Why do Indians change their accent when they address western audience ? Does greatness gets reduced if one speaks naturally influenced by his/her mother tongue ?

Because Indians have the flexibility to change their accents according to the audience.
Not many can do.

It is mostly because western audiences don’t understand the accent until you twist your words that are similar. It is not always true but it becomes a habit so others can understand and Indians can mock. Lol
