- Опубліковано 20 жов 2016
- Performers from the Korean National Gugak Center present a variety of Korean folk music and dance to demonstrate the abundance and profoundness of Korea’s traditional heritage. It includes sinawi, an instrumental ensemble with improvisation derived from shamanistic music, and pansori, a deeply moving musical genre combining narrative song, storytelling, and body movements accompanied by solo percussion. Performed as part of the First Annual Korean Culture Week, presented by the Korean Cultural Center, Washington, D.C.

구슬픈 역사 속에서도 늘 살아내왔던 우리 조상님들의 얼이 담겨있는 소리네요
I saw a performance at the Gugak Center in 2019. It was absolutely spectacular and entirely free. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.
in the 1990s I lived in Korea....I just to go to the country side to listen to trational folk music....this brings back memories...thanks...

Love it!
I was watching a reaction video and someone mentioned combining Gugak with hip-hop. Great idea!!!
I recommend listening to “Daechwita” by Agust D or “Ddaeng” by BTS
Satanicpornocultshop sometimes does it "meat not wrapped" from their album Oyasumi is a pretty good example

They are MING in China the hats and dress remind me that
actually before ming dynasty there was yuan dynasty and during yuan, korean cultures were had a big hit at chinese mainland
that's why ming's cloth looks similar to korean one
One of few aspects that I can kinda get a Turkic undertone vibe from Korean culture. Soooo cool
