I really enjoyed the entire series, I hope your back walking again soon!
Hey I follow your channel too Nigel! How crazy is that?
@@gymnosophist7471 Cool!
Nigel Saunders, The Bonsai Zone yeah I’m only a bonsai novice but you have been an inspiration and a great help!
Hey, Night Shift....I know you are not totally in love with the tank, but I honestly think that this might just be one of your best dioramas so far. The whole piece is very pleasing to the eye, well balanced and well executed.
The S.35 is one of my favorite tanks ever. You did it justice with this diorama. And with your injury, this is quite an achievement. Well done! I hope you'll get well soon.
It was my favourite to play in an old game called world war 2 online.
My man this is what I needed after a long day of school
There is nothing better than watching Uncle Nighshift build a diorama, while building a diorama.
Love that you used a French tank. They are rarely used. Excellent work! I was building tank dioramas back in the early ‘80s. Your work is truly impressive.
Dear Uncle Night Shift,
I fell off a ladder last month and broke both of my heels. I had just gotten an Eduard photoetched detail set for my Wespe. Alas, my poor Wespe and all of my other projects languish on my desk while I bang and scratch my walls up in my wheelchair.
I appreciate your videos so I can do my projects vicariously through you, especially since I know you are going through a similar ordeal. Cheers!
Damn, I'm so sorry to hear that! Stay strong and positive and those weeks will fly by much quicker!
This is such a joy to watch, I love it. As for the tank; personally I love the quirkier tanks and it's a nice break from the standard Shermans and Tigers. Might I even suggest you do a Italian Tankette diorama or something?
Get well soon and I can't wait for the Jagdpanther!
Idk why people didnt like the tank, its so interesting and it looks very distinct. Incredible result as always uncle nightshift😁
I thought the tank was cool personally. It's nice to see a subject that's not been done to death. The diorama ended up looking fantastic!
I still find it crazy that you create the ground work and make it look super realistic with the soil, tracks, grass, dirt, stones, etc. And then you paint it all black and paint over it. It looks so real and lifelike before you paint it. XD
I live for this channel...both times
It takes a lot of confidence and skill laying out some beautiful terrain, only to paint it all black and re-spray it all...! Great video and best modelling channel on the net.
The Mile Marker's a Work Of Art By ITSELF !!!
I LOVED IT, AND LOVED IT, AND LOVED IT, AND LOVED IT. GUESS WHAT I LOVED IT.
I actually like the tank in this diorama. I like it because it is not a commonly done tank. It's different and a welcome change. Well done and keep up the great work.
Beautiful atmospheric diorama. Makes you wonder what they are looking at. Can't be easy when constantly uncomfortable.
Get well soon Uncle Night Shift!!!
Thank you for showcasing the Somua S35, not a lot of people would work with old french tanks. Bravo
i liked how you handled the tank. showed it respect and dressed it up, gave it a crew and scenery to distract... i mean... for it to hide in.
best wishes on them legs.
Fantastic diorama. Its rare you see a duck in its natural environment like this.
Glad to hear that you're coming along.
I know you said you weren't passionate about the tank, but because it's rare to see these types of vehicles modeled, it really screams early war and serves as an eerie reminder of a very hard time. Really well done really nice job, and a great diorama. Sorry to hear about your broken leg, hope it heals great!
Hello from a polish guy in belgium
That grass shaker thing is fascinating. Very clever
I found that using peat moss in addition to the ground medium adds a fabulous texture that really picks up with dry brushing.
Is it just me or was this the funniest Night Shift yet? That Iron Maiden fan line killed me
Nice one friend, a night shift video every week sure does cheer me up from nearly every situation!
Your modeling skills are amazing and your humor is not that far behind.
Like the grass before and after painting it.
MARTIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As always, a triumph, my beautiful human.
The best part of dioramas. That you have to paint the actual rocks, sand and grass to look like actual rocks, sand and grass.
Waking up on a Saturday a few hours before work and watching these are the best thing to wake up to
I am gonna have to watch the tank-building vid now as I think the tank is very cool and something a little different !! Great build and vid - thanks
I liked the entire project. Glad you're healing.
Uncle Nightshift: in pain cause broken bones, rehabbing, minds overly occupied by all problems of world and pain
also Uncle Nightshift: *releases goddamn best ever set of videos of him making a gorgeous looking diorama*
I learn so much from watching these videos - on top of that they are fun to watch!
Every week I go through the same cycle of gradually getting bored of modelling, and then going into overdrive from excitement every time NightShift uploads.
The diorama looks scrumptious
I freaking love this weird snail of a French tank! Nice work with this diorama, very convincing ... it really came to life :) And hey, no problems with skipping a week ... we all want you to keep existing ;)
Glad you're starting to feel better. Take your time. Looking forward to your next project.
Always great when Friday rolls around. This turned out great!
Nightshift inventing sanding-less sanding by not actually sanding by...using a sanding motion for... Yes!
I love those French Tanks! And you've marvelous job! Get well soon, you naughty boy!!!
Im blown away by the whole diorama, but personally the milestone marker looks crazy good!!!
I love this tank its so refreshing with this colorful paint sceme
The tank is fine ,nice to see something not so common.
Keep up the good work
I see nine dislikes.....how can anyone not like this man??? Great modeller, great sense of humour and very honest and humble!! As always a brilliant finish. It has been great to follow ang given me plenty of idea. Very well done again
Absolutely stunning. Priming the whole base blew my mind. It's art.
Uncle Night Shift - Thanks for all you do, and most of all take some time to recover and for yourself. You do a great job on these videos, and the commentary even more so. Wishing you a speedy recovery and all the best. Cheers from Arizona US
After watching many of your videos I'm now convinced of painting static grass. I also love the progress you make with painting figures!
what is there not to love about the tank? i love the pre war tanks, and this French one is perfect. truly amazing
It's so pleasant when you get home tired and you hear the:"My Friends" :)
The diorama brought all the elements together so well! Love all the attention to detail, especially the little ivy on the wall!
Thank you for doing this tank! I absolutely adore French ww2 tanks and it was really enjoyable watching you work on it!
I am probably in the minority here, but I realy like that tank. Wonderfull work on everything, so inspiring.
Not sure why but this is definitely one of my favourite Dioramas from night shift
That mile marker was badass keep up the good work on your way to master modeling
The terrain is amazing.
I spend $10,000 bucks on washes...pigments...etc...mine look like crap...You...$ 6 bucks glue, dirt and water and it's a freakN masterpiece ...Awesome work...yet again....
Truly a work of art
Absolutely fantastic and I’m glad you’re recovering even though it’s slow. Thank you for the inspiration too. 👍
I love the feature of painting larger stones in different colours individually. This looks great!
the tank is cool is great, that you search for different themes not just the joy of the Gestalt. now I do the same with the static grass. GReat job!!!
This diorama actual makes the tank look great. You did a great job on it. Do what ever you need to do to heal up and get better.
Mr Nightshift. Great to see you back to the old days of adding abit of comedy to your videos, iron maiden fan😂😂. Amazing diorama yet again.
Learn something every time. Thank you so much.
This dio is so full of life! It’s truly a bit of history come to life. And the tank rocks! I like that you tried something so different, and I think it payed off.
Saying "Missing a week" makes it sound like a really bad thing dude. You're taking a break. Important and totally valid whatever the reasons for it.
Well, I'm trying to really keep the show weekly if I call it a "weekly show" :) But there's been a lot of stuff lately and the next project is going to be HUGE, so it takes more time to get it ready :)
Incredible job! Glad to hear you're healing up.
another kick-ass build! Wishing you a speedy recovery!
Nah man that tank is amazing, well done! And of course the diorama is amazing too. Hopefully you are well soon.
Get well!!!
It looks great!
I'd never know you weren't inspired for this build, Martin! Hope you recover quickly!
Awesome job, as always, Martin! You're raising the bar for all of us! I hope your recovery continues smoothly!
THIS IS AMAZING. I like this Tank ,it has a personality .
I really enjoyed the tank, especially the camo, figures were great too, and the final result is fantastic.
I absolutely love this
Each time I view a video I find myself wrapped up in your talent and completely awe struck . Keep up your amazing work "ma friend" piece be with you and get well soon. ✌🇨🇦✌
This diorama looks perfect!
Stunning result!
Thank you very much for your demonstration.
Last few days I been catching up with you content. I enjoyed this series, you gave me the motivation to complete what I started.
Loved the tank build..
Outstanding, as usual, and full of great instruction!
This is so incredible, it’s looks real!!
I find your workmanship....Amazing! Great workmanship!!!
You are the undisputed master man! 🙂
Thanks, Oncle Night Shift, for all the thought and work you put into your projects - and for sharing them with us. I'm a "Hobblit" myself, for now, and I hope that it's not that way too much longer.
Another AWESOME diorama...broken leg or not, you are a very talented modeler sir!!! Get well soon!!!
Fantastic result! Maybe one of your most radical and far reaching transformations, going from a weird looking tank after the first couple of coats into something that looks completely believable and realistic. Exceptional pre-visualisation of the scene.
great just great his work is amazing quality and I always learn something new in his videos the idea of priming everything in black and then painting again is a genius
I always look forward to your projects
Thank you , Uncle Martin .
I *love* this tank.
I really want to do one of those wild and funky Great War French camos
Great work. I love your method of extracting the scene coloring from the black primer - fantastic idea. This is your best diorama so far.
Bravo. Brilliant work. Heal quickly
The best way to cap off a shool day
Hey Night Shift, these videos on building scale model dioramas are absolutely accurate and inspiring for me so that I could build dioramas of my own.
Fantastic diorama process and I do love the Somua and its new colours! Thanks for sharing and get well soon!
