This was the first band I ever heard playing blast beats back in the day around 1988 or so. Scott Peterson couldn't play anything other than blast beats for the life of him, but man...when these guys took off, it was unlike anything I'd ever heard at the time. Loved it then, love it now.
See, this is the sort of audience reaction I remember CS getting all the time back in 85-88 or so. Hardly anybody liked them or even paid attention. Everyone thought they were a joke. When people talk about them today they make it sound like they had a huge following back then.
thanks for the upload brings back great memories..i first heard cs on college radio then picked up money talks on cassete and loved em since great fucking 80s thrash nuff said
one of the mighty bands to play some of the theme music to my teenaged years hehehe, this is definately a treasure and thanks for sharing it. I only ever got 1 video transferred from US to Australian and it was their final show. This is magic, the little weeners hehehe...
Fucking killer!!! I saw them when they played here for their "Money Talks" tour. I have been a big fan of theirs since Life in Grave demo. Then Convicted came out and it blew all my high school friends away. Thanks whoever posted this vid...
@Druffmaul See, the bands first album sold 25000 copys in it's first year out. I'd say that's a pretty big following for a crossover band in any time period.
Where did you get this footage?! Im a very big fan of them!! My uncle actually knew the drummer (scott peterson) back in high school. Please post more. Thanks for the awesome vid!
what they lacked in technical precision they made up for in attitude. Cryptic Slaughter did what a lot of other bands did, they just did it a little faster. Good band.
Nothing in their future except for pain and sorrow.Send us off to war to pay THEIR cost. Even if the war is won were the ones who lost!!! Sounds relevant in 2008
@CreepyFreakFilms I took your advice and yes the studio version is a lot better but its still not my thing, maybe just a bit too punkish for my tastes. I apologize for my comment earlier, my real frustration is with the terrible quality of the video along with the fact that its in a backyard with like 6 people, which I still think is funny : ) Sorry if I offended.

I can do the transfer! I used to write with scott (drums) back in the day. They greatly inspired my band. Check my user link for details. Cheers man!
