Yeah for real, I think that joke was told almost perfectly because it was by him. If you try his cadence without the accent it doesn’t work, so the delivery is super fresh
It truly is. Like honestly I've been watching this show for years and that's probably one of the absolute most well crafted and well executed minutes in the history of the show. Genius shit.
The most impressive thing about that gay man argument joke, in my opinion: It's 80 seconds long. When I watched it the first time, I thought, 'went a little under time, but it doesn't matter. Great joke, I was waiting for another to see if the 2nd half of the minute will be funny!' No. He went over. Redban just waited for him to end. It was long because of how talented he is and putting the audience in the moment. It also earned about 4 short applause breaks. Unbelievable timing!! What a fu**ing star.
Don’t know if you remember but when Harland was on he said to a comedian sometimes all you gotta do is make a confused face look around and that can add some humor to a joke. This guy does that perfectly.
I don't know if it's common in the stand up comedians' circle, but showing so much admiration to a rising comedy genius (cause Ari is literally a genius) by Tony and every guest on the show, instead of them feeling intimidated, is so f... cool. Huge respect for that.
Perfect timing. I finally got a buddy to watch Kill Tony last night (most recent episode) and he reported back that he thought the "Estonian dude" was the funniest and that he may have a new favorite show. Sending him this as a follow up. I already recommended episode 574 (Gillis, Mark, Ari, Rogan) for him to watch next as we wait on the freshy to come Monday. His introduction to KT was also his introduction to Shane Gillis so I thought this would be a perfect next episode to watch for him.
