Robert really appreciate the time and effort you put into making your videos. It's nice to see you getting some return on the trapline. Thanks for letting us tag along with you.
Move the traps another 4 inches away from the bait and use spruce boughs to form a type of cone cubby set that also covers the bait so the birds won't bother it
Hopefully your luck continues Robert. Your bannock/jam ratio was perfect 👌 Keep trucking Robert✌ Hope Dorothy makes it for the clearing season 👍 Awesome Marten catches.
Really enjoy your videos, trapping crafts and tool making, can you make a video and show us how you sharpen your chainsaw (Dorothy) it appears that your saw can really cut. Thanks again for your videos
Hey Robert. Let me know your t-shirt size and I will send you a Dead Pine Trapper t-shirt (same logo as my channel). I’m a teacher in Prince George BC and take students out to my trapline. Love your videos! Mussi cho
Maybe your marten traps is too close to the bait and the martens are trying to reach it idk that’s the only thing I can think why you catch them marten by the arm but like the videos yo
Just to let you know about youtube.. If you get a comment it's best to comment back. Every little bit helps to get more points "if you will" with youtube! Just saying...
Ok Try this again. My husband is a retired professional trapper and suggests that to rid yourself of foot catches in traps. Don't make pole set too steep. Or close the "v" in trigger closer together for body catches. Or modify traps and use pan triggers. He used to use pan triggers on all his pole sets. Anyhow good luck. Awesome videos.

N maybe increase the reach distance so they think they can't reach anyway? Maybe set the trap further toward the ground. Thanks for your retired husband's advice n your time to write it! Congrats, Robert, on the 2 Marten!! And Wolverine & Lynx tracks are awesome. Also if that was a Bull Moose, you'd see the dews in each track! Thanks for the vids, Robert! I didn't know we could write you! Stay awesome, Badine!! PEACE!!!

Make some boxes bro. That worked for me.
Can you please tell us which Bushnell camera did you use at 5:17 ? Cha miigwetch
Hope you find out who is messing with your trapline, and WHY????
hey you would know the name of them little white things with the black spot on the tail looks like a ferret
Move the trap further away from the trap. So they are forced to go through the trap and can't reach the bait with their front legs.
When did you catch a wolverine ?
Robert, maybe your trap is too close with your bait ????
That Is what I am thinking. They are just reaching in instead of going through the trap.
And the martens tried to grab the bait with their legs.
