There are better Hawkers in Singapore selling better food, or go to Klang in Malaysia or Penang, the food there is cheaper than Singapore and better quality.
Ingredient is also key to the food. The roast pork at the outlet has such such such strong "pig" taste.. omg dun they know how to process it before cooking?? Mr Chan please visit the store and spot check your staff and standard. There are lots of good review now but I have read bad ones popping up online as well.
I mean no offence towards Hawker Chan, but most Singaporeans would opt for another chicken rice vendor. Please don't let Michelin overinflate your opinion of food.
I had the opposite experience, every other hawker stands and even restaurant had bland chicken rice, but hawker chan's was sweet, and crispy and even much cheaper than the others
publicity stunt to promote Michelin Guide - award a star to a street food hawker. I am not being negative, just seeing through the marketing ploy. The are many great street food in Asia, which is as good as this
He is a master chef! So humble and nice. I will go to Singapore one day and try his food.

Anyone knows the location of the branch at the hawker centre?

I'm one of them. It taste simply normal. I prefer the other stall at the same hawker named 'Maria' in mandarin , It's a lot better .
