Is it possible to take photo/video using only controller... without app? If yes...How? I installed a 2gb SD card...when I press left button to take photo..I hear "beep" but not pics stored in SD card:(....no problem with app...I can take pics or video...but any through controller

lol! you can't expect too much from a toy drone sub $50 range :)
Yeah, the video quality isn't great. Not even that it's 720p, but that the video has poor microcontrast. But... if you want good quality video, put more money into it. I think this is great for someone like me who wants to start out with video drones.

Hi Pete, Thanks for the reply. My JD-20-3, so it says on the box, I assume is a version 3? The camera also points straight up too.

I'm seeing in this video that if you press de landing button the drone return very near to the take off point. Does it function works as the return to home mode? I know this mode sometimes is not available cause the drone doesn't have GPS but in the video seems like if you use the landing button it return close to you. Is that correct?
It doesn't have gps therefore it doesn't have return to home. it has one key return which means it goes south bound and just so happens I'm at the south bound path.
RC Escape ok. But in the video the drone is a little far away and you press the right joystick inwards (the landing mode) and I can see the drone return very close to you. So I was thinking probably this mode works as return home in some way?

The antennas on your tx were sticking straight out to the drone like a pointer. They shut be pointing up, flat side facing to drone. Give it a try for more distance. Nice demo
