I love watching your channel and seeing the techniques you use that are passed down. I’m inspired by you to do the same on my own trapping adventures but working the camera outside in the cold is not easy work and you make it look so easy and natural!
Thank you Robert, another wonderful tagalong. Those videos are a real treat. The one song including a version of the Serenity Prayer was especially heart-stirring. Have a great day my brother.
I'm not a trapper and ... I don't know ... probably never will be . BUT ' I 100% support trapping done the way people like you do it . I guess if an experienced trapper took me under thier wing for a few winter's ' I could get into it . But I could never do it without at least some knowledge of what your doing . But ! Thing is I'm so sick of the South and thier plastic money ' fake human rights and the general whirlwind of stupidity . Now that I'm on the edge of my retirement years I am wholeheartedly looking North ❤ . Sooooo 😊 what the hell could I do up there that do dose for me what it IS do for You . Believe me ! You and I ' we pick our onion from the same row . Oh ... the reason I comented today is . Trying to figure out how the critters are pulling your traps out of your really nice mail boxes . Maybe if the hangering cables were looped off to the side and not straight forward . Be Well ❤
I’m not one to take the wind out of your sail but, if you were not born into that type of life style or lived it at a very young age you will absolutely have a difficult time getting started and coping with the Northern life style . Even the far north is more difficult than just the north regions of the U S A. That is where I think you are at just because of your comment . Stay where you are at your ( close to retirement age ) tuck your wings in , pay off any outstanding debt, move away from artificial people with their plastic. You can stay in the warmer climates and still learn to trap all states allow it under proper licensing. Enjoy your retirement as it comes because the older you get the more difficult your life becomes too. Been there. The north is unforgiving as is the desert. One wrong move or one wrong mishap and your life is in jeopardy. Think long and hard about what you are wanting to do. Or go there for a winter visit. Talk to the locals about it all. Good luck, wish you the best.👍🇺🇸😎✌🏻🙏🏽
