(Soda ash is used to soak the shirts you are going to tie dye. most people put their shirts to dry after you soak them. I like to use them right after I soak them. I just take as much of the water out of the garment. Soda Ash will help the garment keep the color and not spread when you rinse off dry after you tie dye. another important thing is that whatever soda ash is left in the the bucket, you can save it by putting it in a bottle with lid and reuse it. Dilute 1cup of soda ash to 1 gallon of water)

Hi I've just ordered the smaller heart. I've watched other videos and they say to laminate photos. That was my issue as I don't have one. This is for a dear friend. Thank you for clarifying that I could use either a normal photo or print on paper. None using photos. I'm new to Resin and have only made a few things so far. I know you suggest certain resins but they are expensive. I hope the one I have will work as it's a gift. Also I'm making a Pyramid memory for my Hubby for Christmas (I've tried a practice one it was ok but didn't place memory items inside thankfully) I'm unsure if you've made a Pyramid but will Subscribe thank you so much. I have not made a pyramid yes. Just make sure if you are working with different colors you must do it in layers meaning add 1 color and let it dry . Then the other. I have seen videos when’re they use different colors and it look like they pour them all at one but they don’t . I hope this helps . Let me know how it goes .
@@MomisDesigns Thank you for your reply. The pyramid I'm making is sea deep with memories inside plus a ship and treasure box and other items. I have learnt not to mix different resins as they don't fully cure.
I'd add a photo of the one I've done but I can't on here. The heart I now have 3 to do plus two clocks. Seems I may be a tad busy bur fingers crossed all will work out x

Can we use photo that is printed in photostudio?
Yes as long as it is printed on regular paper on an inkjet printer. Photo paper images fade

Do you need both of the epoxy marine ??
I think so. The curing may not be the same if you use different brands.
You will need to risk mixing with a different to see if it works .

And then why would I need marine epoxy 64oz then if I need to used marine epoxy resin and the harder 8oz
