when you put your volume up in the volume bar on windows on the top of the volume bar you can click and change where you hear the sound sry if i didnt explain well
I guess both acer and viewsonic are va panel monitor but on the other hand response time is different acer do have 1ms & Amd freeSync which is relatively faster for gaming. If you are considering for Great Picture Quality go for acer. I think both the monitor is value for money.

Yes go to your nvidia settings and change the resolution connecting to your hdmi and you can find the 100hz. I have the same monitor so yeah. I know.
