Les Evans was a friend of my roomate when i lived in PDX back in the 90's. I had hung out with Les many times and got along with him pretty good, he was a hella cool guy. One day i had a friend of mine over and he pulled me aside and said, dude, is that les evans of cryptic slaughter. I did not realize it was, so i was like nah man, thats les, but he does not play in cryptic slaughter. my friend was like, dude, that is and he does. I aksed les about it and he was like yeah, those were fun times and told a few stories and a i felt like a fool but it was also because les was so very cool and humble and presented himself as just a kind and intelligent dude.

WildRags, Roadhouse Records and Private Eye were the best record stores.
The Cryptic Slaughter was a cool band in 80s. I'm from Ukraine and I always loved listening to them!!!
