GoW cosmology only scales to Earth lol

Proof? The devs have said so much that goes against this thought process. Like how they don't want these characters destroying the planet during their battles because it would be annoying, or how in game descriptions should be taken literally. One dev even specifically said that hyperion's spear really could hold the weight of the infinite cosmos. Or how Kratos deliberately was created with a level of infinite speed by dodging helios's light.

      1. I'm gonna need proof for them claiming they would destroy the planet with their full power which is not true because lore versions of GoW use these very much full powered versions yet still have not exhibited any feat to prove so.
Even if the statement was true, it's literally confirming that all the GoWverse literally resides on a single planet, Earth and that Kratos and the others are only planetary
      2. First off, Kratos never actually dodged Helios' light. This is a massively taken out of context feat that just didn't happen. Helios used his light attack temporarily blinding Kratos, Kratos then proceeds to push through the light covering his eyes until he reached Helios
Secondly, dodging Helios' light isn't even a speed feat, it's a reaction feat. If I dodge a car coming at me at 80kph does that mean I'm faster than the car?
I've even done simple math to explain this which I provided in another comment. I'll simply do it here again to explain the basics of how dodging something with infinite speed isn't an infinite speed feat. After that, I'll prove with statements from GoW pages, statements from Cory Barlog and the Main GoW community post that GoW scales to Earth
      3. So here's some basic maths.
Your argument for having infinite speed to dodge infinite speed would only work if Helios' light started millimeters away from Kratos' face and Kratos still dodged it and even then it still wouldn't be an infinite speed feat.
Infinite speed is just a higher measurement for speed. It's called infinite as a substitute for saying for example quintillions of times the speed of light. If the speed was truly infinite there would be no limit to the speed which would imply that it's everywhere all at once. If they truly had infinite speed they wouldn't be able to use fractions of their speed.
If they had infinite speed, time travel would be 0 issue yet Hermes can't time travel and no this isn't a comic thing, this is reality. Anything faster than light theoretically could go back in time but that's Video game logic so I'll discard it.
My point is they don't have the true definition of infinite speed. Infinite speed is used as a hyperbolic description
To continue my earlier basic maths point
The further away something gets from you, the slower amount of speed required to dodge it.
Kratos would not be able to dodge a point blank right up to his eye Helios' light attack
What he could dodge (if he actually ever dodged it which he didn't) was light coming from multiple meters away
The further something gets, the less speed you need to dodge it, I'll use light speed and black holes to prove it
The closer light is to a black hole, the faster it reaches the black hole, the further away it is, the longer it takes to reach the black hole.
The amount of time it takes is unquantifiable yet it still has a difference. Just because it's miniscule doesn't mean the difference doesn't exist.
The further away Helios' light is from Kratos the longer it takes to reach him no matter how infinite in speed it is it still takes a given amount of time.
The closer it is, the shorter it takes and so speed × distance = time
      For example
      infinity × 5 meters = 0.25 nanoseconds
For that example, it was 5 meters away and took 0.25 nanoseconds.
That means you have a window of 0.25 nanoseconds to react and move your body
Let's say in Kratos' case he takes 0.05 nanoseconds for his brain to react
And it takes 0.15 nanoseconds for him to simply dodge by stepping 50cm to his left
The closer it gets, the shorter time it takes, the more speed you need to react
So it took Kratos 0.15 nanoseconds to move 50cm to the left to dodge because all you need to be able to dodge is to move out of its way
Let's see how long it would take the light to reach Kratos if it was 50cm away which took Kratos 0.15 nanoseconds to move that distance
      infinity × 0.50cm =
      0.025 nanoseconds
So it took infinite speed 0.025 nanoseconds to move 50cm
And it took Kratos 0.15 to move 50cm
Kratos could dodge the infinite speed coming at him from 5 meters away but wouldn't be able to dodge the one 50cm away. This means that Kratos dodging the one that was 5 meters away doesn't mean Kratos had infinite speed, it meant he was extremely fast but just slower and the second equation is proof of that.
Now that I've debunked that, I'll send proof for GoW scaling to Earth
      4. This is the evidence that supports and contradicts the devs statements on the size of GoW
the wiki of GoW along with Cory Barlog stated this
(This is in reference to GOW4 proving it takes place in Scandinavia Norway also proving the Greek Mythology exists in the same place)
      Wiki of GoW
"Predating the Vikings, most of the game takes place in ancient Scandinavia in the realm of Midgard, which is inhabited by humans and other creatures. It is the same realm in which the Greek world existed."
Note how it says same realm referring to the dimensional plane proving they both exist on the same land
(Earth being mentioned as the location of GoW)
      Wiki of GoW
"However, while Homer and his contemporaries believed the sky formed a solid, vaulted dome ("firmament") over the disc-shaped Earth, God of War clearly holds the heavens/universe outside of the Earth to be normal."
This is the same piece of firmament Atlas
was stated to hold above Earth. It proves that while different dimensions exist outside of Earth
(Again mentions Greece which is the country on Earth again proving the game takes place in the same place)
Wiki of GoW + Cory Barlog
"After three games of hunting down the gods of Greece, Kratos was due for a change of scenery. After the events of God of War 3, creative director of the franchise, Cory Barlog, confirmed that Kratos had moved to Midgard"
(Proof of Kratos sailing to reach Scandinavia)
      Wiki of GoW
"Kratos traveled by boat until the flood started to disperse, (referring to the flood caused by the death of Posiden) deciding after weeks of sailing to settle down in Midgard. This is where he meets his now deceased wife Faye and fosters a son named Atreus. The game provides many references to other cultures and mythologies, making it seem like the flood physically connected them even further."
The weeks of sailing accurately proves the actual size of Earth. Sailing by any boat made in those times would take weeks.
Cory Barlog or at least one of the devs also stated that quote "Kratos travelled up North until he reached land"
Traveling North would seem impossible seeing as how North of Greece is land with only small passages through but then you remember that Posiden caused the entirety of Greece and its surroundings areas to flood which is why it states "Kratos traveled by boat until the flood dispersed" implying that the flood covered the oceans
(From the GoW community page as the first reply with the most upvotes to a question)
"Can’t find the link, but Cory “Barlog” said somewhere that in the god of war universe different pantheons coexist based on their location, kinda like real world.
Ie. Greece, Norway, Egypt, japan, or Scotland ?-not sure about the last one cause it was a symbol that I don’t recognize. There is gameplay of a broken runic door in Tyrs vault that shows the 4 pantheon symbols.
The full story of how kratos gets to Midgard will be explained in the soon coming comic series; by dark horse I think."
All of these coupled with the fact that Santa Monica openly follows British observed Mythology to make the GOW games and funnily enough British observed Mythology follows the belief that all Mythologys existed only on Earth which is even a direct contradiction to even the mention of Dimensions
      My points being this
1.The main location for the GoWverse is Earth
      2. The infinite dimensions that reside in the Mythologys are only infinite in regards to their Mythologys which means they are smaller than the world but infinite to its own Mythology which is a great reason as to why Yggdrasil doesn't span across the entire world but instead only Scandinavia and its other realms
      3. GoW by definition isn't truly infinite. Even Mount Olympus in real life is the same one used in the game and the lore.
      4. The Earth with the explanation I've provided is the largest thing in GOW.
All the universes that were stated to be created were the Mythologys, at this point to say that is incorrect is to deny and contradict all the evidence I've provided into proving Earth is the biggest and main location of GoW.
      5. All infinite dimensions created by primordials are only infinite in regards to its own Mythology, in comparison to Earth, these infinite spaces are only as big as its Mythology, to say otherwise is to imply the Greek Primordials had the power to create dimensions that span across and include different dimensions which would contradict the fact that primordials and Gods don't hold any extra knowledge on different Mythologys.
