"The misery of others is the taste of honey," is saying to derive pleasure from the suffering of those you envy, though not quite to the point of sadism.
The lyrics are little more on the nose than the title alone, however there are a quite a few layers here and I'm not qualified to completely break it down. It's about being stung and watching with pleasure as the one that hurt you is now suffering to those they've surrounded themselves with, having fangs bared in all directions for the same reason you were hurt. I don't understand the second half enough to make any sort of analysis, but it does touch on accepting others regardless of who they are or choose to become, and it's very much an allegory for relationships formed on a foundation of superiority, hence the reference to the idiom referring to envy.

Since in the picture the ribbon going across the screen reveals someone with red hair and red eyes your comment makes me think that the song is about only seeing one part of someone (probably their appearance from this song) and only appreciating that part of them because that's all you can see, and you will never realise what all of the other valuable parts of them are.

@@DrBluefoxI'm french and I'd say it is pretty understandable, "tu ne veux meme pas y croire" is really well said, but not the word "bonheur".
Her french is not bad, but in japanese, the R in french is prononce L, so for a french, it's a bit difficult to understand correctly without the subtitle, but it's not a big deal
I feel like Mili in general changes how some words are pronounced or splits them up in weird ways even in their English songs. I am not saying the pronouncuation is bad but there is a degree of artistic freedom to make a song sound better

I feel like this has a connection to Fuchisho, not just because of the mix of Japanese and French in the lyrics but the overall message it gives. One of the common themes in these are of course, talk about flowers. About honey bees and butterflies both being pollen carriers for flowers.
I haven't been able to look that far into Fuchisho and I can only wait a few days later until I'll have the time to analyse these two songs and see further connections in between, but that's what I can put together now.

There are many - positive, let it be said - reasons why no other musical group will ever be able to substitute Mili.
Edit: This song is one of them. Never have I ever seen another group implement two languages into one song so beautifully.
There are a lot of asian songs which include english and others too. You really must have not going through a lot of music then..

I would recommend Sound Horizon if you want to check them out. The main composer is Revo and he invites other Japanese singers to sing his songs. Each album he produces is a story and his lives are more like theatre. He includes French, German, English, some Spanish and Arabic words in his songs. He always incorporates other languages in his songs. (If you watch anime you might know him as Linked Horizon when he sings for Attack on Titan)
