We go in so fast because of our biological clocks or whatever we want in a relationship until we don't even take the time to process to see if we will like him after the first, second, third, fourth or fifth date - he definitely doesn't deserve to know my future plans if he is not willing to date me properly.
Women forget sometimes that they have their own thoughts and those thoughts matter more than having some worthless male partner in their life. It’s good to share your life and to enter into love but not at the expense of your thought life, of your personality, your values and your emotional health.
This is my main problem in dating. I think it’s time to stop believing there’s someone out there for me. I even now try not be be sexy, most of the time I wear jeans and a covered up top but my “aesthetic automatically puts me into the “young asian school girl” fantasy. which ends up me being single after the 2 months when they decide to move on to their next fantasy checklist.
That may be true that men look at a woman as sexual object. But thats up to you to turn the table around. Just tell him, that u are not a sexual object.
As women, we must stop blaming men for all of our decisions - we must step back and take a critical and honest look at the choices that we make and stop giving all of our power over to men. Denise Clarke I don’t think we’re choosing these men. I think we’re not telling them to take a hike when they show us that they think garbage thoughts and they don’t value us. We buy into social myths and lies that pressure us to date down if we don’t want to be single for a decade. We buy into men’s manipulations that make us feel like we can somehow help them do the work that only they can do on themselves. We learn to be too endearing and to give men far too much credit because we need and want their love. But let’s get one thing straight: even with all that said, if someone comes into our life and hurts us they are responsible for the damage they cause. 1:49 “People are struggling in relationships”. -- NO, people are struggling with THEMSELVES! Unstable, unhappy people make things difficult. People with no inner peace make things difficult. People with unresolved childhood trauma make things difficult. People who are the opposite shouldn’t even continue to date someone or get into a relationship after seeing the first few red flags. Cut them off and move on. Simple fix.

I totally agree with his point (9min) of opening up about how you feel as a man early on before it gets deep and you end up hurting her, because I did that 2yrs ago and ended a relationship. It hurt but we saved each others feelings and am happy to say we are good Friends. Funny thing is that our dreams came true after we ended the relationship, so it was a great step in faith.

DeVon Franklin has an honesty about his life which makes one think about his/her trueness. I like how he speaks about his experiences as a constant work in process and that he encourages a woman to not sub standard herself but to give her man that availability to grow and if he’s not willing to reflect and mature, well then move on. I like too how he expressed his openness to communication with groups but was so sincere that within the softness and tenderness of the quiet moments that’s where his communication skills were challenged. The scariest part about men not thinking, which I heard from a 60yr old man. Lust don't return nothing. He explain how he wished he was more on his business, he's broke now, none of his kids will come around him, his health is bad and he's seeing someone he's not attractive too, just to get help and not be alone. He wish he could take it all back. Sadness story I ever heard. U play now, YOU play later.💯...he explain just how stupid he was with his ex wife and children, he lost alot playing around with those side chicks. Sheesh💯 What a wake up call, just to late.

its great to read the Bible after I read the Bible as a men I was set up my self not to have sex before marriage I got married I wait my self for 6 years the first 3 years I was reading the Bible and I was not seek any woman then the 3 years I was making friends woman friends also I start to think that cheating is some about me not about others I mean if I am in relationship I don’t put my self cheating my wife I say my I won’t cheat my self that help me to hold my sexual feeling as a men I was struggling on dream and some my sexuality was high I want to go and have sex but I said to my self I want cheating my self some how I was successful controlling my self then I was asking woman I am interring on in the but I tell them of you want to be my wife in good way some how 2 woman said no but we are still best friend the good news is some how I met good woman I was so good friend with her I was thinking how to tell her but some how and she said Do you love me lol I said yes so we are 2 years in our relationship and we are best friend we work out our different some time we disagree but we honest our self in God willing we are set to get married in 2 years so as men prepare your self to be good men and practice how to be good housebound,,, we go to church we are so good friends that’s good life brothers

Vulnerability leads to victory
Many of the men I know don't see the value in me wanting to wait for marriage. They look at it as some sort form of torture when it's for a greater good in the end. Not losing hope that I will one day find a men who will see value in waiting and understand the sanctity of sex in marriage 🙏🙏

Most men don’t have patience and discipline. And if this is to hard for them to commit to in order to be with you than they are not for you. When the right man comes trust me sis you not even gonna have to stress the point stuff will fall in line naturally

We all have a past at the end of the day, and I believe that people can change. I personally didn't always have the same views about marriage/waiting like I do now. Not being a virgin doesnt mean that you can't change your life around and start over.

I've noticed that both you show and this show, talked a lot about men and healing but I have to say through your show and now evolving and seeking healing from other shows I and healing learning to heal. I am at peace I've never been at peace before I'm 39 and I'm just learning to heal and it is the most incredible feeling and I have you guys to thank for that I thank you guys so much.
1:49 “People are struggling in relationships”. -- NO, people are struggling with THEMSELVES! Unstable, unhappy people make things difficult. People with no inner peace make things difficult. People with unresolved childhood trauma make things difficult. People who are the opposite shouldn’t even continue to date someone or get into a relationship after seeing the first few red flags. Cut them off and move on. Simple fix.
OUCH! Everyone has some issues, most just mass them and suppressed them. Some are living in denial, fear, and faked!
Being in an open honest relationship and honest communication helps, but respect and love change the course of making it difficult! 💝

I totally agree with his point (9min) of opening up about how you feel as a man early on before it gets deep and you end up hurting her, because I did that 2yrs ago and ended a relationship. It hurt but we saved each others feelings and am happy to say we are good Friends. Funny thing is that our dreams came true after we ended the relationship, so it was a great step in faith.

DeVon Franklin has an honesty about his life which makes one think about his/her trueness. I like how he speaks about his experiences as a constant work in process and that he encourages a woman to not sub standard herself but to give her man that availability to grow and if he’s not willing to reflect and mature, well then move on. I like too how he expressed his openness to communication with groups but was so sincere that within the softness and tenderness of the quiet moments that’s where his communication skills were challenged. Man this interview is sooooo great! I love to see men have these type of conversations! Men are taught to wear so many masks (Your book Lewis on this is great) and have no safe place to have these beneath surface talks without being judged or the fear of being vulnerable! I'm a fan of Devon Franklin and his work! He's so open to his experiences and even still have ladders to climb in his wholeness. This goes to show that you don't have to be perfect to help others but what makes a person perfect for this work is the ability to continue their own work!! Great episode!!

The scariest part about men not thinking, which I heard from a 60yr old man. Lust don't return nothing. He explain how he wished he was more on his business, he's broke now, none of his kids will come around him, his health is bad and he's seeing someone he's not attractive too, just to get help and not be alone. He wish he could take it all back. Sadness story I ever heard. U play now, YOU play later.💯...he explain just how stupid he was with his ex wife and children, he lost alot playing around with those side chicks. Sheesh💯 What a wake up call, just to late.

Dam I like this ! As a women who was cheated on and it caused a divorce, I am now a single mom while my ex goes about his business and tastes all the women he can out there. It is sad to see that this will be his demise , but my son and I will NOT sit around and wait , which Is why I made the BEST choice ever to leave the marriage. My son and I are so happy now !! Way happier than when I was married. This 60 yr old man needs to talk to all these man cheaters out here !

It’s a struggle bc people are struggling with themselves....from what I’ve seen, experienced and noticed.
The problem today is that there is lack of agape love if we can love ourselves than we would be able to treat others well. Sleeping around for example is doing a dishonor on ourselves and that's not love. Lack of agape love is the real issue I believe.
