- Due to the huge success of the first Only Fools & Horses location video I released video a few weeks ago, I'm back once again for part two! Bristol is full of Only Fools history, and in this video I've managed to track down some more of it despite all of the changes to the city...but still there's more to be discovered, so do subscribe for part three (and maybe four!) which will be coming soon! Hope you enjoy!

Thanks for the videos of OFAHs locations. I live in Bristol and was very fortunate to see Trigger getting his photo taken with his broom which he shows off to Rodney and Del. Passed some of the locations used in OFAHs alot of times.
Great memories of a iconic british comedy.
Very cool!
Great Ash keep em coming 👌
Thanks! Will do!
Great work again, a very enjoyable watch.
Always love everything to do with Only Fools and Horses, made me belly laugh so much. Thx mate great vid.
I’m also a massive fan and theirs a location in Ipswich which is only 15 minutes from me where Rodney is leading the Hirst the wrong way up a one way street, I’m sure you know the episode I mean, anyway thanks for doing these, I’ve always loved the show and still watch it on uk gold at weekends, great stuff 👍
The frogs legacy Christmas special from 1987 is where that scene was from
Subscribed, 1000 subscribers has passed! Thanks for the video
only just catching up on your ofah location videos....thankyou dude!!!
Thanks for watching!
Love these videos ❤️
Thank you Chris!
I've always said that despite OFAH supposedly being in Peckham, its amazing how it wasn't in Peckham at all.........most of it filmed in different locations which were nowhere near peckham LOL.......mostly around the Acton area for the original series, not to mention southall etc., thanks for sharing, love your content, keep it coming please bud :-)
Great info Ash , the episode where trigger takes flowers to a date in an italian restaurant is /or was across the road from the Fkyer and Bristol North Baths
Yes, got this in a later video! Thanks Graham!
I visited a few locations of the jolly boys outing in Margate, the best sitcom ever. Look forward to the doc their releasing about it soon. Top vid fella.
They are? Can’t wait to see that!

Great work 😃
Thanks 😁
I went to Ashton Gate recently for an away game..I am absolutely gutted.. I'll have to go back soon..Great video mate 😆😆😆
There's always next season! Hard on yer' left Dave!
Good work . Cheers bud
No problem Simon!
Another great video 👍. Seems I need to walk round Bedminster. Would love if these locations had plaques to commemorate that fact. Another show that had locations in Bristol is the Young ones.
Thanks for watching - part three coming soon!
Interesting video! The police station used in Dates was also used as the Fascist Pig Bank in The Young Ones 🤣
I didn't watch that show!
Over the wall in the Arnos Vale hotel is the old HTV studios where lots of 80s/90s stuff was filmed. Still has local ITV news filmed there but all the studios have been converted in to offices. Still a cool building to look at.
Very interesting! Thanks for this insight!
Thank-you really enjoyed the video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great to see the locations! I live in Bristol and was fortunate to see Del and Rodney in their Batman and Robin suits filming the scene when the car breaks down in Broadmead. Was given a signed photo by the security guards - all be it a colour copy! I remember in-between takes, seeing the two of them looking at TVs in what was Rumbelows back then, very comical given their attire!:-)
Amazing - a witness to TV history!
Love the locations that are similiar to how they looked in the episodes.
Yes me too, always nice when they survive the years!
I've seen Fatal Extraction 3 times this week. In fact I'm watching it right now 🤣
A classic! First episode I ever saw too!
Lovely Jubbly
I really thought that Nag's Head was actually in London. Oh well, live and learn. Great video.
Hardly any of the ofah was filmed in London
GOOD vid good impression 👍
Thanks 👍
Boyces autos still got the green fascia board up!! Crazy
I know this surprised me too!
Right opposite the bristol flyer is the pizza place where trigger takes his date on also. If you go back down to bedminster you can go to the club where del meets tony the dustman. There's so many to see..great video
I’ll have to do a part three I think - some good tips there!
@@FromTheAsh the ally next to hippodrome is where dirty Barry's is, bristol gas works(was) when dolls blow up. Redland In Clifton where Cassandra's exterior flat is, in dates, Stapleton road is where they used the nags head exterior in dates where they arrest del at the end, pub no longer there but still a location. Boyce's house nr the downs in Clifton, I could go on and on
That Boyce impression was pretty spot on
I pride myself on a good Boycie impression!
@@FromTheAsh I really love your content. I am quite interested in filming locations myself, and it can be quite upsetting to see aways left or whats become of these locations.
@@FromTheAsh also, when you look back at who has died over the years, reunions for OFAH will feel much more empty, because so many icons of the show have died. But the series is our way of keeping them alive.
Really enjoyed the 2 parts ... Triffic
Thank you…but there are more than 2 parts, I filmed many!
Great video Ash, and congratulations on reaching 1k subscribers.
Love the videos, from a fellow UA-camr I would like to say that you're great on camera, you're very engaging with the viewer.
Good luck in the future and if there's anything you want to chat about then just let me know, cheers.
Very kind of you, thank you for your encouragement!
Good to see best tv show of all
I agree!
BBC weather is rarely accurate IMHO, they just make it up. Anyway, great little vlog 👍
when they filmed the batman and robin episode my mum worked in moben kitchens and the crew used power from the shop when a generator broke down .my mum meet all the cast on the time they were recording it.
Love this!
Your welcome but sadly Boyce automobiles will not be there for much long. It’s going to be knock down for the new basketball ball Arena.
But you forgot one which is the nags head pub on west street / Chessel Street. It’s now called chessel heights but it change a lot
Lovely jubly !
Mange tout!
It was great to see the ‘ One Eleven Club ‘ car park were they meet up with Arnie ( never caught his surname) 😀, oddly enough the Italian restaurant were he fakes the heart attack is in Ealing , so many good episodes throughout its run , but ‘ Chain Gang’ has to be one of the best ......a few month’s after it aired, it was referenced during an appeal on Crimewatch for an actual conman who carried out a similar con .
Love that episode, that and Danger UXD were always faves of mine, and both in series 6!
In that episode Rodney picks up Cassandra and drives down the A316 going towards Richmond just before he pulls up behind the fake ambulance.
Going to check out the ‘restaurant’ where Arnie has his first ‘heart attack’ in Ealing soon 👍
@@FromTheAsh any episode in series 6 could’ve been a special in my opinion 👍
New subscriber but my question is why was episodes filmed in Bristol ?
Not a clue! Sorry!
We have a couple of locations in weston super mare as well
I know! Planning to come there this year & check them out!
The nightclub scene (when Del is gonna get his card stamped by Raquel) is on the same site as Arnos Manor Hotel...... I don't think its open anymore though
Tried to go inside but couldn't find the nightclub area.
I'm sure another iconic comedy 'The Young Ones' was filmed in Bishopston Bristol.
Gauntlet Thrown!!
I'll be honest I haven't seen it, but my folks used to enjoy that one! Perhaps I ought to try it!
Was filmed in Redland but technically on the Bishopston border
Some of the market scenes where filmed in chapel market islington london
Yes heard this 👍
@@FromTheAsh i have been to the chapel market ones including the alma pub etc
Chapel market is extremely local to me so had to do it
10:07 Rodney come home, you are not wrong
I would love to see tobacco Road and grandads allotment where it was fillmed
Thanks for watching! I'll do my best in future videos!
I'd like to see what the Nags Heads Pub looks like now
Apparently they used 3 or 4 different exteriors, and the interior was shot in a studio.
Boyce's car show room is sadly looking a bit tough these days I met John challis who plays boycey he was signing his new book 📖 at Waterstones in Wolverhampton I was talking to him for about 20 minutes a very very nice man I will never forget that Day
Yes I met John myself a few years ago also at a book signing by chance, really nice fella.
@@FromTheAsh proper down to earth 👍
@@cjcadventures Shame he's passed away now. 😥RIP John Challis
When do we get a part 3 london???????
I haven't forgotten - will get back to it eventually!
North Baths was used in The Young Ones
Yeah I'd heard this!
10:17 Street art work?....Well Rodney did have a GCE in Art, right?
Brilliant!
likely included some shots of Teachers series locations
Classic!
When you say some London locations, Series 1-5 filmed there
Yeah I know, looking forward to exploring! Might need to film a few episodes!
Look up Broadwalk shopping centre in Knowle.
I will for part three!
Great. I look forward to it. Fantastic videos.
You missed another bar, used to be called Seymours family club
Ah what did this serve as in the show? May have covered it in one of my other vids - there are 4 altogether 👍
@@FromTheAsh I watched 4, its in St Phillips, I'll see if I can find a scene but I believe it was a regular bar
No way I ain't having it I always thaught it was Peckham I can't believe it was Bristol I'm gobsmacked
Mad isn't it!
he should do a shoestring locations episode another show in Bristol
Thanks for the suggestion but I don't know that show - sorry!
We did a tour of the London and Margate ones last year.
Near Bristol in august might see if we can get down to these
Well worth a visit!
Rip Boyce 🍷🚬
Indeed. A national treasure.
Your right it is Rodney come Home
Ah good!
Rip boycie
Indeed - a legend. Met him once, couldn't have been nicer.
Prefer the views to loads of chat
Well you’ll always get a bit of both from me 👍
Series 6 not season this isn't America
Great spot - annoyed at myself for that one!
Rodney and cassie s flat and the newsagent s where debbie rodney s girlfriend works and the gay club a couple of gezzers
Rodney and Cass flat in his Part 1 vid
We would enjoy the video's alot more if you didn't talk so much! I thought that was a pretty good boycie impression though 👍
You can always skip those bits! A compromise - how about if I only talk as Boycie? 😂
@@FromTheAsh yes that's a deal 'boycie from now on please 🙂👌
