I used "woman" in the title as my channel but of course these tips are for everyone. I'm definitely teaching all of my kids (two of which are boys) how to clean and keep tings tidy! Looking for more tips? Check out my weekly cleaning routine: ua-cam.com/video/X_RMuFRn9Ak/v-deo.html
A new idea that I just learned from the comment from another person. Was to place your sponges or magic erasers on the top rack of the dishwasher before you run it. I tried it and it was like pulling a new sponge out. I love scrub daddy sponges. They clean everything without scratching. So nice to use in microwave and on my quartz countertops. I've just started watching you. I love your content and that you say it concisely and under 10 minutes.
Thank you so much - that makes me so happy! And great tip about the sponges. I also love putting wet sponges in the microwave for 1-2 minutes to disinfect them. I'll have to check out the Scrub Daddy sponges - I have heard a lot about them. Thank you so much for your support! ☺
Thank you for motivating me. After I watched one of your videos. I went downstairs to the kitchen. Wiped down two appliances. I gave a good wipe down where the cat eats his food, as he's a messy eater. So now it's all nice and clean.
No, no makeup brushes in the dishwasher unless you don’t care about them. When washing brushes you need to avoid getting the ferrule wet - it will loosen the bristles.
My mom use to say, take 10 mins and clean something daily you'll be surprised how that 10mins turns into 30. Your house will always be clean and decluttered..😍
I always leave the drawer of washer open to let it dry out to prevent mold growth. To prevent lots of water drips open the detergent drawer and let drip into drum, then you can leave lid partially closed.
@@tarynmaria_ i meant i leave the door open all the way and open the drawer to let everything drip out, once water has stopped trickling ( a few seconds), i partially close the door. Starting doing this to prevent water puddles on the floor.
I use a Dirt Devil Vibe vac with a long cord. Super light weight and small and picks up great with a brush roll and is very affordable. I love it mostly Bcuz it’s a little beast with cat hair and fine dirt. It’s the only thing I use that is able to keep up with all these cats and has a removable bottom for a hand vac. I use the bigger vac at times just for the hose use and it has a retractable cord (I also use the brush hose as a duster-Bcuz cats again lol).
Hi! Thank you so much -they are Electrolux! We got them in 2011 and I totally recommend them. Knock on wood we've never had any issues and they get a lot of use ☺ thank you so much for watching!
Good ideas, except I use Baking soda, vinegar and a bit of dish liquid or Murphy's oil diluted in spray bottles which I keep around the house. Every time I finish in the shower or bathroom, I spray down the item (sink, toilet, shower enclosure) and either wipe it or use the scrub brush. Same in the kitchen. I keep dirty dishes in the dishwasher, not the sink. I unload the dishes right after they are done, dabbing the wet pooled areas and letting them air dry for 5 minutes but they putting it all away. So my counters and sink stay clear. I sweep, dust and clean windows whenever I'm on a phone call (using headphones, earphones or speaker mode.) I vacuum several times a week, often can finish the entire house in 10 or 15 minutes. I am poor at "tidying" so I will use your methods of the 10 minute tidy. One thing I also do is do laundry each day, so I can keep the house free and clear of dirty and smelly items, which also reduces stains and other issues. I use tv watching time, or phone time to fold clean laundry. I think keeping things clean as I go makes the house easier to live in.
Love these tips! Thank you so much for sharing. Let me know if you like the 10 minute tidy. I am always so shocked at how much I can actually get done in just 10 quick minutes! Thank you so much for watching and commenting ☺
Barkeepers friend is also available in a liquid version, which a lot of Dutch people use very often. It's called Cif cream. Maybe you can find this in your supermarket too. A shiny sink in a minute we all want, right?
Thank you so much, Jean! This was one of my first UA-cam videos so I didn't have the sound quite figured out. My newer videos have MUCH better sound quality 😊
I always thought this was normal but I wash my toothbrush in the dishwasher, I don't know if most people do that or not. You wouldn't believe how nasty they are even just after a few weeks. I should do it more often but I'm bad at timing it right so I have my toothbrush when I need it 😅
Hi! I use this one bit.ly/3yh4k58 (it's a little pricey but it works well), it's a Dyson cordless. I would say the charge time is about 3 hours but I generally leave it on the charger when I'm not using it. Thank you so much for watching 😊
For everyday cleaning I usually just use a soapy hand but for something stronger you could definitely use just some baking soda! I also like barkeepers friend - the powder version - a lot, for sinks! Thank you so much for commenting! 😊
@@tarynmaria_ Thank you, I just made my own wipes with paper towels and soaked them with the Vinegar soap from Dollar tree. I cleans the mirrors without streak and cleaned the sink and counter :)

It's safe as long as you don't wash them with your dishes since the dishwasher sterilizes items. But I get it - my mother in law hates when I wash dog bowls in the dishwasher 😀
Exactly! It’s so gross 🤢🤢!!! Also, dumping dirty water from washing the floor is repulsively disgusting as well… should be done in a utility sink, if you don’t have one, the shower stall. I saw an interior “designer” on YT saying she couldn’t wait to wash her baby in the kitchen sink…YIKES!!!!
