always take my breath away. I don't think I've ever associated with a video as much as I did with this one. THANKS RYAN!!
Lovely video Ryan. You're the right man in the right place. More power to you.
We moved from ocean living in Ft Lauderdale to Boulder 50 yrs ago and have not looked back.
We raised our son and daughter here- our son was a bicycle racer, ski racer, and now a helicopter
and jet pilot transporting COVID-19 folks to hospitals in Southern Ca. and still riding his bike
near sheep farms and our daughter chose the Univ of Denver to add to her life's repertoire.
We embrace the views of the foothills and backrange daily and we are truly appreciative
of the wonderful life this breathtaking place has given us. It is not only the place, but the
people drawn to our Boulder are phenomenal ! Emelita and David
Great video Ryan many thanks. I used to work at StorageTek just down the road from Boulder and managed to get over there a number of times for meetings. Really loved the vibe of the town, friendlyness of the locals and just being there. Even managed to stay at the Boulderado once. Still have good friends in the area and I plan to get back sometime to visit.
I lived in Colorado for 32 years. I raised my children there, and worked in Boulder for 20 years. I'm now in Ireland, and miss Colorado very much. Thank you for making this video. Its given me a taste of home.
Smiling ear to ear! Love it Rye and you too!!
YAY! Hope you're doing well Ellen
Beautiful!!! 😍
Thanks for taking us on the ride. Happy Sunday!
Awesome footage ..... I was there in the late 8o"s showing dogs I was there in July yep you are right everything is brown but Boulder was such a cool place...
Thank you. It was great. Well done another good one from you👍 Wot a beautiful place to live.👌💪
I would have enjoyed going back to Boulder.. I had lived there for a short 3 years. From 1975 to 1978.. I thought it to be a fantastic experience... Thanks for the trip..!
I enjoyed watching the tour of Boulder Co. The air even looks clean and refreshing.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful city with us! Always a treat!
My pleasure 😊
Love the video and your positive attitude!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful hometown with us :)
Love it Ryan!!
Moved to Boulder 2 years ago. Biking here is insanely beautiful!
Love the spring green..
Awesome video! Beautiful Boulder..
Very cool Ryan, I was visiting in Boulder 5 yrs ago, and enjoyed driving around, I remember the places in this video. Will have to come back soon!
Such a great resource! I’ll be back in Spring next year to enjoy what I see here.
Thanks for the panorama. We were fortunate to be in Boulder 1 year ago today with our grandson. Hiked at Chataugua Park and then rode mountain bikes at Hall Ranch area. My wife and I have both said that if we ever win the lottery, we know where we are going to move to. Until then we will enjoy the heck out of this video.
Hall ranch is great!! Hope you can visit again someday
Amazing footage. Will definitely check out more of your videos
Those flat Iron shots are just stunning!!!! It has been many years since I have been to Boulder. My wife and I did a rock climbing road trip in 1998 when we were in Medical school. Climbed and camped along the Mexico Texas and New Mexico border and then shot up to Boulder and climbed in Eldorado Canyon. Amazing little place in this world.
Eldorado canyon is legendary!
It's good that you don't take Boulder for granted. This was a great look around. My part of Texas is getting hot and showing the signs of turning brown. I LOVE GREEN!
Green makes everything better!
Great video! Making me miss this place!
Also thanks for droning responsibly, they're a beautiful tool when used respectfully, awful when not! You cheer me up every day!
I try my best to not piss people off ;)
Thank you so much for this! I was born and raised in Boulder, and even though I don't live too far away now, I definitely don't get up there enough! I like to go to the trailhead south of town because I think the view of the Flatirons south of town is even more spectacular than the commonly photographed view. :-) It was fun getting the aerial shots!
Yeah, the southern views are pretty epic
nice video, and yes boulder is an awsome place!!
I just discovered your channel, and enjoying it. I was born in Boulder 77 years ago, and it was a very different town in the 40s and 50s. The outdoor recreation/fitness boom transformed Boiulder, mostly for the better. The entire time I was growing up and going to college there, I never saw an adult on a bicycle nor running. Most people don't realize what a revolution we've experienced. I live in NM now but still return to visit friends, and yes I ride and run there, and I'm not along in being an older adult runner and cyclist.
I am NOT Amy Perry; I am Bob Julyan.
Your area is beautiful Ryan, ❤ it
I love Boulder! It's absolutely beautiful It's actually where I live. I'll have to take my son out for bike rides once he gets a little older! My husband and I drive up to a beautiful spot and watch the sunrise sometimes
Great tour of Boulder. From now on whenever I want to show my friends in California my glorious hometown, I'm gonna link them to this video!
Right on!!
Please don't, it may encourage them to move here. They are already destroying what Boulder is, or was....
Breathtaking view!
You're fixin' to make me plan my first bikepacking trip - from COS to Boulder - with all them fancy drone shots! 😜
Amazing place, my friend! 🇧🇷
I'm definitely going to visit someday (and stay if I like it enough!). Beautiful sights and wonderful bike infrastructure.
Love the footage man, great job.
Thanks my man!
That was a lot of fun! I watched with my kids and it was the same tour I’d like to give them today.
I’m right on! It’s an easy little tour f boulder
Wow that's pretty cool
I.ve been to Boulder a few times it is very beatiful. Good to see you doing your thing.
Great content!
I connected my laptop to my big screen TV just for you video, thank you and mother nature for the beautiful views
Right on! This is a good one for the big screen!
Gorgeous place! I had such a memorable experience there I even got a fantastic piece done on my forearm of those mountains. It shall be my soon to be home early 2021.
Beautiful video!
Weird to watch a video of my hometown lmao. Glad you fared well in quarantine
Wow, so nice there 😀
Love it...Boulder is gorgeous.....
It sure is!
I love my city, too! Nice Photolog!
Wonderful! It's great fun to watch your videos. God bless!
Thanks
Beautiful Boulder
My family and I stayed outside of Nederland in a cabin in 2016. I had brought my road bike and was able to get one day of riding in, we were only there three days. Those shots were great reminders of my ride, I rode down Magnolia Rd to I believe is Hwy 36, then down into Boulder. I made my way over to Flagstaff Rd and climbed up several miles, then came back down to Boulder. I circumnavigated the outer edge of town and went through the University making my way over to Pearl Street were I met up with my family. I ended up with 36+ miles and it definitely one of my favorites.
That’s a great route!!
Great video
You are blessed in many ways, my friend!
Yes I am!
Beautiful filming and editing!
Love Boulder too!
Thanks Ryan for the tour. We planned to vacation in Boulder this summer. But COVID changed all that. Your video makes me want to go even more. Will plan again for summer 2021.
Hope you get here another time!
Never been toBoulder, I'm just sitting here in Germany and only hear great things about Boulder :D
And after seeing this I have to say, dang they are right, it's so pretty :D
+ Manuel Nurnberg is prettier. Give me Germany over Boulder ANY DAY (I live 13 miles from Boulder), but lived in Nurnberg for 2 years.
@@recoveringbaptist2023 Nürnberg is really pretty, for sure and I have no intention of leaving. But the mountains and all around boulder are pretty majestic. But I guess, as always, when you live in a place the beauty gets lost in the day to day grind.
Beautiful place you live in Ryan.
Thank you.... 👍
Boulder Native here, let's snag a burrito and run Shanahan ridge!
I lived in Boulder in the early 80s… I really miss that place ❤
Good day Duzer!
My youngest is a senior at CU Boulder, and her older sister graduated from Mines. Two phenomenal schools in beautiful locations. Back home in Illinois, I’m a very jealous, but proud, mom. BTW, I have to say, the Boulder Star is a bit sad compared to the Mines M on Lookout Mountain.
Boulder should have it's own Crayola Green named after it - Boulder G - I send pictures of it to friends and they all think I photoshop it...but nope it's gloriously green all on it's own!! Love these drone shots!! Also grew up in Boulder and still remember the Mork and Mindy days!
Hi Ryan, Jeyanth from India. Thanks for the video, i loved it. Power to mother nature. I get to see places because of you. Keep up the great work. Thanks
I'm happy to share this with you! Thanks for watching
Gee I thought Boulder was bigger. I learned something. Professor Duzer strikes again!
We're just a little ol town by the mountains!
More running with Ryan please, great videos man!!
Those are tough to make right now because of covid, hopefully in the near future. Cheers buddy!
Couple months ago I commented on one of your videos to tell you I would ride SF-LA, just completed the ride a couple days ago. Rode a Specialized Langster which is a fixed gear and packed all of my gear up front.Really nice experience. Look forward to following your videos
That's awesome! Fixed gear is impressive, way to go!
when I see, Ryan, riding Boulder - I give like without even watching :)
Right on my friend!! I appreciate that
Amazing area. No wonder you don't own a car. Riding a bike there would be so outstanding. Headed out to recharge my soul here in Vermont in a few. Riding on the weekends makes the weeks work more bearable. Take care and stay safe, Al
Yeah, no car needed in Boulder! Hope you’re doing well my friend
Love that place
Wow! Beautiful place indeed! The day I'll visit USA I'll surely pass by! Thanks for sharing! :)
Come visit!
Rode there for first time last month and fell in love with boulder creek path and Marshall Mesa! Cant wait to go back in July!
Right on! Marshall Mesa is beautiful
Good stuff man. Rode boulder a lot a couple weeks ago. Greenest id ever seen
Love my home town :)
it's beautiful, i havent biked so much around the flatirons, but i like going up north like the nelson loop by the local farms
You took the path less traveled by and it has made all the difference.
Keep up the good work. I hope to see my old house in the video. CHeers.
Nice video Ryan
Been to Boulder a few times. Medtronic Surgicak Navigation is based in Boulder. Beautiful nature and the town has great restaraunts and bars. Great to see hear how lucky you feel to be born raised and still living there. I feel the same about Western Maryland and the Applachian mountains.
The Appalachians are beautiful!!
Next week I start my vacation trip! Panhandle/GAP/C&O and maybe the capital crescent if I have time and energy.
No crashies, no flatties, no whammies, no apex predators, no riots, no dine-in.
The theme of my last trip was "detour", I think the theme of this one is just "no".
Right on! have a great time out there, and watch out for Veliciraptors!
I only stayed in boulder I wish I had stayed long enough to ride/hike up that path into the flatirons, so enchanting!
It’s a beautiful place to ride
I love your video shot of the hospital followed by the drone video of a cemetery! Life comes full circles. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Boulder 4 times in my life, almost moved there in 1980, but the wife (now ex) didn’t want to:-)
Oh, nice catch on that, I didn't even put that together ;)
Great video. It looks like the best time to go out West is June . I am becoming more convinced that the bike will be totally done and I will be riding out west with the cargo Ebike when I retire in a year and a half. I am working on solar so I can go very remote to get away from city lights in hopes of great sites to view the stars with a small telescope. You never know we may cross paths.
