  • In jewelry photography, when photographing for example a diamond ring, which is very small yet has an intricate design, it requires a different approach. The images really need to be able to showcase the fine detail and quality of the product, regardless of how tiny the size is. For this shoot, I worked with a diamond-encrusted, gold ring welpix.com/jewe...

Nice. How did you make the paper disappear on the main photo? Did you edit the image? Because you didn’t show it

Best camera and macro lense for diamonds photography? I am thinking to get Canon eos m50 + laowa65mm.

Very cool. How would you shoot diamond jewelry for an online shop on a white background? What lights do I need? Do continuos lightsources work too or does it need to be flash lights?

I shoot with strobes but continues lighting works as well. Pure white background can do done best with use of Photoshop welpix.com/white-background-product-photography/

What is your preferred lens for shooting rings? I've been using an 85mm + 25mm extension tube but I'm super happy with results.

Hello ! Gorgeous photo ! Really inspiring. My question is : have you used another light source than the focusing one ? Thanks !

It was a combination of the light only that you see in the video

@@Welpix I know and I really adore such an approach. Personally I tend to complicate things that as you shown can be kept simple. Keep up a good work :)

Which f/stop do you shoot rings at when focus stacking? 90mm macro lens

Each lens has a "sweet spot" around f8. Try that with your focus stack.
